@@AJKPenguin Well US infrastructure is in ruins, in a few years there’ll be mass bridge closures because they aren’t well kept and most are over 40 years old
@@NugsSlugsBugs An age of a bridge ought not to determine a shutdown or collapse. Rather, we probably ought to look at better ways of TLC, also less use of corrosive materials in treating winter roadways. New Zealand's longest span, the Rakaia Bridge, has been around since 1930. The George Washington Bridge, in New York City, and the Newell River Bridge, are also excellent pieces of work to be inspired by, and they're toll bridges. Summer is the best time to be there. Winters can be rough. We lived in Sapporo for 4 years, supper nice. That park is where the fireworks are during the summer. Don't forget to eat at CoCo Curry while you are there!
Hi Robbiw. i love seeing your Japanese videos. From the devastating tornado frorest to the spectacular view on the mountain and the freezing most northly point each one has been a joy to watch.
I love both types of your videos, the typical longer hiking videos as well as these shorter vlog type ones. But i really enjoyed this series because i love japan so much and can‘t wait to go back 🤩😊 Thanks for your awesome videos as always🤗
Yes! Love your journeys! Wish I was there. You provide a much appreciated service for those that may plan a trip wherever you go. And for those that can't manage to travel for job or medical reasons, just a wonderful positive view of our world. Thank you so much. And Idaho thanks you!
Awesome trip, Japan is the number one place I want to visit right now, I wished your video was longer... amazing music composition, very relaxing and fitting!
I've never seen such calming vlog ever in my life! I could literally feel your experiences. So much soothing! I'll watch your Japan vlogs everyday until I visit Japan one day!
Thanks for the videos fellas. Been watching you guys for a few years and now I’m a student in forestry at a school in hocking hills after you all inspired me.
I lived in Sapporo as I mentioned in your other video. Memories are truly precious.OMG I lived In Asahikawa a much smaller city than Sapporo . I lived there for 2 years.Odori Koen, the amount of times I walked past there ...🥰. OMG. Shin Sapporo is where my wife is from, lived there also. You are bringing back so many wonderful memories now.. 😃
Great series! I totally enjoyed the escape and "travel fix" watching these videos provided and totally support your unintentional buzz at the Sapporo Museum. Cheers and thanks!
Awesome went to the same river and park area last April. We stayed at a hotel at the end of the bridge. Loved Sapporo too bad only had time to stay a day.
Thanks for bringing us along on your trip to Japan! It’s amazing how you manage to fit those places of interest in your tight travelling schedule. Dude, I need to go to Japan in the very near future 🤩
Hey, I stayed at that same hotel! Hotel Sakhalin, yes? Looks like it's covered in snow so you can't see it, but the car park area out the front has a big tile mosaic of the famous Sakhalin husky sled dogs, Tarō and Jirō.
Found you while doing research for my trip Feb 17th. I plan to do a ramen tour hitting as many prefectures as I can via shinkensen and sampling each region's ramen.
I highly recommend looking at more traditional Japanese food as well. Ramen is more recent addition like 100 years ago which is fine and all but there is allot more to Japanese food.
Wow! This was such a treat. I lived in Hokkaido for about ten years, and I really miss it. Your sanpo through Sapporo followed paths I had often walked. Thanks for sharing this. I really miss those giant, loud Hokkaido crows.
Just happened upon your channel and subscribed after watching the first video. Loved that you visited places other than the usual tourist areas. Japan is truly awesome. Also love your choice of music!
I enjoyed all 3 Hokkaido videos, I'm from Sapporo, haven't been back for more than 20 years, and you showed me the places that I almost forgot about. I'm grateful for these videos. Hokkaido is very famous for seafood, well I should say really good food, it's just too bad you didn't have time to enjoy that. I loved the music you use in this video too.
Next time stop in Asahikawa (better in spring/summer), there is a fantastic zoo ! Usually I don't like so much zoo, but in this one animals are quite free.
We stayed at Hotel Unwind there and it was amazing! Delicious picnic-style breakfasts every day with fresh ingredients, happy hour every night, the elevators smelled like campfires and you could order s'mores kits to use at the rooftop bar over the open fire!
Sapporo was not in my itinerary originally but since I had to postponed my trip I have an extra week and will definitely be going to Hokkaido for 3 to 4 days. Thank you for posting this ✌🙂
I really love your video because I want to see usual views such as river sides, crows living town.I found you like crows. Also background music is awesome.Hope to see your next videos.
Ive been to sapporo last November and i can tell you that is a loooong walk from the tv station tower to the beer museum! Also, you missed hokkaido government building. Huhu theres so much to see in sapporo.
I’ve been doing this thing where I’ll spin the earth in Google Earth and where my finger lands is where I will then go google videos of that town or city. Kinda like when you were a kid and would spin the globe..and Sapporo is where I landed. ❤️This is a great video. I realize I know absolutely nothing about Japan’s geography. Those mountains in the distance with the rolling snowy hills remind me a lot of many northern regions of the US. I truely enjoyed your video. Thx going to check out your others.
When we went to Japan in 1997 we used our Japan Rail pass to go to from Tokyo to Nagano, Kamakura and Kyoto...in addition to going in and out of Tokyo from Kashiwa City where our host family lived.
I live in a moutainous southern humid but still gets snow region. and i live for the moments i go out on my porch in spring and everything is a blinding vibrant green. do yall have kudzu there?
The station is I believe to for the Shinkansen when the line finally gets to Sapporo. It will go there from Hakodate via Kutchan (not sure if Otaru and Yoichi are also included - probably are given the geography...?)
This Japan solo trip tour experience has just been awesome to watch.
Man this series has some seriously good music goin on.
Having a really tough week here, which I won't go into. And I have been watching your Japan travels this weekend to escape real life. Thank you.
Glad they could help :)
l feel exactly the same as you.

The music once he boards the train in the morning is relaxing as well as recharging the good mood. Thx
また来てね!!
Please come back to Sapporo again😊

Sapporo looks beautiful in winter
Really enjoying this series. Great editing! I keep thinking every time I watch these videos is what an amazing public transportation system Japan has.
North America just wants some independence in a different way ; )

Hokkaido crows are really cool birds, impressive and yet somewhat eerie.

I find your vlogs very therapeutic. I am inspired to do the same thing, hopefully by next year, in the new corona-age.
Your Japan vlogs never fails to WOW us guys. Probably live there forever and amaze us with your videos! 🇯🇵 👍
That shot at 3:06 of Mt. Rishiri is just beyond stunning.
I cannot wait til I get to work at Mt. Rainier this summer!
I worked a summer at mt.rainier a few years ago! You are going to have a great time!
the glacier water has to be some of the purest on the continent, give it a try when you go
I meant to title that one, but I totally forgot. Thanks for pointing it out!

I went to Hokaido on September 2, till Sept 6, 2019. 2 nights stay in Hakodate, then 2 nights in Sapporo. I enjoy as a solo traveller
I am going to watch this again before 2024! Still can't get enough how beautiful this vlogs are made.
Just magnificent video footage was shot from the train window showing the coastline and the mountains of Hokkaido in winter.

Wow that background music was amazing during your train ride. I could listen to that literally all day 🤤
I really enjoyed watching these 3 videos, was nice to see a part of Japan that you do not hear much about. Thanks!
Awesome trip, Japan is the number one place I want to visit right now, I wished your video was longer... amazing music composition, very relaxing and fitting!

Sapporo and Wakkanai is literal vibes, wish I could live there someday
As always you are always enthusiastic about seeing every interesting angle to be explored 👍👍👍😁
Northern japan has unique sense of building. It feels like you're not actually in japan, quiet and cold place but somehow it felt warm.
It feels more like russia or eastern europe.
I lived in Sapporo as I mentioned in your other video. Memories are truly precious.OMG I lived In Asahikawa a much smaller city than Sapporo . The music and editing with the music in mind is seriously awesome!

Oh! Nice, I did not see it haha, definitely covered in snow.
I had been Japan twice and it’s nostalgic to watch your video. It brought me back good memories. Thank you!
These videos in Japan are awesome! Felt like I was there without having to buy a plane ticket. Thanks for these.

So weird without snow, I've only been there where there are multiple feet of snow on the ground.
I live to get out of lock down and get out in the nature to shoot beautiful sunrises like in Wakkanai

"At dawn, we ride!"
