I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
It's 2023 and although the sound is not the best it's still my most reliable little old faithful... it's outlasted every other speaker I've purchased and the battery still pushes 12-14hours.. I think Ive had it almost 7 years now maybe longer ❤❤

Great review except for repeatedly comparing the XB10 to its older brothers which are _supposed_ to be higher quality. The XB10 was made for people who may not be able to afford the XB20 and up. It may not make sense tech-wise, but believe me it's a smart business move.

The video is pretty spot on. I got one as a birthday present and I loved it so much I got another one on black friday so the price was about $35. I love that I can pair both together and I have a large room so it gets pretty loud. at full volume, I can hear it downstairs and if my door is open, I can hear it from the kitchen which is located right under my room. I paired it up to my monitor since I just got it and wasn't really able to turn down the volume and it works great! I have an LG 29 inch and Mac book pro and it lets me control the volume!

The altec lancing speaker is real distorted at anything higher than 60% which makes for a crappy speaker. I work in a auto shop and having the Sony makes for a great sound even with the shop noise! I can go for half a week before charging it which is also nice. I’d recommend this speaker for sure!

I can not connect this pair of SRS-XB10 to any of my Apple device. It is discoverable but just does not connect, both devices and the Phone / Ipad are turned on, and Bluetooth button is Green (ON) in setting. What more can I do ?

I have the Flip 3, and the Flip 3 sounds better all around compared to the XB10 and can get much louder. The XB10 is a good choice if you need a speaker this small, but I'd recommend the Flip 3, cleaner bass, more clarity in the mids and doesn't distort.

5:10 is where the extra base is and it’s sick
For its size, the bass is POWERFUL. This was my second choice, but the Google Home Mini is wonderful.

I tested this against the 20 in the store and the 20 was unbearably muddy sound wise. I ended with this one and am mad happy with it.
I got one as a gift. Not that expensive but for it's price it is a very good speaker. Mine has also a pretty good built quality.

It has a really small power led, what you can hardly see so it will not be a problem.
