Another delightful tour. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to some interesting information . I’m glad you treated yourself . I do too . Every birthday is the beginning of a personal New Year . Wishing you good health , prosperity and happiness for the year ahead .❤
Happy birthday - a bit late! Good on you! How better to celebrate your own birthday than doing what you love most! Loved the bit on grasses and the scented shrubs.
It’s a great nursery; I’ve bought from them at a number of the shows (Bloom, Claregalway, etc…) and they always have a great and unusual plant selection
I absolutely agree. I always look out for the Kilmurry stand at plant shows - they will also have great things. And they change over the year too. I visited several shows this year and each time Kilmurry had some other delights to tempt me with.
What a very knowledgeable young lady. Around these parts, you go to a nursery and the employees might know what is in stock but they don't really know much about the plants. Glad she could share so your viewers can get some late season ideas for their own garden.
That's a shame, Michael. In Ireland you might find that scenario at garden centres, where staff don't know about growing plants. However, there are some great garden centres too, with knowledgeable staff. At a nursery, however, everyone is much more knowledgeable.
Hello Rachel and Happy Belated Birthday!! I hope you enjoyed your special day and what beauties the nursery has. Can't wait to see what the border looks like when you plant them.
Ooh, how fabulous to have this amazing nursery on your doorstep! I wish I lived in The Republic. I can't even order plants from the nursery as I'm in England 😞. Did you buy anything else besides Rudbeckia Goldsturm? I have a large patch of that in my garden. I go it along with a purple aster, and some Pennisetum grass,( sadly I do not know the varieties, but they make a beautiful trio. Happy gardening 🙂 x
Yes, I am indeed very luck to have such a great nursery close by. It's always a treat to visit. At the end of the video you can see the plants I bought 😉

Thank you, Wanda. Yes, I had a great birthday. I can't wait to have a proper go at that border in autumn. Several plants have their cards marked 😅
😂
What a wonderful nursery. Hazel explains it so well, I could listen to her talk about plants for a lot longer 😅
Yeah, Hazel is very knowledgeable and a great communicator. I am glad you feel the same way. I too could listen to her for ages.

Rudbeckia didn`t come back for me....:(
Was it 'Goldsturm'? Could it have been an annual redbeckia?
@@GardeningatDouentza Thank you for replying! ..I`m really not sure what variety it was...maybe it was an annual then, but TY!
