That is cool, I like a small town but still 20 miles outside of Pittsburgh.
On any printer that has a screen protector on it you need to remove that top layer because if you don't the light intensity will be lower and it will affect your prints
That is what I thought. I always get that comment about why did I remove that top one that says please remove.
got mine a weak ago broken out of the box waiting new parts to fix but not hoping that the new parts will work but lets hope they do
What parts were broken?. Sorry to hear that! I asked Uniformation for the new 12K upgrade kit. If I get that part then I will take the printer appart to do the install.

@@kenstechlab the 12k is more of a downgrade as you lose screen real estate as well as the pixels are rectangles making the X axis 19uM and the Y axis 24uM. Save yourself $200 bucks and turn on anti-aliasing.
I just went through the sane experience leveling it but got it dialed in after also wrapping my head around the process. What is your base level and layer exposure time? I'm using 2 seconds and 20 for the base layers. Have you tried their slicer? Cheers!
I am glad that I am not alone in the leveling process. I have not tried there slicer I like Lychee only berceuse I know it now. I have set the layer speed with the resin that I use in Lychee.
Depends on the resin, but I am using Elegoo 8k Space Grey. 1.5s exposure time and 6 for the base layer count. 0.030mm for the Layer Height with a bottom exposure time of 30s.
waiting for my GKtwo to come in. Did you relevel the bed for knowledge or did you have to> I thought it came pre leveled. Just wondering before mine gets here.
Hello, You will see a paper in the instructions that says it is leveled at the factory. I guess mine was not done or it moved. I did learn alot by doing the level myself. I do frown upon manufactures that say something and not follow through. The instructions also say if the Build Plate is NOT level to contact there support. I just wanted to level it myself so I did not call support. Hope this helps and keep watching the channel.
Mine came pre-leveled just fine and needed no adjustments.

I want an idiot proof system for my first one, and living in sunny England 🤨, one with a heater.
The UniFormation will make a good first printer, The heater makes the temp perfect under cool or cold conditions. Just remember that Resin rules apply. Be safe first with resin.
@@kenstechlab I use a mask when shaving and using any resin kits usually so I got that covered lol.

1000% recommend the GKTwo; it comes with bells and whistles that make it worth the price, plus they are always on sale. The heater alone makes it worth it.

Hi, I see that uniformation's video shows that you loosen the screw ontop of the build plate then lower it down with out any paper, tighten the screw and then only insert the paper to confirm. Where did you find the information on the method you are using?
I was using the 4 tabs only with no paper. I did use it later to test out my work on the level.
@@kenstechlabPS there are tutorial videos on the USB drive that came with it, you should watch those before you break something
My GK2 printer is my best resin printer by far, Not every GK2 came 100% level. I was able to figure out the leveling and love it. I think all other manufacturers should take not on this kind of leveling. If you follow my channel you can see that I am no stranger to 3D printers or taking them apart. The instructions actually said to contact support if not level but why do that lol.
What slicer did u use and settings ? I havenf found settings for lychee or chitu
I use Lychee, I found the printer to be available in both slicers. I dont think it makes a different if pro or not.

I am putting this printer as the best of the year. I am still waiting for my Wifi USB addon but I have seen that all the new shipments are coming with that Wireless accessory.

This is a terrible video. You did not follow the manual directions. Most likely it caused the problems you encountered.
This printer is my main resin printer and love it. Sory you did not like the video.
