I ‘watch’ this on my TV when I go to bed. The rain is great!!! But the best part is the blacked out screen so the light from the TV doesn’t keep you up.

I'm from Southeast Alaska, where it rains nearly the entire year (when it isn't snowing). I lived in Oregon for nearly 3 years, where it rarely rained nearly the entire time I was down there. This helped me feel at home and sleep peacefully even when there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful time. I wish sincerely that folks reading this have nothing but sunny days ahead. Remember, after every rainshower there's a rainbow somewhere. I hope you all find yours.

I'm struggling with depression at the moment and my brain keeps going round and round trying to work out stuff I can't get a grasp of how to deal with. I get "scared" or something when I turn the lights off and it's silent, as my thoughts won't let me sleep and keep whirring. You're not good enough, over and over. If I listen to TV or radio there's a chance of louder noises disturbing me once I do fall asleep. This is really good to have playing as background natural sound.

If and when you fall asleep I hope when you wake up you wake up well rested (unless you’re going on a plane in a couple of hours and you want to be tired to be able to fall asleep on the plane). The BEST is a serious under statement. It gets used way to frequent for click bait. I can hear the different types of rain I have heard in my camper; soggy drips hitting the dirt and wet leaves dropping into little puddles formed between roots; the hush of the rain hitting the roof....sssshhhhh....the white noise filling in the gaps...aaaahhhhhhhh. I’ve used a fan to sleep for decades! Since mid grade school. Year round, regardless of Winter, or not. _Best_ ‘white noise’. In summer, the window AC is _great!_ Came across this by chance. Will see how it works. The little crackling sounds mixed in from whatever it’s hitting, is a bit annoying...I may focus on that too much, over anything else. And that won’t be good. ;/ I’ll see how it goes! :)

I am trying it for tinnitus too for the last 6 weeks it has been so loud nothing will change it. I'm wondering does this make it feel better for you does it change it at all period or does it just cover it up I'm kind of new at this

Actually, I think my brain just gets better at ignoring it. I don't even notice it now unless I think about it and then I hear it. When it's loud at night videos like this are helping me fall asleep. I have also been listening to a channel called "Get Sleepy" when I want to listen to a story to fall asleep or go through a mediation for relaxation and sleep. Hope that helps you as well.
