@@heidil9046 Hi there! Thank you for your comment. For size 40 thread, it is roughly 1m for shuttle 1 and 2.5m for shuttle 2. You will need more for thicker thread and less for thinner ones. It also varies depending on how big you make your picots or if you use larger beads. So if running out of thread is your concern, I think it is best to be more generous when winding the shuttles 🙂 Hope you enjoy making the snowflake!
