One thing you forgot to mention is that if you are buying the All Parks Passport its actually better to NOT buy your pass from Carowinds and to buy it from Canadas Wonderland instead. Due to the CAD USD exchange rate its cheaper and all your Canadas Wonderland addons (drink plan, all season dining, ect) will work at Carowinds as well
@AdamSmith-gs2dv, thank you adding that information. Since we are from NC and have never used the multi park passes, and never been to Canada this is something we were unaware of. I’m glad you mentioned it for others who may ready the comments looking for updates and more information.
@@adventuresstartshere I have Kings Island and Carowinds the exact same distance away from me so it made sense to get the passport so I can go to both and make a trip up to Cedar Point for Top Thrill 2. What's funny is the Kings Island 2024 drink plan isn't active until 2024 but if you buy a Canadas Wonderland pass with the passport your drink plan WILL work this season at Kings Island! Extremely odd and IDK why Kings Island and Cedar Point did that
Ive been going for years. Before 2020 the fast pass was worth it but idt its worth it now. If the waterpark had fast lanes for the fast pass id definitely say its worth it. Gold pass with drink plus for the icee is all you need. Then when you get hungry just leave and go eat at a fast food restaurant or bring a cooler and eat in the car.
Hey Zeek, thanks for watching the videos and sharing your insights. We use to do that, get season passes and leave and go to CiCi’s pizza down the road. We are just giving our prospective and sharing out experiences to try to help others. Again thank you leaving a comment! We hope you will consider joining our community!
Thank you this is so helpful- just want to clarify backpacks allowed at all or just for scarowinds? Are you allowed to bring snacks - I have a toddler who is not a big eater but will snack all day
So to my knowledge during the rest of the year you can bring a backpack. Scrowinds didn’t allow any backpacks. I don’t have first hand knowledge about snacks as we haven’t been to the park and brought food. We have however had a picnic at our car since you are allowed to go in and out. I wish I had more information on your specific situation. I hope this helps in some way! Enjoy your time At Carowinds!
Do they also restrict bags at Winterfest? We are considering the season pass as something to do since our local pool is closed this season. It is a 2.5 hour drive each way for us. We have not visited Carawinds since I was a little kid. We have been to WDW a few times and Universal. I am concerned about the bag/locker situation. WDW you can bring your bag on almost every ride. Universal provides short term free lockers at the ride. If I have to pay for a locker at every ride that could get expensive. Also, we had planned to do the water park during the day, change, and then the amusment park in the evening, but I don't know if we have any swimsuits that are compliant. Do underwires count? Do they have all these restrictions posted somewhere on their website? Also, do the food and drink locations in the water park accept the season pass?
Hey @joykinser3444 thanks for the questions! So on MOST rides you do have to rent a locker. There are a few rides that as of 2022 ( our last time in the park) still had a ride station storage for personal items. You are right it can get very expensive! The underwire question is a good one. I think it was more visible metal: zippers, clasps, rivets. The website is unfortunately not very detailed about what is or isn’t excepted. They DO state no metal, which I wish we would have seen/ researched prior to going. Also known if it’s plastic that looks like metal they will not let you on which was the case for us. As far as drink and food for Christmas the answer is YES! Your season food and drink pass is good for any visit during the season. Normal days, scrowinds, winterfest. Some of the best food we tried was at winterfest!!! Pay attention to the pice of the items your buying. If it’s under $5 pay cash don’t waste your food pass when you could use that same pass on $15 meal. I really hope this helps! Please join our community if you haven’t already! Best regards: Bruce
Thanks for the question. I think there is a time where they allow you the rest of the season and the following one. But you would need to look at the website for that information because I’m not sure when that starts.

Hello. Question. With the season passes. If I purchase one in September. Is it only good for the rest of that year or to September of next year?
Thanks for the question. I think there is a time where they allow you the rest of the season and the following one. But you would need to look at the website for that information because I’m not sure when that starts.
It's the rest of 2023 and all of 2024. That goes for all Cedar Fair passes
Kool
Thanks, this helps!
