Octavo disco de la banda alemana de "hard rock" Lucifer's Friend, realizado en 1.981 y que contó con el regreso del vocalista John Lawton. Tras varios álbumes de poco éxito comercial, el grupo decidió retornar a sus raíces practicando un "heavy metal" acorde a la nueva década de los '80:

John Lawton is a great underrated singer.and he’s better then alot of singers out there. Lucifer’s Friend is a great underrated band.

Fire and Rain, that’s a tune. Reminds me of early Whitesnake. That intro and chorus is straight out of their playbook. Love it. Lucifer’s Friend were a great band. Enjoyed Sumo Grip as well. Worth checking out.

I was looking for the awesome Lucifer Was, then I discovered Lucifer's Friend. My 6 yr old daughter immediately started head banging and air singing. Fantastic!

I am more familiar with them as well, but I started t enquire more on this German band, after learning they bcm more rock orientated in their following career
A pretty tight outfit indeed, very distinguishable from the rest, if I my they were produced /promoted in the UK, hell they would have made it on top 10 easily

Anybody else think John Lawton sounds a bit like Dio with a bit more smoothness? Dope vocalist.

No one sings like Dio. However that doesn’t mean John Lawton is an average singer. He is great. I do believe no one should cover anything Dio did because it is virtually impossible to sing like that.

Incredible, how the sound changed since the early days. And I must say, there's nothing I enjoy, of this style and era of hard rock. Shame they gave up most of their peculiarities back then, for commercial' sake I guess. Thank you all the same for this upload.
