So the issue I have on my mac book pro is it is asking for authorization to allow the record System Audio. It says Authorization Required. The system audio plugin is installed but not authorized. Please enable the plugin in System Preferences >Security & Privacy. When I select Screen & System Audio Recording Snagit 2020 is authorized. Am I missing something?
Thanks. Did you zoomed in\out during the recording, using Snagit tools, or other software? Or you zoomed in after completion the recording using another video editing software?
Our tutorials are made with our sister software Camtasia. Snagit is great for making quick short recordings, but Camtasia gives you more powerful editing capabilities.
I had installed snagit 2023 and snagit 12, I consulted techmith and they told me I can safely delete the old version. So I did. Now , I cannot longer capture videos.

Does the Video need to be paying for SNAGIT to capture it? How do you record from the start of the video? If the video isn't playing and I hit record it records a static screen.

Glad it's working! Some services like Netflix actually block recording even if a video is playing, but that shouldn't be an issue for something like TH-cam.

No, we don't currently have any way to start/stop recordings based on an RDP session.

Yes the video needs to be playing. What are you trying to record? It may have DRM protections that prevent screen recording for copyright reasons.

You can record as long as you have hard drive space available! Snagit doesn't have any limit other than that.
