Simply stunning! Ever since I first heard Libera and our dear Sam's arrangement of this piece, I have been humming it to myself ever since. What amazes me the most, is the fact that Libera have managed to seal their uniqueness on the melody, without taking away the original spender of Japanese style of sound, created by the late Ryuichi Sakamoto. East meets West big time, I hope we hear more of this 'composite genre' in the future. This single should keep Libera at the top of the FAB Chart in the run-up to Christmas for sure. Well done everyone! 👏👏👏
Although Ryuichi Sakamoto has passed away, I am happy that his music is being played all over the world in this way. I listen to Libera's songs every day, and this song is one of my favorites. Thank you for the early Christmas present.

Hoping and wishing there would be more collaborations with more Japanese composers in the future~ AND SINGERS TOO! Beautiful production, though some take exception to the cosplay dance and others question the assent given to Shinto religion. As for the former, I don't have an opinion, but for the latter, I understand and appreciate Libera's effort to relate to the Japanese in their search for God. It's a shrine to God, and the boys IMO can safely understand it in that way. I'm still waiting though for the lyrics to resonate. For me, the meaning makes the music. The title and theme seem similar to Once An Angel, both a look back and forward in time. The theme is again relational, as have been several songs of late, such as God Only Knows, The Lighthouse and now Seabird. This is a curious verse: "Once upon a place, Where we built our future, There within that place, It haunts me still. Once upon a place, How my life retains the imprint of that place."
