Paia we had in Oahu was pretty pricey but very good that we ate twice. I didn't dig Kailua beach as much as other beaches. The day I drove there on 3 hours of sleep, it was so hot and tiring. Parking, in residential area that Google map took us to, was tougher than a $2 steak to find available spot, with no public restroom within vicinity area. If I recall, it was pretty windy that day.
Looks like mist of the buildings are low rise, no high rise apartments along your way..AK this way you may find the calm in your day....the beaches are lovely and beautiful...the weather is nice too...thanks for sharing
Long time viewer AK and former NYC resident. Now my backyard is literally on the other side of the Small hills you mentioned at 4:26 and faced at 6:05. Would have been cool to meet during your walk but maybe next time. Great job, thanks for bringing a lil slice of Hawaii to your viewer base 👍🏻🤙🏼 alloooohaa
Very enjoyable premiere , and nice looking neighborhood 1:06 , nice murals like at 14:42 , 20:32 😎 44:48 Such a nice and beautiful beach 🙂Thank you for sharing this enjoyable and relaxing video A K🙂👍!!!
Hi AK, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for a walk down Memory Lane. I lived right off of Kailua Beach for two years of my life 49 years ago. It was so amazing to see it again and she how much it has changed. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful journeys, especially this one ❤
😏👍. I am IMPRESSED.. excellent camera work, very good narration, slow pan back and forth with Soft Soled shoes 👟.. you also picked an excellent walking route. I like the more suburban neighborhood walk, rather then a glitzy tourist trap
Loving the older/local parts of Oahu. My dad is from Grand Cayman and I lived there for 9 months. The path to the beach took me right back to my Grandmother's house which was right across from the beach in West Bay 41:27
Kailua so beautiful 🤩 luv the beach; are you still in Hawaii AK? Magnum PI 80s series Robin Masters house was at 41-505 Kalanianaole Hwy, Waimanalo someone bought the place 2015 demolished it to build new ritzy house; the original estate was built in 1930s it was called Pahonu; the water in front of the property has ancient stone enclosure called Pahonu Pond it was used by ancient fishermen to raise and keep turtles
Nice to see the local shops and nice residential homes in Kailua, and it would be much better if there are more sidewalks. 😃 41:44 I'm glad you walked down this path to showcase the spectacular scenery! 😍 It's amazing to see beach is at the backyard of those homes. 🏖🌴 Thank you for sharing this informative and relaxing stroll, AK! 🤗
Hi Action Kid, I love your videos from Hawaii. I feel like I'm on vacation when I close my eyes and listen intently to the sounds. What strikes me is that you very rarely ever go into a cafe or restaurant to go into the scope and quality of the goods. That would be very interesting. Or is it not allowed to film in cafes and restaurants in Hawaii? Greetings from Germany
Nice old trail to Kailua from the Nuuanu Pali Lookout, starts far right of viewing area ... in the trail guides, goes under the H2 not far along ...

👍on your videos, but I’d like to suggest that you have a local friend join you to ensure your pronunciation of anything Hawaiian isn’t so awful.
