When I load a cartridge into this printer it immediately spits out a blank. Does anyone know if there is a way to stop it from doing that? It's a waste of label. I just got this label printer and so far really like it, except for this one issue.
Also if it gets turned off and turned back on it spits out a label. This machine wastes a lot of labels. Compared to a plug in and use label maker it is a complete pain but we were in a hurry and needed a label maker fast. Do your research.
Can you buy rolls by themselves? If not the prices for cartridges is too expensive. Your labels cost 0.067p a lablel. Brother printer's labels are 0.026p. You have a cheaper printer but you overcharge on labels.
Hello, the ZSB Series boasts an eco-friendly, drop-in label cartridge system that is extremely easy to use and good for the environment. Label cartridges can be purchased from a number of major retailers online, and can be individually recycled after use to eliminate waste.
The cartridge has a chip that prevents you from re-using it. They want you to pay them a recurring fee for new proprietary cartridges so you can't buy rolls elsewhere.
My concern ins the cost. Sure it's less waste but the cost is 4x times higher. As a business that prints 100s a day this is massive cost at the end of the year. I guess it's great for the at home person that needs a label. For a business it just makes no sense.

@@ZebraTechnologiesGlobal wouldn't there be even less waste if you could just place the roll directly in the machine without a disposable cartridge?
@@ZebraTechnologiesGlobal or is waste not really your main concern?
