by far my favorite.ive personally gone through stuff like this with my own mom hurting my best friends daughter who barely survived.when i found out it was my mom who did it at her in home daycare it took me about 20 seconds to turn her in so like you i dont understand how people see stuff or know about it but make excuses not to say anything. my mom was in the news ect shortly after pretty much my whole family disowned me .there are no excuses and i would do it again.
You did the right thing. People can't (or shouldn't anyway) just cover for their family members, if they are harming innocent and defenseless beings, like children or animals. It's very wrong when people just look the other way if a family member does something really awful.
I grew up in the 70's and was a teenager in the 80's. It was NOT like it is today. If you tried to go for help to a school counselor they'd just assume you were a trouble maker. It was NEVER taken seriously. Your parents were told that you accused them and then you were sent home with them to "handle your problems at home". NOBODY went to adults because children knew it did no good. You'd be labelled as problematic.
I went to private convent, if our grades weren't A's we got into trouble, our parents would be disappointed and never questioned te nuns/teachers, although our school days were long, we still had 3 hours of homework, extra at weekends, and those of us who were considered 'the clever ones' got it worse.
Koppelman is an amazing person. What he has done and helped with is amazing. I hope one day he does not have to work in accounting full time and can focus on what he does best and what his gifts are for.
First off, let me say, I have seen several videos/shows about this case, and this is the first time I've heard a ton of these details. I had no idea how extensive that creature's criminal history actually was, so thank you for taking the time to uncover the truth! Second, as has happened so many times before, so many of these crimes against girls and women could have been avoided if a) law enforcement did their job and b) we had any sort of common sense laws that kept people like this behind bars, knowing damn well they are going to be repeat offenders. Fucking infuriating.

As a woman, it terrifies me how few r8p3 cases are actually solved. Poor Aundria and the other women who had to live with the trauma this sick man put them through.
Just want to say….. the reason you do these videos, to give them a voice, well the only reason I watch these gut wrenching, heartbreaking, horrific videos is to listen to their voice’s. I feel that In most cases NOONE listened or rescued them from the evil so many lived with and while they are no longer with us, I feel it’s important to hear their stories out no matter how horrific the stories may be, there’s no amount of of tears, shock, or the feeling of being uncomfortable could never ever ever come even close to the horrors they lived through. So I listen to you tell their stories which if this hard for me to listen to must most certainly be awful for you. With all this being said, I want to thank you for being the voice of those who were so sadly ignored until it was to late. It just seems to me that it is certainly possible, given the age gap, his molestation of Aundria, the mother's ability to turn a blind eye and be complicit to his depravity, and Aundria being so maternal towards the baby, etc.

If I were Vanessa, I'd want a DNA test, for sure! But bear in mind that just prior to menopause women do tend to experience a late surge in fertility, so even if she hadn't been able to have a child for 20 years, especially since her husband was a deviant predator out getting his jollies in other ways - she may have had an late 30s or even early 40s surprise pregnancy. It happens.

I find it hard to believe that the guy’s wife didn’t suspect him in Aundria’s disappearance. By staying with him and supporting him despite knowing of his past crimes she basically enabled him, so he could appear like a normal, respectable family man and Sunday school teacher (why did that nugget not surprise me?).
Wow, it's horrifying how many crimes this sick predator was able to get away with. I don't buy this "poor innocent Brenda, didn't know her degenerate gr**ist husband abused and killed their adopted daughter" act. She gave him her blessing in every crime he was caught in, she knew for decades what sort of creature she'd married, and turned a blind eye to it all. She's just as bad as he is. The bio mother, investigator and other people who worked together to finally bring justice are incredible though!! They restore a lot of faith in humanity, even when facing horrific stories like these, there are the quiet heros behind the scenes working to try to right the wrongs in the world.
This story made me sick in my stomach, I'm no police officer or a detective but cmon how and why wasn't he looked at in more depth. They should be putting all DNA from every cold case into the genealogy DNA data base and see if the person who committed the offence is still out there

I’m sure there were reasons she gave her up for adoption but once you do that, you give up your rights, you aren’t there to protect them, you have no say- they’re left vulnerable to whatever fate they get. My brother has been homeless for 20yrs. He will stop by occasionally to ask for money or food. He has almost 60 thousand in the bank. He forgets how to use his card. The state worker is supposed to help him with financial and medical care. Anyways, i haven't seen him in a few months. There's no way of knowing if he is alive.

Everyone always says that if you are being abused to tell your Pastor or an adult you trust, such as a friend’s parent. Aundria did this more than once and they all failed her miserably. I suspect they feel some remorse for not doing so once the truth came out but it’s too late then, isn’t it?

I find it hard to believe that the guy’s wife didn’t suspect him in Aundria’s disappearance. By staying with him and supporting him despite knowing of his past crimes she basically enabled him, so he could appear like a normal, respectable family man and Sunday school teacher (why did that nugget not surprise me?).
Wow, it's horrifying how many crimes this sick predator was able to get away with. I don't buy this "poor innocent Brenda, didn't know her degenerate gr**ist husband abused and killed their adopted daughter" act. She gave him her blessing in every crime he was caught in, she knew for decades what sort of creature she'd married, and turned a blind eye to it all. She's just as bad as he is.
The bio mother, investigator and other people who worked together to finally bring justice are incredible though!! They restore a lot of faith in humanity, even when facing horrific stories like these, there are the quiet heros behind the scenes working to try to right the wrongs in the world.
This story made me sick in my stomach, I'm no police officer or a detective but cmon how and why wasn't he looked at in more depth. They should be putting all DNA from every cold case into the genealogy DNA data base and see if the person who committed the offence is still out there

But that woman abandoned her daughter. I’m sure there were reasons she gave her up for adoption but once you do that, you give up your rights, you aren’t there to protect them, you have no say- they’re left vulnerable to whatever fate they get. You hope it’s a better fate, but she gave her kid away… now she feels guilty &/or angry because someone killed her poor biological daughter (which is horrific) but that’s the chance to take when you give your kid up for adoption. Just how it goes… RIP sweet Aundria 😪💔💐🙏

My brother has been homeless for 20yrs. He will stop by occasionally to ask for money or food. He has almost 60 thousand in the bank. He forgets how to use his card. The state worker is supposed to help him with financial and medical care. Anyways, i haven't seen him in a few months. There's no way of knowing if he is alive.
