We all know his intentions. This song has one purpose only..... You got it right.
Major Harris III was an American R&B singer, associated with the Philadelphia soul sound and the Delfonics. His biggest hit as a solo artist was the 1975 single "Love Won't Let Me Wait". Although many radio stations refused to play the song due to it's.... I don't need to tell you.
Wow, that was very saucy for 1975. I was a junior in high school then, yet there was another "spicy" tune released in 1973. "Pillow Talk" by Sylvia Robinson hit the charts making us all blush w her sensuous "moaning and groaning". Fun fact: Sylvia used the proceeds from that record and started her own record label, SUGARHILL RECORDS. She was the first person to sign a rap group to recording deal, the Sugarhill Gang (Rappers Delight) in 1979.
