    Very helpful demo video of this tool, thank you. I especially appreciated that you showed before-and-afters of multiple kinds of wood with pencil lines drawn on them, as well as wood with and without varnish. I just watched another review for this same sander and they talked the entire five minutes but didn't demo sanding varieties of *any* wood, much less wood in different conditions. Your video was awesome since you actually showed the tool's effectiveness (and you let us make up our mind about if it's good or not, I like that.)
    Side note: I appreciated the quietness of your video (no talking) since so many other tool demo videos have annoyingly loud constant yammering and overly aggressive music. This was like a combination ASMR video and a power tool walk-through. I never imagined a power tool demonstration could be relaxing! Two thumbs up 😄

    The least amount of vibration in any orbital sander I have ever used.The dust collection bag is easy to remove and put back on-a turn to the right to remove,a turn to the left to put back on.I recommend this orbital sander to anyone whether pro or the average diy’er.

    Had mine for about a year. Used it on several good sized projects and I love it. Really gets the job done reasonably quick with unexpectedly little hand fatigue.m Well worth the price.

    I purchased a used one as the piece is a bit pricey, but the machine th-cam.com/users/postUgkxG6fbm3cHBd7CNTjk5D-dwYe9c9tCB9ZN has surpassed my expectations. We sand small parts by hand often, sized around 1"x1/2," and specifically look for a piece that's designed to be vertical. The motor has plenty of torque and great speed settings. The only inconvenience I had is that the disk measures 5" where we trim 6" stick-and-sand disks down easily by mounting it then cutting with a box cutter.

    The video title claimed that this would be a review. No opinion was offered as to your experience of using the tool. I don't get it.

    So your sandpaper works then. Didn’t really give any info about the sander. Does it stall out, vibrate a lot etc simply hasn’t been addressed. But I guess we know the dust collector partially works. Thanks.

    Hello, I am working on a sailboat restoration and wanted to hear your thoughts on sanding fiberglass with the Dewalt. I will be using 60 grit paper. I have about 4 hours run time with my batteries based on the specs. Thank you for your thoughts on this matter.

      He's not talking in his own review so don't hold your breath on "hearing" his thoughts.
      Stupidest "review". Thumbs down 👎

    could you tell me if the filter can be washed with running water? Or how can I clean it?

    • @woodworkingbarcelonaii9413
      @woodworkingbarcelonaii9413  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Patrizio. I clean it with pressurized air. It's clothing material so you can wash it with no problem, but I wouldn't do that because you need to let it dry before use it again.

    Why do you have it on setting 4 you should have it on setting 6 to get the highest amount of speed and torque.

    Better keep a extra pad sander/gripper pad on hand cause they don't last long. The foam backing falls apart. Poor design.
