      Park is Korean and the other three are Chinese heritage.

      I think you are missing the point. It's about being Asian while living in a non-Asian country. If you grow up in Asia, you don't face anti-Asian racism or that criticism that you're both not Chinese/Korean enough or that you are too Chinese/Korean. Because in Asia, (almost) everyone is Asian.
