The White Scars were a bit more significant in the Battle of Terra. They went around and completely ruined Heretic drop sites slowing reinforcements and its said that The Khan rode an overclocked Rhino into battle.
All I can picture is Jaghatai "General Lee'ing" around in battle in a tank now.

The key sign that things are going sideways was not Horus' turn to heresy, Angron running around breaking everything (or himself), or the uncomfortable number of Primarchs killing each other. It was when Jaghatai Khan took a step back and felt the need to say "can we all just stop for a minute, and take a second to collect our thoughts?"

Lion El'Jonson never had that problem in Caliban, so it's safe to assume Chogorian horses are cousins of Calibanite horses.

Reminder that GW made it idiotic to turn Kor'Sarro into a Primaris without presenting the Primaris with their versions of Bikers. Because Primaris Kor'Sarro CAN'T RIDE MOONDRAKKAR. HIS OWN BIKE. IN A BIKER-HEAVY AND SPEED OBSESSED MARINE CHAPTER.
They didn't get bikes as Troops or the Index bike units.

Well, for some reason Kor'Sarro never got a bike sadly for the model... and is one of the worst models to actually convert to a biker. :P
And then, suddenly GW started having that weird obsession, to make only rules for stuff having models. So he wasn't allowed to ride a bike. Obviously, that was only valid for around half an edition, and then Greyknights got their babycarrier as character option...
Primaris Bikers are finally a thing as of July 2020. Kor'sarro Khan may get a spruced up Raider Bike to call his own after all.

I remember how angry I was when the White Scars first came out. It was an army list printed in the White Dwarf as there was no codex yet. I was running a DA Ravenwing army at that time and suddenly the White Scars came out of nowhere and they had it all. Better bikes with none of the RW downsides, AND cheaper plus access to both dreadnoughts and rhinos. I really HATED Paul "Fat Bloke" Sawyer back then :P

Make some Alfa legion Lore, would be fun, nobody knows for real if the history of the Primarch is true, he has several contradicting origin histories, masters of unnecessary overcomplicated tactics knowbody knows from where the Alfa legion reclutes people, it’s range of influence I the imperium, knowbody knows if their two (or three) Primarchs are alive, or if they are loyalists or not, not being in the eye of terror.
Would be fun.
Alpha legion lore gets boring after 5 minutes of reading it (much the same way dark angels lore does) because their gimmick is "hahaha unreliable narrator you don't actually know what's going on" and once you know you know all their lore.
Still the best intro around mate. Always makes me smile.
Mongols and Chinese are, if not totally, really different races. As an Asian, it doesn't feel good to see Jhkahtai recognized as Chinese, who get used of being slaved and farming. Mongols are more suitable for 40k universe and more bad ass, for Christ sake

In all honesty the Emperor is Asian too. The white scars deserve no disrespect. They were on the walls of Terra at the end as one of the chapters with probably the least reason to stay loyal. They really are not given the lore and spotlight they deserve even though they are a fairly boring chapter.
