Why does religion often compel its followers to cast negativity on every aspect of human traditions and customs? There’s no doubt that Nagaland is flourishing with preachers, pastors, youth religious leaders, and even soothsayers-but many seem to focus solely on the dark side of others’ lives. To my understanding, the Hornbill Festival isn’t about Christianity; it’s about celebrating how our ancestors survived, gathered food, sowed crops, and fought wars to establish the villages we live in today. Let the Hornbill Festival remain what it is-a tribute to our heritage. Religious people should concentrate on guiding lost souls instead of fixating on others’ perceived faults...wake up pastors and preachers... REMEMBER even Jesus turned water into wine.. ✌️

From my part , I feel hornbill festival is also needed in Nagaland where peoples gathered together n know da tradition n culture of Nagas, we should not always compare to religion,
Culture is an integral part of our identity, whether we acknowledge it or not. It defines who we are, where we come from, and what makes us unique. However, it is paradoxical when people oppose the preservation and practice of cultural traditions while still embracing cultural attire and celebrating cultural events. This contradiction raises important questions about authenticity and respect for one’s heritage. Belonging to a tribe with unique customs and practices does not make one ungodly or unacceptable in the eyes of God. It is not our cultural expressions that define our righteousness but the integrity and intentions with which we live our lives. Promoting and preserving our culture and identity is not inherently ungodly; on the contrary, it can serve as a form of gratitude and respect for the blessings of diversity bestowed upon humanity. That said, it is concerning when festivals, meant to celebrate our traditions, are misused as opportunities for shameful or inappropriate behavior, especially among the youth. Such actions tarnish the sanctity of these celebrations and detract from their true purpose. It is imperative to address this issue through education, stricter regulations, and community involvement to uphold the dignity of our cultural practices. Preserving and practicing culture is not just about safeguarding traditions-it is about fostering unity, understanding, and pride in who we are. By celebrating our culture responsibly, we honor our past while paving the way for a stronger, more respectful future.
Religious fanatics just can't bear to see everyday Naga folks happy and gay in their attire and for culture.. There have been many sundays that have come and will come, prayed , serviced and sang songs and worshipped. The hornibll is only a one time event in a year. There is a time to celebrate and a time to worship.
True but please don't involve religion with social activist in life ✋😑 Nagaland for Christ koile We won't celebrate and live life as the world goes? I'm so sorry but even Nagaland Christians are also trying to manipulate its believers
Why don’t the churches of Nagaland group up take this opportunity to send ministers of God and reach out to the people. Organise outreaches, pray for them and take the opportunity to save souls . I think this is a good opportunity for the body of Christ to expand and be the light and go to the darkest of places . Because light shines brightest when there is darkness. Maybe some people might disagree on me with this but I think it’s a good opportunity for the body of Christ to step up . As the word also says what the enemy meant for evil God will turn it for good . So we the body of Christ should take this as an opportunity and step up
I respectfully disagree with your point of view. The Hornbill Festival is a celebration of our rich cultural heritage showcasing our traditions to the wrld. It's not an awakening program, n the organizers is not using God's name in any form.We shouldn't bring God into evry aspect of our lives. This festival isn't a sin, as I've seen many families nd friends come together in joy and celebration. I'm sure God wouldn't be against it either. As true believers, we should pray for others instead of judging thm. Let's encourage and guide thm on the right path rather thn constantly warning thm abt their sin.. I hpe you understand my perspective. I'm nt here to defend or disrespect anyone, but to share my thoughts.
This was the vision given to the nagas by a great Reverend saying that nagas will begin to worship a bird in the future generations and that vision is what we are facing through right now
Naga people will say this n that if we lacking behind othere state festivals And again' naga people will complain if its good or doing better.. Lets just appreciate the opportunity given to organizing community of the HORNBILL.. The world is getting to know nagaland through this festival rich culture display. Our tradition drink etc We cannot stop people from doing sin Morden world ..morden way to display our culture its just we should not loss our identity as a naga.. I appreciate ur speech pastor ❤ Lets just understand hornbill is not a whole year festive just 10 days in 365 days. And we need to flow with generation we need to upgrade Lets just admitted with the flow of generation .we cannot attract the outsiders...
2 Timothy 3:16 ESV All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. There is always correction in the Lord which led to righteous living. Thank you for sharing Pastor 🙏
That's clearly not the point Clearly as a Christian state and believers of Christ we should always put God first in everything.. The organisers or anyone included would not lose anything instead blessing hai pawo! God has bigger plans for us so why not embrace our Christ and worship him wherever it is possible not a single penny or time will be gone into waste
Nagaland Government can spend 100 crores to renovate Kisama Heritage but can't find a proper way to enhance better job opportunities for youths. Just check out Meghalaya Government they are on the way of constructing IT park which is almost to be completed to tackle unemployment issue and help their youths, so they don't go outside and suffer: rather give opportunity from home. Coming back to our home we are spending all the resources in merry making. Things need to be set right.
That's true brother but we as a whole need to change and not just the Nagaland Government. It's a democratic country and the public will settle for some few thousand rupees to vote for the same corrupted leaders instead of true leaders (if there is any)
True said Dear Brother in Christ! For Everything on earth we are going to lose. Fun/Fame/Properties/Ego/Pride/Money/Culture/Tradition/Wisdom/Knowledge/etc. But our very SOUL is permanent it can never be destroyed however we are the one to decide where to go - Eternal Fire or Enternal Peace and Joy? And we do not know when our last hour will be it doesn’t meant we do not need those things in life… but we shouldn’t prioritise all these above our God our creator.
Do not make any conspiracy theories against Hornbill festival... I'm a Christian too but Sorry to say that this festival is about showing and enjoying the culture and tradition of Nagaland so you must understand that... And also this festival starts with prayer and it will end with prayers remember this... Sorry if my sentence makes any crime to you bro but again I will say that this is our traditional festival and also we are enriching our festival of Nagaland through tradition and prayer... So bro please don't make any controversy video.. enjoy the festival with prayer bro... Please correct me if I am wrong 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You are right brother but there is time for everything there is time to prase and worship God and there is time to enjoy However some people they abuse the time and go in the wrong track so that's the problem... However brother I totally agree with your points and I Fully support you...God bless you brother❤❤
If we believe the Hornbill Festival is sinful, we should stop visiting it. We should not place all the blame on the organizers, as attending the festival is also sinful if we think it is not acceptable before God. After coming back from hornbill festival don't support here.
Compromising faith? I wanna hear more regarding on this ! What is the relationship between faith and Hornbill festival? Im uneducated i would love to hear from you, Please be specific and be certain regarding faith and hornbill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!☺️
Yeh what you said is right for you, We go for hornbill for festival not for worshiping hornbill, yeh it attracts many foreigners but it does mean we are doing sins, even if we do good or bad its up to us going to church doesn't mean you are good, if its bad for you dont go thats up to you, i have seen many of naga people whose prayers are powerful as fire but got black heart inside. Praying for 20,30 hours is useless if you dont pray with your heart, short and hours of praying is the same if pray with your heart I know why many pastors are against hornbill its because majority of our naga are onto hornbill more than Christmas, i know some are good but no one from our naga pastor are not even worthy of seeing God face i knew some will enter heaven with no one is worthy of seeing god face. Those pastors who are against hornbill have black hearts too did jesus ever teach you to say things about others festivals?? Sorry my english is not good.
Tis is not a spiritual awakening programme 🤦🤦Tis is te festival of joy plus showing our rich cultural to te world. So do not take everything negativity.
Looks like the sunday service was quite successful. Maybe we ought to have a positive outlook at things rather than quickly assuming how things will happen negatively. The service went on for 2 hours. Huge crowd, great opportunity to penetrate the gospel to non-believers from outside. So many souls are at lost and the goal is to save them. We should focus more on saving souls rather than threatening people with the Gospel, that’s not the way. We believers should tone down the habit of Gospel threatening. May God have mercy on us.
Hello I have no idea what you are talking about for one hour or something like that... please clarify what you want to say, because the video is only 4:25 minutes so i didn't get the core of the message or sermon.? Thank you
What u r saying is very true. .... but dont take everything into negative.... people r just trying to promote our rich cultural to the world.... depicting how ur n my forefathers lived with these rich n humble cultural ..... in fact it is a very big n good platform for u to proclaim the GOOD NEWS to the world.... its is the right time for u to do ministry instead of spreading negativity in a wrong platform..... so wat r u waiting for ! Get up n go proclaim the good new to the world... all the best!
If we are celebrating with Christan principal nothing is wrong......Participating in the Hornbill Festival, as a Christian, cannot be considered pagan worship. Rather, it's an opportunity to appreciate and respect the cultural heritage of the Naga people, while also being mindful of our Christian values and principles. As the Bible says, "Give honor to whom honor is due" (Romans 13:7). By participating in the festival, we can show respect and appreciation for the Naga culture, while also being mindful of our Christian faith. Additionally, 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." As Christians, we can participate in the festival in a way that honors God and respects the Naga culture. Nevertheless, our goal is to be ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20), sharing God's love and message of hope with others, while also being respectful of their culture and traditions.....Sharing love and kindness with others, regardless of their cultural or religious background, is a fundamental aspect of the Christian faith. As 1 Corinthians 13:13 says, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." So Sharing love and kindness with others is not pagan, but rather a reflection of God's love and character.....Christian principal matters untill n unless we are like those Baal and Ashtoreth worshipers.... So its always good to think critically, but not with our own intellectual and thoughts....Book of Epistles teach us all, lets bring change in a positive way not by hurting sentiment of others. Gospel is to be shared with positivity not by force.
Don’t bring religion everywhere, we are celebrating vibrant diversity of our culture and showcasing it why have problems everywhere If you want to pinpoint negativity then there is everywhere even in the church

Hardworking men and women are working hard to survive, entrepreneurship, earning at hornbill...Always NEGATIVITY filled among you people. There is also LIGHT in all these.
@@toshivirgongullie1831couldn't agree more.. let's pray for his soul bro ,the least we can do😢
From my part , I feel hornbill festival is also needed in Nagaland where peoples gathered together n know da tradition n culture of Nagas, we should not always compare to religion,
Nagaland leaders are worshiping hornbill through this so called Hornbill festival
Its Hornbill International Festival not a church festival
That's what he just said
Another brainwashed peep! Listen carefully to what the video is trying to convey to the people out there
Very true pastor god bless you long life
Culture is an integral part of our identity, whether we acknowledge it or not.
So true and great message Sir. This is the reason that our society is getting worse and worse day by day.
A TRUE servant of God is against of hornbill festival.
Friends what he is actually saying i dont understand the language ,, can anyone tell us in english,, it seems about God , i wanna know what he says??
@Legend-x8v Anything we do , we must do it for the glory of God.
According to prophet achumkodyuo?
So you get to decide who is a true servant of God?
@@touchmesama2590 did I said that . I am a sinner . Not a holy person like u .
💯 TRUE nagas are digging their gravard may god give right wisdom to us praise the Lord amen 🙏
God Loves You Pastor ! Keep doing the works of (the) TRUTH .
Thank you for speaking the truth...
God bless you in His ministry.
Culture is more important than religion ❤
True but please don't involve religion with social activist in life ✋😑
Nagaland for Christ koile We won't celebrate and live life as the world goes? I'm so sorry but even Nagaland Christians are also trying to manipulate its believers
Glory 🙌 to God alone 🙏
A man with 🔥.
Needed this hour, to stand for Christ ❤
Why don’t the churches of Nagaland group up take this opportunity to send ministers of God and reach out to the people. Organise outreaches, pray for them and take the opportunity to save souls . I think this is a good opportunity for the body of Christ to expand and be the light and go to the darkest of places . Because light shines brightest when there is darkness.
Maybe some people might disagree on me with this but I think it’s a good opportunity for the body of Christ to step up .
As the word also says what the enemy meant for evil God will turn it for good . So we the body of Christ should take this as an opportunity and step up
Good point.
Yes exactly .... I was thinking the same ....🫂
You are on point brother. You have struck the nail on the head. 💯
Unfortunately not many may appreciate fhe message.
Dear brother thank you for sharing God words. May God bless you. Amen.
The thing is as a true Christian, We SHOULD BRING God in every aspect of our lives.
Exactly.... Celebrating and worshipping is different..
This was the vision given to the nagas by a great Reverend saying that nagas will begin to worship a bird in the future generations and that vision is what we are facing through right now
Strong message. Praise the Lord.
Naga people will say this n that if we lacking behind othere state festivals
And again' naga people will complain if its good or doing better..
Lets just appreciate the opportunity given to organizing community of the HORNBILL..
The world is getting to know nagaland through this festival rich culture display. Our tradition drink etc
We cannot stop people from doing sin
Morden world ..morden way to display our culture its just we should not loss our identity as a naga..
I appreciate ur speech pastor
❤
Lets just understand hornbill is not a whole year festive just 10 days in 365 days.
And we need to flow with generation we need to upgrade
Lets just admitted with the flow of generation .we cannot attract the outsiders...
Very True...Bro...Praise the Lord...Hallelujah !!!
2 Timothy 3:16 ESV
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
There is always correction in the Lord which led to righteous living.
Thank you for sharing Pastor 🙏
You want praise and worship team to sing 5 hrs a day?
Shut up
😂😂
That's clearly not the point
Clearly as a Christian state and believers of Christ we should always put God first in everything.. The organisers or anyone included would not lose anything instead blessing hai pawo!
God has bigger plans for us so why not embrace our Christ and worship him wherever it is possible not a single penny or time will be gone into waste
Jealousy everywhere Nagas wake up instead we should be proud that people from all over are coming to know about Nagaland
Correct 💯
If God said I don't know who is Nagaland. Then, don't worry people around the world will know us. Isn't????????
That's very true moi laga heart laga khota kuriteshi TQ so much
Nagaland Government can spend 100 crores to renovate Kisama Heritage but can't find a proper way to enhance better job opportunities for youths.
It's a democratic country and the public will settle for some few thousand rupees to vote for the same corrupted leaders instead of true leaders (if there is any)
Well said brother❤I support you .
I'm not going against God I'm also Christian from lotha tribe.... hornbill is our main fastival our culture. Yes I believe God but not human 👍
And we do not know when our last hour will be
it doesn’t meant we do not need those things in life… but we shouldn’t prioritise all these above our God our creator.
The last part was well said🙌
Very bold messages!
I agreed with you brother.
We can play a games for whole night but we can't even praise him for 1 hour 😢atleast. In a day
Now i know the reason behind yearly landslides and casualties along our national highway.
Third generation convert is saying a century of Christianity converts is better than the thousand years old tribal traditions
Hosa ase ho pastor God bless you Amen 🙏👍

PRAISE THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY JESUS CHRIST
AMEN...
HALLELUJAH
So true. We don't encourage this festival.

If we believe the Hornbill Festival is sinful, we should stop visiting it. We should not place all the blame on the organizers, as attending the festival is also sinful if we think it is not acceptable before God.
After coming back from hornbill festival don't support here.
Hosa ase. Thank you Sir. May God bless you.
Hosa ase Jesus Christ is king of king Amen 🙏✝️👑
Good message, God bless you
New subscriber here, for your boldness for our Lord Jesus Christ!!❤✌️
Compromising faith?
I wanna hear more regarding on this !
What is the relationship between faith and Hornbill festival?
Im uneducated i would love to hear from you, Please be specific and be certain regarding faith and hornbill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!☺️
Hosa ase sir👍praise the Lord🙏
Yeh what you said is right for you, We go for hornbill for festival not for worshiping hornbill, yeh it attracts many foreigners but it does mean we are doing sins, even if we do good or bad its up to us going to church doesn't mean you are good, if its bad for you dont go thats up to you, i have seen many of naga people whose prayers are powerful as fire but got black heart inside.
Praying for 20,30 hours is useless if you dont pray with your heart, short and hours of praying is the same if pray with your heart
I know why many pastors are against hornbill its because majority of our naga are onto hornbill more than Christmas, i know some are good but no one from our naga pastor are not even worthy of seeing God face i knew some will enter heaven with no one is worthy of seeing god face.
Pastor ase koi but negativity promote kuri ase yete. Thui
What he is saying is true tho
Looks like the sunday service was quite successful.
Maybe we ought to have a positive outlook at things rather than quickly assuming how things will happen negatively.
The service went on for 2 hours. Huge crowd, great opportunity to penetrate the gospel to non-believers from outside. So many souls are at lost and the goal is to save them.
We should focus more on saving souls rather than threatening people with the Gospel, that’s not the way.
We believers should tone down the habit of Gospel threatening. May God have mercy on us.
Let hornbill festival give going but let worship be involved in it.
Praise the lord Amen Hosa ase ho pastor❤❤❤
That's truth praise the Lord brother.
Hello
I have no idea what you are talking about for one hour or something like that... please clarify what you want to say, because the video is only 4:25 minutes so i didn't get the core of the message or sermon.? Thank you
Very true what said so many people flows there for some sinful acts which is against God teaching.
Very true🙏🏻
What u r saying is very true. .... but dont take everything into negative.... people r just trying to promote our rich cultural to the world.... depicting how ur n my forefathers lived with these rich n humble cultural ..... in fact it is a very big n good platform for u to proclaim the GOOD NEWS to the world.... its is the right time for u to do ministry instead of spreading negativity in a wrong platform..... so wat r u waiting for ! Get up n go proclaim the good new to the world... all the best!
I agree that this festival is not good for our spiritual life.
Gospel is to be shared with positivity not by force.
hosha ase❤👍
Very true... I pray all Nagas will turn to God once again.
I'm also confused when men of God are also being invited to invoke God's blessings. Can someone please enlighten me?😢
