Regis made a big mistake shaking up the wings and front.biggest mistake putting isodor on the left.agree with you changes should have been made earlier.hopefully we learn and move on fir cov game.cheers for the video mate.
RLB tried something different and it failed miserably but, he gave it a go so I can't knock him for that. I agree, he should have changed it at half time. A bit annoying that we didn't win after the other teams slipped up, that's twice we could have pulled away and didn't capitalise. Through-out the season all teams will have a dip in form, let's hope these last couple of games were ours and on Saturday we'll be back to winning ways. Coventry sacked their manager today so hopefully we can take advantage of that. Thanks for the video, mate. HWTL
It was obvious the squad depth isn’t there last night . The drop off in quality was apparent, inc both full backs not being used to their winger . The sub’s immediately allowed the FB’s to get up pitch and force their wide players to defend . Isodore will run the channels for an outball option and last night we were back to pass pass pass whilst getting snuffed out with nowhere to go. RLB has had a look at it and now knows how to start . It was surprising to drop Roberts, whilst Mundle has dipped recently. Connolly needed a try out , but currently looks more effective from the bench . It’s a long tough season and even with strength in depth, Leeds lost whilst Sheff U were poor at Bristol and got a bit lucky as we did at Luton. We have only dominated at Pompey away from home . I’d expect most of the season to be tough on our travels . We are playing without the ball ready to counter , but the physical and aerial sides will cause us problems in that situation. Sooner or later we will lose a game comfortably away from home, but let’s not get on anyone’s back . Our home form is good and our wage bill is one of the lowest . It’s to be expected. That said, apparently we have the best away record in the league ! People will say draws kill you and it’s better to win / lose for the extra point. It’s a difficult one, but it’s nice to see losses at a very low number knowing a tweak in the window could turn draws to wins
Great review Wayne. Have we missed Jack Clarks goals in the last two away games? Mundle has been good but we now lack depth. Why Isidor on the left and not Watson or Bennette? Seems strange ( Dodds) thinking....
One of those performances where we just didn't get going!!! Jobes presence was a massively missed ,We were second best to an average Preston side !!! Only 2 good points were that we gained a point & lost no ground as the other sides made no inroads on us in the midweek games ** O.k the blades are sitting just behind us so Coventry is a must win if we want to make any headway this weekend but they will be out to make a point afta losing Robins this morning , It'll be a tight game but am looking at at a 2-1 win to the lads FTM
Wayne I was at the màtch last night and was totally shocked at the disjointed display I witnessed. Not many could walk off that pitch last night and say they did well, and I must say I watched the performance of Dan Neil last night he was awful he should be dropped in my opinion totally inept display I couldn't believe my eyes what I was witnessing he's undroppable but should be, I'd have brought Ballard back in moved onien into Neil's spot and move him into jobes place it was a dreadful watch after being stuck on that M6 for 4hrs because of that serious accident, dear me Wayne we could have done with a quality midfielder in there like Henderson to settle them down very poor indeed and at the finàl whistle the players were shattered all had hands on their thighs with their heads down not a good look, it looks like we've been sussed out.
The only positives to come from last night is 3 clean sheets in a row, 7 unbeaten and we're lucky that Millwall beat leeds and did us a massive favour, before the game i wanted a win and i felt like it was a must win and in a way it is 2 points dropped but part of me is thinking I'll kinda take the point cos in reality we're lucky to to come away with 1 cos if it wasn't for poor finishing and some decent defending and Moore at times we could've lost that in a pretty embarrassing way, yes if we beat Coventry on Saturday then u can say last night was a good point but i wanted the win cos Coventry are a better side on paper than Preston and we never beat them so I'm worried about that game, as for the game i respect Le Bris for the changes especially Mundle cos he needed to come out, i was happy to see Connolly start and i was surprised with Watson starting and dropping Roberts, unfortunately it didn't work cos the first 55-60 minutes was an absolute mess, it improved a bit when Roberts came on but all in all it was a very poor performance, potentially one of our worst this season, midfield was shocking, toothless and clueless going forward but we somehow got a point so we'll take it and see if we can get back to winning ways on Saturday
Dodds written all over it performance Connelly up front then puts 2 wingers on bench shambolic selection our main striker stuck on the wing get Ballard at the back alongside Melphen
When the cameras went to our dug out Dodds was in the middle gob going like the clappers Regis sitting on the end like a scared rabbit and it got me thinking who is actually in charge
@@jimmystokoe6917 if it was up to me I wouldn't have Dodds or proctor around but with the way we've started and them 2 going back to assistants it's definitely better suited for them and I can deal with it, as for last night yes the changes didn't work but I did at the time agree with Mundle getting dropped and I was ok with Connolly starting, dropping Roberts for Watson was a strange one but it is what it is
@@jimmystokoe6917what are U taking about?? M Dodds has been doing Stirling work all season so the team is un balanced at present due to jobes wrongful sending off . Why the changes is beyond me 👀Z A🚪 Connolly and Watson were all in the wrong positions 🤔🤔 any way watson play's on the left 👀Z A🚪 in the middle and Connolly would have been better 1st half was very disjointed on a plus last night's results did a big favour.. Wayne 😁🤞 bring on Saturday definitely need win as you say to keep us away challenges man the match moore 👍👍
It was just plain odd to re-jig the entire front three. From outset they played like complete strangers. Pushing Isadore out wide left when he is growing into our main central striker and needs the game time there. Watson looked lost playing on the wrong side and was ultimately exposed as naive + thus far Connelly is not looking game ready at this level following his personal problems. Was this a wake-up call for RLB as well as the rest of "the management'?
Garbage performance. Highlight was Browne getting congratulated by his ex team-mates for his pathetic free kick he took where he had no intention of getting it on target.
@@RayKnight-nx8dp embarrassing at the end of the game hugging and kissing his ex team mates probably the reason he was absent most of the game should ask him if he wants to gan back

Looks like Amad and Henderson in January are a must as we don't have the strength in depth in this squad unfortunately
