Geoff as much as I loved this video I have to tell you my Mom loved it even more. I shared the pre-release with her and she's been watching it repeatedly all week. Once she came down in a panic (she lives in an apartment above my garage) because she had accidently deleted the link. You have to understand that my 79 year old Mom lives & breathes the band "Queen" and Freddie Mercury; listens to their music incessantly, watches documentaries, has seen the movie Bohemian Rhapsody at least 20 times, wears Queen t-shirts, etc. but yesterday she told me that you were her favorite singer after Queen. This basically raises you to legend status in our household! Also, she thinks you are a very handsome "young man" so I'm suppose to tell you to stop worrying about turning 40. 😁

Liked this song when Bing Crosby did it. Not disappointed with this version in the slightest. Geoff’s range always amazes me. Singing harmony when the Sirens come in, then dropping to the bass later on.

After listening to this song several times, I have decided that Geoff has a particular talent not only for arranging songs of various styles, but also honoring the genres. I hope we will see more collections with the American Sirens, as there is a giant catalogue of timeless songs that would suit the pairing.
I love the bass notes that add punch to so many videos, and this one isn't as obviously bassy, but it is in that sweet spot of Geoff's voice. It lives in that range where his voice is just smooth and perfect, with just enough low (and high) notes to wow us. And the American Siren's add a lovely counternote. It's such a pleasure to listen to, and the understated humor of the video is a joy. I keep playing it on repeat - I cannot get enough.
after listening to fit for like 10 more times, I have come to the conclusion that Geoff went with the Sirens waaaayyy too easily for a triplet that just randomly appeared in the office
Major, MAJOR props for not doing fake hula moves or plastic "grass" skirts and other stereotypical Hawaiian "costumes." I'm so happy to see other people appreciating this song without ruining it all with cheesy tourist imagery of Hawai'i! This was gorgeous and definitely a Christmas song don't mind hearing over and over again :P

They're quite common and definitely culturally accurate, and since they aren't delicate and short-lived like flower leis, they make great (and accurate) souvenirs-I have a bunch hanging on my coat rack that I've acquired from the Hawaiian side of my family over the years!

I realize that I'm a year late with the comment, but I didn't know about Geoff or Voiceplay until recently. EVERY song by both Geoff & Voiceplay are A1 EXCELLENT!!!! I thought this was a "Mr. Sandman" cover by the Chordettes. Boy was I surprised!!! Beautiful arrangement of a wonderful Christmas classic!! There are moments his voice sounds like it takes on a bit of a country twang and in those moments his voice reminds me of Trace Adkins. I've always loved this song. Well done! And I'm not comparing him to Trace Adkins, I'm just saying that in those moments it reminds me of him.

As a frustrated bass singer, Geoff is one I listen to over and over and try to match. Also, I love how Geoff gave room for the American Sirens to shine. Very gracious.
He has a wonderful tenor voice.
I have a couple things to say, 1) I love how confused he looks at 1:00, 2) I looked at and subscribed to American Sirens, they have that classic feel to them, and 3) Merry Chrismas Everyone!!!, God Bless.

Wow! Three super-smooth mezzo-sopranoes and a basso profundo. The contrast amplifies all of them.
Geoff, when you said, "BTW, It's incredibly difficult to sing in harmony, perform for the camera, dance, act, and look good doing it," I was nodding along and saying, "Well, Geoff, you managed it perfectly!" Then you mentioned the four-inch heels, and I was very confused, since those shoes you had on were not that high-heeled!
It took me a moment, but then I figured it out. I had to laugh at myself! But you're right! The American Sirens did a fantastic job! All of that, and in four-inch heels! Yeah!

This is awesome. I love how Geoff both leads and blend with The American Sirens, and how they mixed in the A Capella start of Mr Sandman before going into Mele Kalikimaka. LOVE IT

After listening to this song several times, I have decided that Geoff has a particular talent not only for arranging songs of various styles, but also honoring the genres. I hope we will see more collections with the American Sirens, as there is a giant catalogue of timeless songs that would suit the pairing.

Geoff's facial expression is just perfect!
I love the bass notes that add punch to so many videos, and this one isn't as obviously bassy, but it is in that sweet spot of Geoff's voice. It lives in that range where his voice is just smooth and perfect, with just enough low (and high) notes to wow us. And the American Siren's add a lovely counternote. It's such a pleasure to listen to, and the understated humor of the video is a joy. I keep playing it on repeat - I cannot get enough.
I love his 30 second transfer from pure confusion to just acting like this is a normal monday lunch break.

Major, MAJOR props for not doing fake hula moves or plastic "grass" skirts and other stereotypical Hawaiian "costumes." I'm so happy to see other people appreciating this song without ruining it all with cheesy tourist imagery of Hawai'i! This was gorgeous and definitely a Christmas song don't mind hearing over and over again :P

They're quite common and definitely culturally accurate, and since they aren't delicate and short-lived like flower leis, they make great (and accurate) souvenirs-I have a bunch hanging on my coat rack that I've acquired from the Hawaiian side of my family over the years!

I realize that I'm a year late with the comment, but I didn't know about Geoff or Voiceplay until recently. EVERY song by both Geoff & Voiceplay are A1 EXCELLENT!!!! I thought this was a "Mr. Sandman" cover by the Chordettes. Boy was I surprised!!! Beautiful arrangement of a wonderful Christmas classic!! Geoff hits this one out of the park, & the SIRENS are beautiful dolls too!!!
There are moments his voice sounds like it takes on a bit of a country twang and in those moments his voice reminds me of Trace Adkins. I've always loved this song. Well done! And I'm not comparing him to Trace Adkins, I'm just saying that in those moments it reminds me of him.
Geoff will never cease to amaze me. The melody, the tone and the atmosphere that he brings in is so calming, yet I can't help but to explode at his amazing skills.
