Thank you for this. My parents used to organise this small but nice event. After there passing there best friend picked it up and this was the first time after there passing and corona. Thank you!
I really enjoyed the event and had a good time. Your story, although it's a little bit sad, makes it even better 🙏 People all around the world can now see how cool this event is 🙂☝🏻
@@DiecastDudeofficial thank you again! It is sad, but am glad this keeps getting organized. Arrived there at the end of the morning with my motor. To thank all the participants personally and talk to them. Many familiar faces.
Hello Marcus, thanks for the comment. It feels good to be on these diecast events. Next Sunday I'm going to another diecast event in Belgium. Greetings from the Netherlands
True, I didn't buy there much either, but I'm sure it was interesting for different types of collectors. Of all tables, I think I only counted 2 Hot wheels new in blister.
Enjoy seeing event pieces. There's always something different that catches ones attention. Up close viewing is a great selling point. Once again you've covered all corners and all scales. My favorite.....1/43. Thank You
Hey, I just saw myself in the beginning while buying a Velam Isetta. It was a nice event. Not very big, but still nice and I only live a half hour away. Managed to get a few cars for the collection. Was there once before in 2019. After that of course Covid happened and they didn't have this event for 2 years.
I'd rather have the Mini Gts in the 3D printed Pink resin master's than the white alloy cast metal! It just paints up so much nicer! Being a modeller it's just something I've moved away from is Die-cast after 30+ years of collecting! 1.18 scale! I remember when I was getting some of the 1.18s for £25 to £45 for AutoArt! £25 were like minichamps and solido these were the cheapest of them they had a reputation like burago and misto back then! Oh and sun start when they started coming out with the Xr3is and Xr2is for £17.99 I've got them all and the mk2 escorts! I see them on ebay now for Hundreds each! Why I don't collect now either because I know they got them for about 20 bucks! You still can get Auto art for like 45 buck if you head over to them direct! My latest P1 subaru was 40 bucks just last year! I never collected anything but 1.18s, remember alot of the classics from my childhood hood 35 plus years ago your just not even noticing lol they'll be propper matchbox, majo collectables! Always remember getting my wee finger stuck and cut in the bottom of that open sharp bit on the bottoms of the majos haha
The good old days 😊 Diecast models have become more expensive and the quality is not that good anymore but the details are getting better...if you pay enough money 😏
@@DiecastDudeofficial muy buen precio , por cierto los Fiat punto ,múltipla de escala 1/43 majorette bonitos también. Que precio tenían por curiosidad. Gran vídeo saludos
Dude, do you know how lucky you are to live in the Netherlands ? I went to a collectables fair in Sydney yesterday, (cost $5 entry) and the total amount of diecast there, would have fit on a small table...I counted a total of 7 firetrucks (I bought one.) We are starved of diecast in Sydney ! This event you went to was AMAZING ! @37.20 I recently bought that old Majorette you picked up first. @42.58 all those firetrucks !!! I had to stop my eyes falling out of my head. 👀 That Thunderbirds set from Matchbox was super cool, too.. After you filmed this, how many models did you buy ? Thanks D.D, great camera work ! 👍🇦🇺 🧑🚒
Seriously... zero😅 But afterwards I went to a toy store where I bought a couple of things. Next Sunday I'm going to another diecast event in Belgium, also a good one 🙂☝🏻
Thank you so much for showing us around Dude. You say a full report and it's really a very detailed report. It's so amazing to be with those sharing the same hobby with you. I really hope I could join a diecast event one day.
Impressive video dude! so many varieties of models and diecast. Really love to see those 1:50,1:64,1:87 scale trucks. I'm currently looking for 1:50, 1:64,1:87 scale truck models that isnt plastic but metal body and base. Do you have any recommendation of brands with this criteria? Btw mate, Well said man with the quote "A man needs a hobby" 👏. Without hobby, man could cause a lot of trouble, I totally agree with this.
Tekno, WSI for European trucks in 1:50 scale,..not cheap 💸 but top of the line. Greenlight, minigt, timemicro have good 1/64 trucks. Most of the time 1/87 trucks are made out of plastic like hepra and Wiking. I can't remember a brand in 1/87 that is almost made completely out of Metal except for Siku
@@DiecastDudeofficial I see. Thanks for sharing the links to your video and the amazing insight about trucks😁🙏. Are maisto 1:64 trucks like Mack made out metal? Both body and base?
