I was there in 2016 and it was one of my most beautiful journeys ever...coming from Frankfurt over Copenhagen via Oslo to Longyearbyen...thank God, I was there...❤️
Hi there. The flight was around 400 Euros. I slept in Gjestehuset in a shared room which was 40 Euros per night, food and drunks aren't cheap but there's a supermarket where you find everything you need. Boattrips are expensive - day trip to see glaciers and wild life start from 180 euros.
First you need a job, in advance. Or be considerably rich. You must be able to financially support yourself and your family for the length of your stay. There are no social services on Svalbard. Going there with the idea of living on welfare ensures your death withing a couple of days at best.
From what I have read. The Russians decided to keep one person at their abandoned coal mine, rather than having to dismantle and cart everything away from the island.
Hello. I am a black, and I am just wondering if there are black people living in svalbard? If they are, are they really accepted and welcomed? For I am interested in coming to svalbard
Norway is very welcoming to people of any ethnicity in general, and especially Svalbard which with it's small population has people of over 50 nationalities already.
I can’t wait for the day that I can wake up, turn my head and say good morning to my neighbor's in svalbard. But the I need a room in local community,I'll be there on the 20th could you be of help?
You must be able to financially support yourself and your family for the length of your stay. There are no social services on Svalbard. If you meet these prerequisites you can stay, otherwise, only death waits for you there.
Nope. As far as I know longyearbyen hasn’t had one single case. They are still 100% covid free. Everyone who travels there has to present a negative test before they can fly over. And as of June if you are vaccinated you don’t have to present a negative test anymore.
Wonderful place, thanks for sharing beautiful video and excellent photography congratulations 🙏
Nature there is amazing سبحان الخلاق العظيم
Wish i could drop everything and fly here on a whim. What an adventure ^^ thanks for this beautiful sight.

I'm fascinated with Arctic climates and the culture that surrounds it. Being from South Florida I've never seen the leaves change.✌
I from Europe.I am well acquainted with the cold winters as at Svalbard

How to settle in Svalbard?

Any job vaccancy available in Svalbard
It’s a rough terrain, but beautiful place.

Great place to visit but you have to be a masochist to live there year round. Makes Alaska look desirable.
Nice video. Would be even better if you added some subtitles or did some voiceovers…
I was thinking of it...well, there's always something to improve :)

You are first a human being, what ever your colour, a dreadful shame you should have to ask that😩

Never I touch the snow
Amazing but no masks or social distancing?

Norway has left out covid restrictions already and decided to leave with covid as normal sickness it's I'm the news
It’s to cold for COVID lol
Don’t go there if you are all into masks and social distancing
Why don't you talk, explain your video and photo shots.
I like that there isn’t any talking. Frees me up to think.
This video is 100 times better without talking. Not every travelling youtuber needs to be a vlogger.
It’s to cold for COVID lol
Exactly seems like warm climates always have the most problems.
