Great video 👏👏 As a curly girl here, when I normally do these treatments I dont wash my hair for at least a week. It allows the product more time to settle into the hair and also for the natural oils to come through especially needed for curly, thick hair 👍
@@vutomi9874 no, you just blow dry your hair and instead of it being puffy after blow drying it's straight and shiny without any frizz, and you don't get frizz throughout the day even in humidity. Right! Most people think the results are after you straighten it with the treatment on but it's not, you get the true results after washing it off and drying it again
I have been relaxing my hair for years. It's been months since I have done it. Thought I'd try keratin this time. It's supposed to be more gentle. I'm surprised you don't need to put Vaseline on your face in order to prevent a burn if the cream gets on your skin by accident.
Even if you get formaldehyde free product there will be compounds the mix and release formaldehyde during the process. All products are formulated with a safe amount and one exposure will be safe, the guidelines are actually in place for the service provider because they are the ones who have repeated exposure in low ventilated areas. So one treatment every six to eight weeks at home is absolutely fine
Definitely! I already got another bottle of this keratin to do it again in few months :) It's saving me $500-800 - that's how much they want for the keratin treatment at the salon in my area..

I will give this a chance, i have the same hair and I hope this really work, but im afraid that it will be more damage because my hair is literally damaged from too much heat, wish me luck😊😊
Your before hair looks a lot like mine just kinda frizzy. My hair is bob length so I hope it won't be too tedious for me, I'm ready to try this. Looks pretty after.
Hey, so I have a question. I wanted to make a Keratin Treatment - Bleaching Routine. My plans were to bleach my roots at first and then tone my whole hair. Then apply a good hair mask over night and do the keratin treatment the next day, I would plan on doing that every 4-5 months. I just wonder if it works that way? Can a hairdresser maybe help me out?
I have used Keratin treatments in my hair which is frizzy too but product process is vastly different. Mine is left in the hair for 30 minutes and then the hair is blow dried and then using a straightener, my hair is flat ironed in sections to seal the keratin onto the hair shaft. The treatment is left in the hair for 48 hours during which time, it should not become wet or be washed. Kept straight by touch ups with straightener should hair become bent or wavy and hair is not to be tucked behind ears etc. After 48 hours, hair is washed and dried. This procedure is also followed by salons. Unless the product you use is Keratin gold (!!!), don't understand how same effect can be obtained from leaving product in hair for just 30 minutes and then washed.
They do have huge selection of different strength keratin treatments - my hair is natural 2b/2c when it comes to curls/frizz so this keratin was strong enough for my hair, but I believe the keratin gold should work on very curly and frizzy hair so it's one of the strongest available

I like this video. This gives me hope that I can have striaght hair for a motnh or two, I am a redhead with 3a-3b curly hair. I also heard this last 2-3 months, or am I wrong? Nice video by the way, please let me know information on how long it lasts?.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! The results of the straightening effect can last depending on factors like hair type and maintenance. I shared all my tips for extending the results on the treatment in this video: th-cam.com/video/k4UL_duwW0c/w-d-xo.html If you have any more questions or need further information, feel free to ask! 😊✨
Thank you for the tips!! I ended up purchasing the hair dryer and both of the systems you recommended:) I used the clarifying shampoo from the wash and go Keratin treatment and the "stronger Keratin" as the product. Worked great, but the fumes were ALOT intense. Made my eyes water and had to step outside a few times throughout the process:) LOVE the results though! So happy to know I can do this myself! LOVE the blow dryer also!:) Thank you!
I did it intentionally for the first time, but the last few times I’ve been applying the product to my roots and I didn’t notice any negative side effects. :)
Great video! Questions : were you supposed to wear gloves to apply the product? Were you supposed to wear a mask because it's toxic or something? And Last question: how much Time total should I dedicate for that treatment? Because I have a baby and asking this so I'll know how long to get a babysitter. Thanks!
It depends on the keratin you're using. The one I use is formaldehyde-free. It took me 2-3h total when I did it for the first time, but now the whole treatment takes around 20-40 minutes with blowdrying and straightening.
Great video ,I love . I will love to get the same product as the one you are using. Were exactly can I get them and at what price. Ones again thank you for sharing .
It does! I’ve been using it for over a year and can’t live without this treatment :) I used to hate my frizzy hair and now they’re finally manageable. Planning to make an update video soon:)
I did that for years but styling naturally curly hair would take a really long time every day and I personally (my subjective opinion) prefer straight hair ;) I may change my mind when my hair will be super long - long curls were always something I liked but short curls are just not for me.
Not worth it ;) It's so much cheaper and less time consuming to just do it at home :) I just recently did my third treatment and for the second time I just applied it as a mask, took me maybe 2-3 minutes instead of 2 hours ;)
Woah, that's steep. Where I live, most salons' price for this treatment are around $300. Still too much though, especially getting it done three times a year. I already get my hair fully highlighted three times a year, so I'm not too keen on spending another $1000 per year on my hair. I can use that money for something else. I will try this at home one day when I muster up the courage.
In Norway i do this treatment, they senter 500$ the first time, and the second time they wanted 400$. That’s also a lot. Maybe I should consider the home version
@@JuliaCaban The problem is but if you use the original Brazilian Blowout which has quite a number of steps the Brazilian blowout liter is extremely expensive so most hairdressers do not rent the station that only exists in barber shops. So 99.9% of hair stylist work on commission the cost of the product has to be deducted out of there sale before they can get their Commission and it all depends on the stylish that is working on them if they are super busy they have to calculate an hourly rate that will compensate the loss for the time focused on one client meaning if the hairdresser works for 5 hours on you and then normally booking $150 an hour that's where your cost is calculated plus they have to deduct the cost of the product but there are many alternatives to this you don't have to use the Brazilian Blowout you can use almost any keratin product but the thing you have to understand is if you're going from and methylene glycol product like the Brazilian Blowout that oxidizes gradually after about four months usually there is no trace of the product in the hair and the hair Remains the Same as it did before the service but if you use an inferior product that costs a lot less normally contains aldehyde or formaldehyde the hair after 4 months is in worse condition than it was before this is what you must understand I own for salons and this is how you decipher which one you choose to use more plus you cannot buy the Brazilian blowout over the counter even with a hairdressing license you have to register with a local distributor and they have to come to the salon and do a demo which you pay for as a salon owner there are many counterfeit Brazilian Blowouts being sold on the internet believe me I wanted to save myself the $600 a few times and purchase something that was less expensive online 99.9% it is counterfeit/expired . Do yourself a favor find someone in your local community that works in a salon that is registered with Brazilian blowout go to the Brazilian blowout website and type in your zip code and it will donate a name of a salon in your community that's uses and utilizes the Brazilian blowout treatment which in my eyes is the very best. You have to understand this is a luxury not a necessity
Love this video.. hw easy it is.. ima do this when I get my products.. CAN'TWAIT!!! I wish I could add a pict lol Thank you fr explained part by part, thank you
I didn't see any steam coming off the hair when the flat iron was used so I wonder if it was hot enough. Also, the directions say to go up to about 1cm away from the scalp but yours was way further down than that, which makes me think the roots didn't get the treatment. I'm wondering if you had problems with the roots when you styled the hair afterwards? Also, I'm wondering if, after doing this treatment, do I have to blow dry and flat iron to get my hair flat or can I air dry it and it will be smooth?
It lasts up to 7 months and even longer if you will use the right cosmetics, but keep in mind you prob will have redo the roots after 3-4 months if your hair grows fast :)
Hi Julia, I had a question. How long would it take for your hair to go back to its normal state and if it does, is it still frizzy and curly or does the treatment help with frizz as well
hey dear...can you please tell me....how long this treament stay on hair...or is it left any kind of bad effect on hair....pls reply it will help me alot
It is actually good for your hair as it is a conditioning treatment! And it can last for up to 16 weeks - it doesn't stay straight but it makes your curls shinier and less frizzy :)
Your hair came out looking soooo gorgeous. I want to try this but everyone keeps saying it damages your hair, have you experienced that your hair has became damaged in any way or became more frizzy??
I've been doing the keratin treatment since April 2018 so it's been almost a year and my hair has never been in such a good condition! Even my hair stylist was impressed and that was the first time ever I got such complement about my hair :) I'm not being paid to say that btw Just want to make it clear, because I bought these products myself and I would not continue using something that won't serve me. I think the keratin treatment (especially the one I use since I had bad luck with other brands and even doing keratin treatment at the hair salon) is the best thing ever! I dreamt of having sleek, healthy hair my whole life and I finally achieved something that seemed impossible since it's not easy to change your hair structure - at least that's what I thought ;) So in conclusion - my hair is not frizzy anymore and definitely healthier than ever. I love it!
Hey! I was wondering what to do with the hair mask and what it's for? I'm a guy and just recently wanted my hair straight but my local salon wanted $400 for this treatment. I hope this really works! Btw I'm your 100 like
Thank you Plexy! :) The hair mask will bring back the moisture to your hair if it feels dry after using a flat iron. It's optional, I actually didn't apply it the last time I did the keratin treatment and my hair still looked great even without it. I would recommend to apply it for at least 10-20 minutes before washing your hair.
Tried this. It worked, my hair is definitely smooth and straight but my hair is still smelly when wet for 3 weeks now. I don't know how to remove the smell. The results are good but I don't think I will do this again after few months. I can't stand the smell.
I know exactly what you mean! Fortunately my hair only smelled when wet and it faded quickly - 2-3 washes and it was completely gone but could still see results for months so Im happy to put up with it for a little bit ;)
Hi Julia… great video.. thanks for sharing.. I do want to ask the difference with applying the keratin wash and go application vs the inverto 60 gel? For beginners what would you suggest? My daughter has biracial hair very curly but not the thin curls that works well with wash and go routines. I am wondering which process I should try for her.
You could’ve gotten that result with blow drying and flat ironing alone. Your hair wasn’t done in the beginning lol. However, good for those who do have very curly hair and alooooot of it. This is helpful for them for sure.
I get what you're saying about blow drying and flat ironing, but the difference with the keratin treatment is that it locks in those results for months, even after washing your hair. So, for long-lasting smoothness, the keratin treatment really makes a difference! 😊💇♀️
I would like to ask if it's important to seperate the hair into sections when I have short hair. I'm a boy and I've been straightening my hair for the past 2 years and this really seems like the way to go. Also does chlorine water affect the hair afterwards ? Thanks
From regular treatments you eventually don't need to flat iron your hair that much. I've been doing these treatments to just the regrowth of my hair for the last three years now
I have read some reviews on the products you used saying that the fumes are very strong and it still needs to be done in a ventilated space. Is that true?

I already get my hair fully highlighted three times a year, so I'm not too keen on spending another $1000 per year on my hair. I can use that money for something else. I will try this at home one day when I muster up the courage.
In Norway i do this treatment, they senter 500$ the first time, and the second time they wanted 400$. That’s also a lot. Maybe I should consider the home version
Heard of groupon?
Loved the process! Definitely gonna try. It doesn't damage your hair right? Like hairfall or something?
update?
Did it cause hairfall?
When no one replies it means there’s a possibility
Hey did you notice any hair fall ? I heard a lot of people say this and since my hair is thin ( about same as yours) I'm afraid it'll be even thinner.
Your results are AMAZING!!!!!!! Thanks for the tips!
Thank you for watching:)
In my opinion you look cuter with curly hair, it fits (your eyes) you better.
kvksdoboz agree!
Love this video.. hw easy it is.. ima do this when I get my products.. CAN'TWAIT!!!
I wish I could add a pict lol
Thank you fr explained part by part, thank you
I didn't see any steam coming off the hair when the flat iron was used so I wonder if it was hot enough.
True, but even when I don’t use super high heat the treatment seems to be working for at least 1-3 months. :)
Yes, you should blow dry your hair every time after washing your hair but no need to use hair straightener 👍
How long does this last and how does it look after you wash it? Would love to know thanks !
It lasts up to 7 months and even longer if you will use the right cosmetics, but keep in mind you prob will have redo the roots after 3-4 months if your hair grows fast :)
3 to 5 months
depends on your hair
Hi Julia, I had a question. How long would it take for your hair to go back to its normal state and if it does, is it still frizzy and curly or does the treatment help with frizz as well
About 6 months
After you wash your hair what happened? They will be straight or not?
Honestly u look pretty with curly hair.
Thank you!
Thank you. I will definitely try, as you demonstrated!🦋💖
Thank you for watching!:)
So your hair doesn’t hair dry straight? You still have to blow it out?
hey dear...can you please tell me....how long this treament stay on hair...or is it left any kind of bad effect on hair....pls reply it will help me alot
Even my hair stylist was impressed and that was the first time ever I got such complement about my hair :)
I'm not being paid to say that btw Just want to make it clear, because I bought these products myself and I would not continue using something that won't serve me.
I love it!
Hey can I use the loreal xtenso prokeratin mask as my keratin treatment product
Do you have to straighten it to get the effect or could I use a large heated waver tool? Great video
Yes, you have to use something that will straighten your hair
This is amazing! Thanks for the video ! I really want to do it but I heard that hair look greasy after keratin treatment! Has anyone experienced it?
If your hair feels greasy you can wash it after the treatment - no need to wait!
Can i get this treatment after bleaching my hair 😊
what is the hair brush you are using?is it a hair dryer too?Great video thanks!
Yes, it's a brush and hair dryer in one so it dries and styles hair - I love it! I've been using it for over a year
Amazing ! I just want to know how much the effects can last ?
It lasts up to few months
Hi Julia… great video.. thanks for sharing.. I do want to ask the difference with applying the keratin wash and go application vs the inverto 60 gel? For beginners what would you suggest? My daughter has biracial hair very curly but not the thin curls that works well with wash and go routines. I am wondering which process I should try for her.
inverto 60 is a new formula - it's more convenient to use from my personal experience :) they both provide the same results
You are so pretty. Do I color my hair before the keratin treatment? If not, how long do I have to wait? Thanks so much.
☺️thank you! You should color your hair after the keratin treatment - then it won’t change the color.
Don t color your hair after
U should color before keratin treatment
I would like to know what products you use for maintenance to keep the treatment for long period
Could you please tell the name of the straightener you used? The links you provided are not for the one you used in the video. Thank you!!
yes, it's this one: Heat Iron: amzn.to/2WQF6VX / although I prefer this one a lot more: amzn.to/2CXoSCY
is it effective? Did you recommend this product? how about the deep conditioning hair mask?
Yes, it works very well. I recorded an updated version of this video recently. I purchased the big bottle of this keratin but the newer version.
Результат вообще супер! Иду покупать продукты :D спасибо большое за ссылки в описании
I want to try this treatment!!
Thank you for the video. Do I need to buy both items "Stronger Keratin" & "Wash N go Keratin Treatment". Please advise. Thanks
You can just get the Wash N go Keratin Treatment, or if you have very curly hair, then consider getting the Stronger Keratin :)
Julia Caban thank you for your quick reply
Girl you look amazing in both types of hair! Where are you from?
I would like to ask if it's important to seperate the hair into sections when I have short hair. I'm a boy and I've been straightening my hair for the past 2 years and this really seems like the way to go. Also does chlorine water affect the hair afterwards ? Thanks
I think you don't need to, but make sure to saturate the hair with the product evenly :)
Which clarifying shampoo do you recommend?.
Such a good tutorial thank you. what brand is the hair dryer brush?
Hallie Lonsdale its revlon
Amazing transformation. Love this. Thanks for the video
Thank you :)!
Great job!!
Thank you! Cheers!
U r soo kind replying everyone.
I love to interact with you guys :) Most of the people who comment here are pretty nice, so I really enjoy it ☺️
Thanks to u
I want it to be softer without loosing the curls is there is something like that pleeeeease 🥺🥺🙏🏻
Can u do the keratin treatment on top of a protein treatment??
I’m not familiar with protein treatment - I would ask whoever was applying it on your hair.
thank you, very straight forward
Thank you for watching :)
I’ve heard different things. Some people say you have to keep straightening your hair and some say you don’t
From regular treatments you eventually don't need to flat iron your hair that much. I've been doing these treatments to just the regrowth of my hair for the last three years now
What’s the product that you used please?
So do u blow dry while the product is still on,after leaving it on for 30-60 mim
When you wash it after 3 days . Do u have to use the hair dryer or the straightening iron
They advise to keep hair straight for the week so use straightening iron if necessary but I personally didn’t need to.
Hey julia.. I have wavy hairs, but my front hair line is curly does after keratin treatment it will be manageable?
Curly or straight you look wonderful dear.. you’re such a beautiful lady😘
Thank you!
I have read some reviews on the products you used saying that the fumes are very strong and it still needs to be done in a ventilated space. Is that true?
What is the name of the products?
Are you adding the treatment and then the conditioner? And then blow drying the hair???
You need to blow dry the hair and then use the flat iron to set the product in :) Using conditioner after setting the product in is optional.
Our hair texture is very similar. No matter what my hair is dry and frizzy agh.
What is the name of the flat iron you used. Thanks
Hello, great video! Thanks
but how many times can we use that 1package of product?only use one time and it finished?
You can use the same bottle for around 4-5 keratin treatments. Depends how much product you use (how long is your hair etc.) :)
Hi, how long the Keratin lasted on your hair? My hair is curly and medium length. I am thinking to do the same thing yo did. Any advice's? :)
It should last up to 7 months if you use sls free and alcohol free cosmetics :)
