Thanks for posting. I went to this this show in Bristol courtesy of my friend Martin who was doing his lights. It was tremendously loud, but the house PA there is really good - clear and full so that was okay. I thought this opening song was the best thing though. It was brilliant when Todd picked up his Strat for that solo, but that was really the only time he rocked out with it. Shame really. I was hoping for a round of International Feel but it never happened :(
windows of glass.... light shining through... the inside seeing the light the outside shines in... through stained glass...…. as we all are … stained...…. fragments of light …… different colors...…. showing us to each other... hit by the light.... shining on us...… hoping the other sees u s...… the light w e are …. shining to be the light we all look for …
Great job! Have a look at "Todd's 65th birthday from Cleveland" (key words) video I produced. I have the State video footage from Cleveland a few months ago. Great angle!!!
Bart, this video is excellent!! Saw him twice in Ohio last May, in Columbus and Cincinnati, and both shows were awesome. Miss talking to you, message me! I don't think I have your e-mail address anymore. Hope all is well with you and the family! xo
after following tr since 1970 I find it amazing how he keeps if up a wizard a true star healing Todd liars state what next initiation regards don.t POV.
Trust Todd to have a body double on guitar. And just as I'm starting to get pissed that he's handed off the guitar duties to some other dude - he picks up his Strat!
Love your comment about Todd's body double. When Jesse first started with Todd, if you saw one of them across a big room you couldn't know which one of them it actually was.
Was at this gig having not followed Todd since the mid 1990's I went in hearing the material fresh and enjoyed this opening track, but I have to say, I came near to leaving but stayed till the end. It was sad to see Todd give a karaoke/dance/rave performance with sub standard material. I guess you cannot expect every artist to keep playing the same old stuff but having also seen Rush and Neil Young & Crazy Horse they were and were both superb in front of sold out shows. Todd is better than this.
SUPER COOL....TODD U'RE AT THE TOP !
That was so good..he is always great...State is an excellent album
