Man, I love your videos, I remember when your name was yauy and you had about 3000 subs. I'm a huge fan and I love listening to your voice because it is so relaxing, I hope to see more videos to come
9:10 Kirby Triple Deluxe was fantastic! Great throwbacks throughout the game, like these huge scrolls that you have to use the Hyper Nova inhaling ability to unravel and it reveals an old school Kirby level. The abilities use the Super Star method for being able to change how each ability is used. I hear Plant Robobot carries that forward even more. I haven't had a chance to pick it up yet.
Great video keep it up, I love seeing Nintendo collectors because I get to see things that I grew up on as well as current things. P.s.-HUGE FAN AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
I bought the Smash Bros. Gamecube controller from Best Buy....yes they actually had it in stock....and I have ordered the Japan-only white controller from Amazon. It was actually $7 cheaper than the black controller from Best Buy!
***** not too much outside of the new 3ds models. i'm just waiting for some older stuff to pop up on ebay. believe it or not, i have most everything i've ever wanted. :)
World of nintendo, there is pit amiibo in stock at Amazon from a Japanese seller for $19.99 with shipping I just picked one up and there are still more in stock so if your looking for it still u can find it there
Out of all the Amiibo's I am missing 6 FREAKING 6 Marth Villager Wii Fit Trainer Pit Captain Falcon and Little Mac and Feburary I hope I get Shulk, Toon Link, and Meta Knight, Mega Man, and Sonic Nintendo made a huge screw up.
arioca thank you! i'm not too much into variations in handhelds (i prefer solid colors) so i probably won't be getting the retro nes edition. however, i do plan to pick up the newly-designed 3ds and 3ds xl that are supposed to come out in north america next year.
I'm that 14 year old who never got a chance to even see Marth. Except I'm 16 and still holding out hope I can find one. Hell, the Smash 4 Bundle was way easier to find than Marth. I've seen a couple dozen at retail prices in my search but not a single Marth ;-;
I'm frustrated about the amiibos too. I've been looking for them and adding as I find them, but missing all of the rares except Marth. I also refuse to pay scalpers online, and won't spend more than retail price + shipping and handling. Bottom line: guess I'm SOL on Wii Fit Trainer and Villager because Nintendo doesn't want to sell me its product.
I do feel really sorry for you guys in the USA. It seems much more easy to find all the amiibo in the UK. I have all 18 launch figures and have the next wave pre-ordered. :(
I'm actually not collecting any amiibo just because collecting them all will be too difficult and expensive. Nintendo really blew the math on the whole supply/demand equation, which is especially disappointing considering Japan was a major logistics and supply chain innovator. There is just no reason for Nintendo to create an awful collector's market, after all Nintendo doesn't see any of that after market cash and long time Nintendo fans like me decide to spend amiibo money on the steam sale or my xbox one instead because getting amiibos is too frustrating and expensive. Really disappointed in the way Nintendo is handling this.
Unne Cessary Ultimately, Nintendo of America should be guided on all matters of the brand by head office and not be allowed to screw up one of the largest and most profitable markets that Nintendo has access to. There really is no excuse, supply and demand are really basic business concepts that Nintendo should not be struggling with at this point.
bobbypaycheque Still, I don't think that Nintendo of Japan can force Nintendo of America to do anything in regards to business strategies. Sure, they can give them advice, but Nintendo of America doesn't have to follow through with whatever they say.
It appears that you and Nintendo had a pretty good year, besides the Amiibo thing. It sounds COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS that they would end it there for the less popular ones. I understand making less than others, but I prefer it the other way around. The less popular (notice "less", not "un-" because it wouldn't make sense to make unpopular ones) ones should have a base number made, and popular ones should have amounts above that, not amounts substantially subtracted.
Love your videos, I haven't found a GameCube adapter yet and the amiibo fiasco is ridiculous to me. I have link samus and was lucky enough to find a Marth but the rarity of these figures is crazy, last night I by chance checked the GameStop app for captain falcon and found a store that had one about 30 minutes away. I called and they held him and a pit for me, but they got one of each and they are the only ones within 50 MILES

A great looking year. Do you have many major plans collecting wise for 2015?
***** not too much outside of the new 3ds models. i'm just waiting for some older stuff to pop up on ebay. believe it or not, i have most everything i've ever wanted. :)
I have, diddy kong x 2, wii fit trainer, and little mac. 4, yes 4 marth went missing from my work!!
Gee Zed Eee Power wow. do you think they were taken by a customer or an employee?
World of Nintendo Not entirely sure. They wouldn't have left the store without a security tag on them. Made me think it was staff but who knows.

stephen man thanks for the tip! it looks like amazon will come through with my pre-order after all.

Captain Falcon

Nintendo made a huge screw up.
I got a Villager at a midnight launch and WFT off of Amazon. I guess I'm lucky???
I saw a Villager Amiibo go for $6000 on EBay... crazy
Very nice 2014 pickups! Are you planning on getting the 3DS XL Retro NES Edition System?
arioca thank you! i'm not too much into variations in handhelds (i prefer solid colors) so i probably won't be getting the retro nes edition. however, i do plan to pick up the newly-designed 3ds and 3ds xl that are supposed to come out in north america next year.
When talking about Wii U games, what happened to Captain Toad Treasure Tracker?
Just noticed that you talk about the game later in the video, sorry.

Mada100LetsPlays hope you find him soon!
Love your vids...
Nintendolove27 thank you!
26:20
***** there are more time codes in the video description as well.
World of Nintendo Ah didn't see those. Just put that one for my own reference later :P

love the end of the video btw :)
I can't find Wii Sports Club. The ones I have seen on Amazon is overpriced at $50 to $70.
Also am I the only one finding it a coincidence that the games that came out on 5/2/14 are the ones you haven't played yet?
MrWildcard531 must have been because i had a tough grad class start around that time. hopefully i'll get to them soon!
What did you think of Tomodachi Life? I know that came out in non-Japan regions this year. [If you played/tried it]
***** i haven't picked that one up yet. i've been thinking about it, though
World of Nintendo Do it, it is literally the greatest game I have ever played.
Scalpers online? Sounds like they’re trying to get away with it. I hope somebody gets scolded at for this.

bobbypaycheque you said it much better (and in less time) than i did! thanks for the comment!
World of Nintendo
Great video as always.
To be fair, Nintendo of America is the branch of Nintendo that oversees the American market. Japan actually has a pretty decent supply of each Amiibo.
