    As a daily driver (and absolute fanatic) of a 2022 i4 edrive40, fully speced out, and a person who eagerly awaits the 2024 i4 xDrive40 I've just ordered, I'm aching to know what so completely turned you against the car, if you don't mind sharing.

      Not the car in itself, but the network and range. WE had multiple trips where range and having to charge spoilt the day out, as mileage dominated our thought process. If you look back at my videos you will see I documented a trip to England and back last December, after which my wife refused to get into the car and I sold it. As a pure car, I loved it, as an efficient way to get about, beyond home charging range, it was an expensive mistake.

      @@HighlandRider I'll definitely have to go check out some of your vids. Availability of charging infrastructure (and outdoor temperature) will make or break the experience for consumers. I happen to live in thr SW United States where the weather rarely gets cold, and I'm not able to drive more than 25 miles in any direction without encountering L3 chargers. Even (and especially) the out of range trips have been amazing on this end. I typically stop at 20%, and in the time it takes me to hit the Lou, drink a coffee and smoke a cigarette, I'm at 80-85%.
      Glad that you at least enjoyed the driving aspect. It's an incredible performer, in my book, and I traded out of a Mk7.5 Golf R. I'm really looking forward to having AWD again soon, but I can't imagine that I'll buy another petrol vehicle, especially when my partner has an available Subaru if we ever just want to go and not be bothered with charging. Because I've never smoked in my homes or vehicles, the only change to my driving patterns has been where I stop for fuel. The amount of time spent fueling is negligibly different, but I get that's not the case for all.

      @@migbham1 It is very different here, and a year on, the demand for electric vehicles has collapsed, many people whi took loans to bu are now in negative equity, and car dealers do not want electric cars to part-exchange as they cannot sell them, my old car being a prime example of how they stick on the forecourt. While my experience was very negative, alternative fuels are the answer and my next car will likely be a hybrid, or pure electric as battery technology will bring range improvements that will reduce the reliance on the network. A car with a realistic 500 mile range would work for us for 95% of trips.

      I drove 35.000km in 16 months. Never had any problems. We only had a few long trips, where I actually had to charge on the way.
      For my 10 to 15 long trips per year I dont mind the charging. For the other 350 days I never ever have to stop to fuel up my car. I still have a Diesel car. Really annoys me now, to waste time to go somewhere and refill.

    it is a lovely car but you seem like didnt get much options in it. doesnt look like an M sports. People want an Msports package car.

      @HighlandRider  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The M car is dual electric motor as opposed to this one which is single, and supposedly, has more range. It was very well spec'd, the only car I have bought where I loaded the options, but they are mainly inside rather than outside, aimed at comfort. The M is more popular, but this one is a lot les moeny.

      @@HighlandRiderno, you can get the M Sports package on the I4 edrive 40 (single motor) as an option as well.

      @@bruce2591not sure that was available when I ordered my car but if it was I skipped it. Never been a fan of bling, prefer to spec the inside rather than the outside. Arnold Clark’s problem now, I am happy with my M Sport blinged 535e

      @@HighlandRider yes it was there from the beginning, but fun fact you lose range with this package because the air drag coefficient gets worse (from0,23 to 0,24) So it looks better but regarding efficiency its worse.

      @@bruce2591 given the already problematic range I am glad I ignored it.
