Man just watched the new video finally and I can't believe u started at FDR I hit the same lines I just got a few short clips on ans I completely agree with the transition but I think the update will help I agree with the 3.5 and I would give creature a 2.5 just not enough space. I mainly agree with your critique although in my opinion giving 3.5 out of 5 on a location like F.D.R which as you stated, is so transition heavy yet offers no vert style skating/ air grabs etc.in the game is foolish and seems to be there just so they can say that it's there! Personally I'd give it 2.5 out of 5 at most because of the aesthetics and the fact that there are some enjoyable runs with plenty of fun boxes, lips, kickers, rails etc. to ride for a bit. I grew up skating vert just as much as I did riding street in Southern California skateparks and famous locations. Actually literally around the corner from both El Toro and Etnies, Vans and Delmar skateparks to name a few. Not being able to enjoy them completely really is as you said, kind of an insult to those of us vert skaters out there. I also agree with your assessment of the Creature location and give it the same rating. 👍
Cre-true skatepark used to be a really cool map but now that the objects on the second floor aren’t moveable it kind of hurts the map I think. They said they had to lock those objects behind the ribsman mission when they updated the object dropper. I forget the reason for it but yea it sucks. Hopefully when they move to Unreal Engine 5 they can make them moveable again. Or even add them to the store so you can buy them and place them anywhere.
that first Skate Park map is just absolutely wasted potential, even I (someone who never skated a day in my life and just picked up the game last Saturday), can tell. It feels like it's just there, waiting for a future update that expands on the little to non vert/bowl skating mechanics that are there
I literally played creature park for the first time today (less than 50 hours). Did you know you can go to the black sign near where you spawn and it gives you a challenge?
Transision is still a black magic to me... If I finally do something on coping it's rather a luck then actual input :P It still requires better tutorial mission and guidance. Not mentioning fixes. But I like how smooth you can nail it.
Chuy made a 2x multiplier pumping mod if you're interested for transition skating. You can ride the vert & mini ramp deck and do tailslide into a drop in😊 If you wanna flow better at crea-ture park, just skate the Hangar DLC instead lol it's what crea-ture park is based off of
It’s all just timing. Do a bunch of tres in a row and get used to the flip time and figure out exactly when you gotta catch the board. The more you do it the more it just becomes muscle memory!
