Just a personal opinion, Rayearth should have debuted in X since the main character was fantasy based. They could have thrown in Escaflowne for good measure also since it was in a SRW for Wonderswan before.
@@Sandact6 Actually it wasn't CLAMP. But Banpresto/Bamco thought that Rayearth's plot structure did not let it pass the requirements to be in an SRW. But now, after X-Omega, Rayearth passed the lowered requirement (and now, we can also get Devilman into SRW because of it). Why they chose to delay until T is their strategy, I guess they recognized that Wataru is pretty big in the Chinese region and don't want both of them to hog the spotlight together (which will cause spotlight pacing problem). But bottom line, we still don't know CLAMP's stand on it. Maybe they did want Rayearth in since days old, but was told by Banpresto they didn't pass (and they didn't pull a Hideaki Anno with Evangelion back then)
@@ChrisX_212 I think they are starting to expand the SRW franchise into an international franchise. Ever since they started releasing the games in English they've added shows that are pretty popular abroad. Wataru for the Chinese, MKR for S.E. Asia and Bebop for the west.

I was going to change Magic Knights theme to original vocal one, but after hearing this .. i don't know why it kicks me with nostalgia even more than the original one, so i stay with this.
Being honest i didn't even know Rayearth existed. My gf told me about it (and she was thrilled about them being included. At the time i didn't see what all the fuss was about (and i was to excited by all the returning bad asses) . However after playing through most of the game i can so whole heartedly that all 3 of the girls are great to have around (especially with Hikaru fangirling over everything and being generally positive). Hope this isn't the only time they are in SRW they are worthy additions.
I'd love to see "Kanata Kara" here. I loved the song ever since I heard it in SRW V, but didn't know the name until now. It's in the in-game sound collection. It's played like once per game at best, and it's amazing, yet I haven't found it anywhere here yet. Great wrong, that. Listening to it through the game is doable, I guess, but frustratingly difficult at times.
With the very very small chance of Trails of Cold Steel getting into Super Robot Wars, Rayearth better appear alongside it. Their plots and lores work so incredibly well together. We could even adapt the original manga storyline of Rayearth to give more leeway to tie it better to Trails lore.
Look what happened to CCSakura (whole season and Clear) they streaming it and I hope they get it original Magic aknight Rayearth series not make it live-action!

@@justinrolandmalangen4243 Probably because SRW has been experimenting with more non-mecha anime on a consistent basis lately. I mean, for most of the original series the girls were just on foot and the Rune Gods weren't as focused on until the neighboring worlds arc went into focus.

Sadly, SRW 30 didn't deliver in that regard considering only Mika, Orga, Shino, Akihiko, Kudelia, McGillis and Atra made it in. (All I can say is *bleep* you Carta, and *BLEEP* you Gjallahorn!)
