I think part of the issue is the American market is just wack. We would NEVER get those fantasy religious figures, especially not 12 for $10! Those would be $10 apiece here. And the blaster. In Japan, I want to say it was like $50-65. Which Americans would think that was crazy spending that much on a kid. The American version was, again, about $15. So here you have this vast gulf, where Americans charge way too much for cheap stuff, but refuse to charge more for the expensive stuff. I suppose manufacturing/imports on the cheap stuff makes it not worth it, but I have heard so many parents say to their kids in the stores when they were looking at a figure that was $50ish "No, that's too expensive. It's not worth that much. Go pick something cheaper." (Or, in one case "YOU'RE not worth that much." That one broke my heart) So it seems the American market is "We need it cheap" but the manufactures go "We need more money."

I'm not trying to go buy up much more but want to get the entire series and the chase figures of Demon Chronicles. It's like a alternate of Monster in my Pocket. Yes, the West would have a tough time paying Japanese toy prices
