@@eldritch_crafts also, why don’t you use Dark contract with Eternal Darkness? It literally stops the opponent from playing the game. Im thinking about putting it in my deck. Thoughts?
Beginning to fall in love with the pure version of D/D/D and its thanks to videos like this. Boards are less flashy but far more resillient to hand traps and has less choke points. Gryphon is a game changer for the deck, along with the xyz. in the right hands this is dangerous lol. Great video

I think that in the anti-nibiru combo it is better to not xyz summon the rank 8 xyz because the opponent have to deal with documents for fusion and xyz and link monsters (in the first duel you don't know what your opponent's deck is) also if the opponent doesn't destroy big Genghis you have a spell/trap negate in your turn and if you special summon a DD monster you can build a very defensive board in your opponent's turn or revive your board for otk
@@eldritch_crafts Fusion summon is the least important thing. The first thing that your opponent wants to destroy, is big Caesar then makina also if you have big Genghis and Ragnarok (with 3000 def) your opponent will afraid the effect of Ragnarok (target and banish) so after makina your opponent wants to destroy Ragnarok but you have Gilgamesh who can bring him back to special summon again another genghis (because previously, maybe, your opponent destroys big Caesar or big Caesar has already used his effect) and big Genghis can summon another DD and you spam special summon after your opponent destroys big Caesar, Makina and Ragnarok (only Raigeki can destroy all of them at once, but who runs 3 Raigeki ? 😛)
So you're telling me this deck got more insane. 😅 Seriously, I enjoy watching your D/D content. One of these days we should have a Remote Duel rematch. 😈 As always, keep up the awesome work! 😈🤘
Do you value Dark Arma's destruction protection that much because you believe Raigeki/Storm will be played more compared to now? Personally i value High Alex's revival and 6k ATK a little more for closing games, it can sometimes OTK even through the half dmg restriction. Note here that Ragna's + Thomas' restriction dont stack, so you still make 1/2 damage and not 1/4. With Desires gone, i'm now commited to 1 Necro/1 Typhon/1 Lamia. This together with Rage opens up space for the 2nd field spell to make Siegfried access easier, 2nd Orthros that is great due to 3 Skill Drains and Foolish burial that saves 1 Tell loop on its own and is very flexible.
hopefully the full card list is added to master duel soon cards like gryphon are really needed to make this deck work in the current meta. otherwise, you just can't keep card advantage or pull of combo's enough to get negates and some big bodies on the board first turn.

@@CMDRJukan see jackedygo, you’d play Oracle and lamia(you can dump it to 1).
