JRC and other similar services are not only for special circumstances, but make any issues dealing with visas or other passport issues much easier to handle. Otherwise, one could find themselves running around trying to get everything they need or even traveling back and forth to Manila trying to handle those issues. The services are well worth the additional costs since it could save you so much more if you fall into one of those administration loops. Just make sure you get with one of these services well before your due date so you don't have to worry about getting booted from the country and get stuck with fines, as well as being restricted on when you could return. Dealing with your country passport might be a whole other problem though, so don't forget, if you need to renew your passport to do so well in advance. That should allow at least a few extra months to handle any of those problems that might pop up.

The foreigner needs to apply for a "Motion for Reconsideration" to get some extra time to apply for a different type of visa such as SRRV Retirement visa, 13a marriage vise, etc. If you apply before the 36 months the penalty is less than if you wait to apply. 15,000 pesos vs 25,000 pesos I think, plus other fees involved also. So how much is the cost too go over 36 months.
It depends on some specifics of your case Paul but it can run around $1000 USD or 50,000 pesos with the fine and updating/extending your visa.
@@AmazingPhilippines1 thanks Rod. Many expats 36 month visa will be running out this year.
Sir can i ask some question
You can have 2 cell services on 1 phone with 2 sims. It is good as some areas have better coverage with one carrier than the other.
Where is this office located?
They are in the Ultima tower, floor 2, next to Crowne Regency near Fuente Circle, Cebu City.
Can u advice me about motion of reconsideration
