- Inside the CRAZIEST Neighborhood in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In this video we will be walking around the Farm Gate area of the city, a place where I was told by the hotel staff to avoid especially as a tourist. However, I felt extremely comfortable there and I think this part of the city made for a great shopping experience and fun video. I hope you enjoy this one!

Please go coxs Bazar
In Bangladesh street vendors doesn’t speak English. Also they have difficulty of understanding if speak fluent. Thanks for supporting Bangladesh buying deshi garments. 😊
Thanks so much!
Where are you watching from!
I don’t understand why he can’t just use google translate
@@Travelwithchris I’m watching you from New York. But I’m from Bangladesh. My city is Kamalapur In Dhaka. The biggest railway station in Dhaka and South Asia as well. Kamalapur also next to City Motijheel. The business district of Bangladesh
@@Travelwithchris I wish I would’ve known that you were coming Bangladesh.
Unlike any other vloggers you are the most kindest one on earth.
Thank you so much ❤️
100% I'm glad you love bangladesh I'm also going bangladesh in 2 months
I think that’s why I like his videos because he’s friendly
i love the people there. they are all smiling and interested yet theyre not pushy and aggressive. the hospitality and honesty is so nice to see , especially after the egypt series. that just got to be too much too fast.
That part of the city is so lively! Watching this brings me back!
You're so down to earth person Chris! ❤🎉 Have been watching your videos from Bangladesh. Those are really great. Wish I could guide you through your journey in Bangladesh. :)
Also, I would recommend to go outside of Dhaka to explore the real Bangladesh. Places like:
- Sylhet
- Cox's Bazar
- Sajek
- Barisal floating market.
Those will be some exiting contenet for your channel. Also, I would recommend to make your banner more exciting, like adding Bangladesh flag, big texts. Those will also help to increase the views.
Thank you so much!
You should go real village life
Love you spreading the love round the world. It’s the kinda content needed for some escapism so thank you Chris! Ooh yeah, we have paan too, it can be a bit wild!
You and Kurt Caz are in the same area and you would think you’re in 2 completely different places based on the vibe. Keep up the great work brother
Your a good man Chris. I had a massive smile watching the young vendor eat the desert you got him. You could see he was very grateful for it. Take it easy mate
You have a very kind heart Chris
He really goes out of his way
Welcome to Bangladesh Chris. We are honored to get a kind hearted guest like you ❤
I started watching you since Egypt and I was so happy you reached 400k! congrats! but I'm even happier you've reached 401k !!!
I have never been to Bangladesh. Chris, you are the best guide around. The locals loves your hospitality.!
Your videos are great and really informative, you're a natural born leader and people's person. Thank you Brother for really put yourself out there in foreign lands and people. Stay safe and keep up the great work In Sha Allah, you're doing so well! Much love from London, UK.
One of the most wholesome travel channels I’ve come across, genuinely appreciate ur open mindedness Chris. Hope u enjoyed Dhaka 🙌🏼
Great job, Chris! Very friendly!
TH-cam recommended your video and I was hooked because of your roaming style, generosity and hospitality. You are a very nice guy. I also like to roam on foot and explore the neighborhood. I was watching your videos and thinking that you need a local guide and in this you asked for it. I don't know if you are still here in Bangladesh or not but if you are here let's do it. I am free right now and we can hang out and I can help you around this city or even this country. This country has a lot to explore. It's very raw beautiful. Let me know what you think about it. And also Welcome To Bangladesh. I hope you get the best travel experience in Bangladesh. Have a nice day.
I just back from Bangladesh to London.I really appreciate it you helping people from your heart. You buy stuff for people.really kind of you. That’s why I’m subscribing your channel
Wow so intense! Such an interesting place. You have such a kind heart.
Brother take this as a compliment, You look like Bangladeshi, so people get confused when you speak just English. Most of them don't understand you in the first place 😅.
Good luck and welcome
🎉Congratulations on reaching 400K subscribers Chris! 👏 So proud of you & I love your content!
Chris Bro., the interaction and love you show to people is enormous, which give smile on their faces. ❤ 😊
You are such a generous person..love your way of presenting different things..❤
love the approach to a new country- not like the other vloggers. Love you showing Bangladesh as is.
Kudos to you that you stayed in Dhaka for several days. Even being a Bangladeshi I can't imagine staying in Dhaka even for more than a day. I'm in Sylhet, and consider myself lucky. And I feel for the people who need to live in Dhaka for their job, they're hardworking people.
Bro you are so naive 😅. But so polite and nice. You are willing to try everything and talking to everyone like you know them. You are awesome! I love how you invite in the people around you. Hopefully you will have an incredible experience while you are in Bangladesh.
Btw. Not sure if anyone corrected you on the lentil soup you had... it's called Haleem.
Mr. Chris:Congratulations to you for your amazing new 2nd remarkable videos this weekend from Dhaka, Bangladesh to shows these amazing places on the streets in 2024❤❤❤
You are so humble person brother ❤
I am a British Bangladeshi, living in Canada and father of an American citizen . If that makes any sense ! I was brought up near Farm Gate ! Left Bangladesh in early 90s. During the 70s as a child my dad used to take to Farm Gate area for some fresh air and to buy fruits in late afternoon . You should Google for old photos of the area.
After this one, I’m so glad to call you brother. The love and respect you gave them was incredible. Freakin Hoooah! 400k!!!! 🍻 💨 Next stop, 500k!! I’ll be your tour guide on Fremont St. 😂😂
Bro u r so kind hearted.. Good bless u for every steps..
Thank you so much 😀
Ameen
So proud to see my countrymen in my hometown not taking advantage of tourists. Their English skills might be negligible but they were welcoming and respectful. Way to go 🇧🇩❤️
Bangladesh looks amazing - thanks for sharing!
You are just so kind Chris, take love from Bangladesh man ❣️
LOVE THE WAY YOU HELPING PEOPLE
I would really meet you if I were in Bangladesh right now! But unfortunately I am not there! I liked your way of thinking about others perspective! You are a good person! I hope you will enjoy your time in Bangladesh! 😊
Chris you are a good person and it shows. That’s why we love to watch you.
If ever you decide to come to Melbourne Australia, we would love to welcome you , and show you around our Queen Victoria market where I worked for 42 years and now my daughter and her husband took over.
Chris, I know you like the sampling of street food, but please take it easy. Try and eat more fruits and stay safe 🙏
Yes I definitely will! Thank you so much and have a great Sunday!
Awesome job bro!!! That dessert( aka bhaba pitha) you had is a delicacy during winter seasons. Btw you should have a translator when going around the streets of Dhaka. So that you can subtitle what the vendors are saying.
what a wild place. Thanks for sharing Chris
Brother Chris, I have been watching your videos. You are really a kind hearted man. But in Bangldesh, don't try everything new. It can creat problem to your stomach. Also in crowdy places, be aware of your phone and wallet. It can be picked. Best of luck and thanks for depicting Bangladesh positively.
I love your videos. I joined because of your Santo Domingo video. Well done man.
The lentil soup you had with beef is called "Halim" . A very popular food in South East Asia including Bangladesh.
@TravelWithChris you seemed to like Bhapa Pitha- it's made with flour, coconut and jaggery. Sorry to see you didn't like Paan which is quite popular in southeast asia. Usually elderly people chew it and it's kind of addictive for those who eat it regularly. Doctors don't suggest having Paan with some ingredients. Can't wait to see more of Bangladeshi vlogs from you. Bangladeshi people are one of the friendliest people in the world. Hope you are loving your stay. ❤️ from 🇧🇩.
your awesome man thanks for shareing with pepole god bless you. always help the needy thank you.
Thank you so much
Wow!. Jason Billam, Travelwithchris and Kurt Caz all in Dhaka at the same time, would be awesome if you guys got together
Hello cris, I am from Bangladesh. I must say u are very kind.. If you again visit in Bangladesh I will definitely meet with you..
The vibe is amazing, but the honking and traffic chaos is too much. You are extremely patient 😊. The haleem looked good. In South Asia , avoid the added spice and garnish over the food especially if they are at room temperature or exposed to the elements. They can mess up the stomach.
A warm welcome to you in our country. in bangladesh,Most of the people who works on the street do not understand English properly. If you keep a Tour guide with you, you can make more enjoyable moments in our country.
Another awesome video.
My 4 year old loves your channel.
I use your videos for educational purposes. Thank you for sharing your experiences and allowing me to teach my son about different countries and cultures from your videos.
Love from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
Question: Have you been to Australia?
You’re awesome and kind. Enjoying watching your videos.
If you haven’t already, you should visit:
-Hatirjheel (take a ride around the lake)
-Gulshan Avenue (take a walk from the start of Gulshan 1 to Gulshan 2 circle, then make a left on Kemal Ataturk Avenue towards Banani)
-go back in the opposite direction towards Baridhara Lake and see the surrounding neighborhood
-Banani Road 11 has lots of restaurants
-Dhanmondi Lake
-Parliament building
Oh my that a great experience.
I love watching your vlog. Best wishes from Marudi Saraewak
Hi Chris, how are you doing mate, another great video bro 👍
another amazing video cant wait for the next one
so down to earth you are! would love to assist you 🇧🇩❤️

Bangladesh people are very kind and honest only problem is there places are very hectic and noisy it’s because of the population 😁 nice vlog Christ.
Beautiful honest people ❤
Watching my city from London. It feels great to see the vibes. Missing it more. Hope you are enjoying to the fullest. Also try to explore outside of Dhaka. If you find any issue in my country, happy to assist, bruvh! ❤
Next time you crave for “Bhapa Pitha” just come to Ohio. I love to cook traditional Bangladeshi food for my husband & son. You’re always welcome Chris.
Bro i been binging all your bangladesh videos today
It looks like you’re the only westerner in Bangladesh and the locals love it ❤
Yes 🤣 not much tourists compared to other surrounding nations
🔥🔥💪💯Thank you for sharing. Always enjoy all your content💯🍻
I truly enjoy watching your videos. It makes it like we are traveling together with you.
I’m from Singapore and if you are ever coming here, please visit us in March. It’s the ramadhan period and there is alot going on that I want you to experience.
Hit me up, i would love to introduce to you the muslim community here and to experience first hand ramadhan here in Singapore. It’s going to be an experience of a life time.

Btw me and my wife like watching ur vlogs . Keep up the good work . 😃
Here's a village Fair going on in our area which is not so far from Dhaka probably 1 hour to reach here. You'll be able to see a lot of things here and you'll be able to explore the culture here. It's located in Aitk Market, Amulia, Demra, Staff Quarter.

Hey Chris , how do you book your flights and accommodation .. ?
So I use skyscanner to find my flights then I go to the actual airline to book them, and for hotels I use Agoda . Com
Chris seems like a really decent guy
I saw your all Videos. I'm from Bangladesh.like Your way to Travel & connection with our Bangladeshi people ❤. If you left Bangladesh hooe you will come Again & i will meet you Bro. 😊
Take Love From Bangladesh ❤
“He seasoned that pan like a piece of chicken” 😂😂
The noise is unbearable. How can they live in that city?
habitual......... but disgusting
You get used to it.
It is a one of the most populated city in the world with few area. The people of Dhaka habituated it.
When I was in Bangladesh that was one of the things that hit me the most. You would think it gets quiet at night time but it doesn’t. You do get used to it though
I'm from UK I like to join you in Bangladesh . I'm bangali bro I love your videos
Wowza!!! Great videooooooooo
Bro nice video, new subscribers watching your vlog from United Kingdom. My home town Sylhet Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Thank you for watching!
Waiting for a mauritius video
Love all your videos tho ❤️
I need to go soon! Thank you so much!
Welcome to our Bangladesh. You are very good man...
Chris eating pan was epic 😅, usually put in on either side of your mouth a chew slowly for the taste 👍
Paan is a digestive that you eat after a big meal. Also you are correct assuming that it has chewing tobacco. It either has tobacco leaf or treated chewing tobacco. I know it messed you up but if you are brave enough next time try half a paan leaf (green) with a touch of calcium ( Chun), and little betelnut. That's it nothing else. No spices. The leaf is spicy enough. Good for digestion.
One Bengali poet wrote, "on the edge of the world there is a country - all the amazing people live here'"
Brother, welcome to Bangladesh, I think you should use Google translate to people it's easy for both of you, thanku
Thanks for watching!
@@Travelwithchris I know filming time can't use Google translate, but sometimes you mistake with people, like they mean 50 and you understand 500, hahaha huge different
Would love to vlog with you! Your the most humble vlogger on youtube
Hopefully one day bro!
@@Travelwithchris I'm also going bangladesh in a few months :p
Chris welcome to Bangladesh ❤️ I'd love to be your tour guide of my beautiful country ❤️
Lots of honking, kind of cracks me up. Like at that point no one is even paying attention to the honking.
🤣🤣🤣
Hello Chris. First of all big thanks to you man for exploring our country Bangladesh. I wish if you need a guide tour feel free to contract me, i will be go with you & exploring more beautiful places. Thanks for coming our beautiful country. ♥
Thank you so much 😀 where in Bangladesh are you from?
Even though they are nice people, it is too chaotic for me
22 million ppl in that city. NYC 4 million. The absurd amount of smog from no landfills will make you want to travel there even more
