Definitely a future Bok if he can stay injury free because he is very strong on his legs and if the Sharks use him as a bulldozing tool he won't last.

After Lukhanyo Am retires, I hope Jurenzo Julius can take over the 13 Jersey. I pray God can keep him injury free and bless his career. The Man has talent. If he trains hard, trains intelligently and puts his faith in God, he'll be a great 13 for South Africa.
Also, just wanted to mention that it has been a pleasure watching Lukhanyo Am up to this point in his career. He's currently the world's best 13.
Perhaps he can even mentor Jurenzo Julius.

I've watched him play many games at school level. This kid is far more than just brute strength. He is consistently the fastest player on the field, has amazing foot skills, and although the video only shows his power plays, he has amazing hand skills also.
The very sad reality is, South African coaches struggle to unlock the potential of such a player. I fear they will use him as a battering ram and all that he can be will not be utilized. He should have stayed at WP to develop his full skill lset along Libbok, Willemse, Nel etc.

    • @SCHOOLOFSPORTS

This young man is magic. Had all the skills to be a Bok, will he fit the Bok picture? Stop going for bashing rams and develop a game to unleash natural talent like this guy. Play a 80’s game where the forwards won the ball and our backs scored the tries. By the way Bok coaches, intreduce the forwards and backs to each other, might just gell as a team. From a Bok hopeful.

He needs team mates that play at the same level as him, that can see what he is doing and try be one step ahead so he can off load. He is rapid so they need to be alot faster that what he is used to in order to fully utilise his skills, I think by him going to sharks where there will be alot of way more experienced players who will be able to back and support him on and off the field it will be good for him and rugby
