For me personally only Jimmy Page is a true rock legend and music genious in comparison two other two guitarist.. Zepp music shall live till the end of time.. Thank s Mark for sharing this to us Mica 🙂🐕🐾🌻
@@TheTVSportsBlimp I like the White Stripes and U2 but Page is another level above those two guitar players, thinking of guitarists that were alive at the time and that 'generational' idea, if you'd had say: Jimmy Page-Eddie Van Halen-John Frusciante - to me, that would have been players of equal stature. That would be even more interesting as a film and you would have had guitarists that were very influential too across 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s.
Hands down, Led Zeppelin is the band, they are the bar that all others are compared to, but there are many niches of rock, it’s genres inside of genres and both jack white and the edge are genius’s in their own style. I had the privilege of seeing Zeppelin live twice and those concerts are some of my most cherished memories, but I certainly wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to see the white stripes or the edge live. I lost interest in U2 when their music started leaning more into political statements, but the band has earned their place as rock stars.
What a great interview. I loved this film and wish an extended version would be released. One can only imagine the magic that happened between these fine musicians that was cut from the documentary.
As a 4+ decades old guitarist I can say I honestly respect all 3 musicians and know them all well and have their albums but as far as leaving a mark on music and being who lead me to play guitar and listen to all their albums over and over and study his music and techniques along with memories of what was past and present when listening to their music and even to this day owning his signature guitars… Led Zeppelin (Jimmy Page) is just a genius and like Pink Floyd it took all of them to be the band we know but they will even when gone will always leave a mark and a bar set so high like the Beatles before them that his name and Zeppelin will never be forgotten! No matter what generation you are and what’s the come ..it all starts from somewhere. Hope they all keep rocking but Jimmy Page is my hero🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻
I think a lot of people misunderstand the point in this movie, it’s not about who’s best but about the approach, and it’s obvious that they all understand that.
I like anything Jack White does, especially with the Raconteurs,so good and so different . Let’s definitely not underestimate him as a musician. The Edge as well. And we all know about Jimmy.
What surprised me about this press conference was that Jack White is quite bright and fascinating. When he said he grew up in a Mexican neighborhood in South Detroit, his style of dress made a whole lot more sense to me. With Jimmy, I've always thought he can talk when he wants too. Usually, he's around Robert, who usually does most of the talking 🤣🤣And no one really cared about The Edge. The funny thing is that two of these guys, Jimmy Page and The Edge, are guitarists for two of my top three favorite bands. I haven't seen this documentary yet and really would love to sometime if I can get my hands on it.
aaaaand thats how you end an interview....ask the awkward question you know he doesnt want to deal with. plus asking to name names of new guys...silence...jimmy thinking todays music is utter shit....excellent overall.
Jack White plays guitars ranging from almost firewood to brand spanking new. He challenges himself to play an instrument that most of us would just discard, and pulls every bit of sound out of it. He is the modern Edge and Page and also has their respect. I personally would refrain from knocking any musician’s talent and would be in awe if I were lucky enough to learn from any of the three. I had the privilege of seeing all three in concert (Page while in Zeppelin and his Outlander tour, Edge of course U2 Joshua Tree tour, and White in the early stage of The White Stripes).
Page is the ultimate , everyone else and I mean everyone is way below 🫡💃🎉 but I love the Edge and Jack they are awesome and way above me. This movie was fantastic.

You hate the other two musicians?

Agree
Agreed…additionally, White thought people wanted to hear his political opinions. Shut up and play…as they say.

Me too, my man! Jimmy Page is my musical idol, without a doubt

I would love to see Jimmy as Batman:) Jack White is really funny. Thank you, Mark :)
Jimmy Page is my favorite but I actually like all three musicians and think they’re great. Also wish White Stripes would reform. So there you go!
Never saw this. Thanks. There is a bonus song on " It Might Get Loud" dvd
Jimmy is majestic❤ always forever

Love the Raconteurs! Pretty much anything he touches is gold.

"Rambling On" LOL, he might as well had said, "when I saw Jimmy playing 'scrambling one'..."

For Jimmy: What is the name of the kid in school who taught you your first chords? Does he know who he is to you?
Let's face thay could do this just on Jimmy page alone.....HE A ROCK GOD!!!!!!
HAMMER THE GODS!
Jack my favourite
I have a feeling that the last question was asked, reluctantly, because the fellow's employer told him to.
im interested in Jimmy but these other two guys do nothing for me
Your loss.
wow
So Canadian to celebrate the back story of a so so documentary
I wish they had replaced the Edge in favor of Mr. EVH
Then it would have been magical! 🎸

The media is just pathetic
One of these is way out of place.
What a joke putting jack white
You have no taste.

The Edge stinks.
They filmed " Inconvenient Truth"????. Weren't we all supposed to be dead and under water by now, 2023???
