Choson vs 7 hardest randoms. Part 2 - Destroying the Enemies. Random Map. Age of Empires.

Game Settings:
Map Size - Huge; Map Type - Coastal; Victory Condition - Standart; Starting Age - Nomad;Difficulty Level - Hardest; Resources - High; Reveal Map - Yes;
This is the second part of the walkthrough, here Choson destroys the enemies. Previously Choson successfully reached the Iron Age.
A random map scenario with "Standart" victory condition is harder then with "Conquest" one. Enemies build wonders and this give you an additional problem - to destroy the Wonders in time. You don't have time to stay at your base and you need to attack and attack. After completing the first part of the walkthrough I didn't expect that Wonders would be so problematic and had 5 or 6 attempts before the success.

This video shows a very skilled player with very high Actions Per Minute. Nice ducking of the catapults! It seems even an infantry legion can take down cavalry and catapults with enough adept micro...and many Choson towers. :)

stone mining technology allows workers to carry more stone. It is almost useless. However I develope the technology in three cases 1) After researching Jihad 2) For heavy Catapults 3) For destroyng enemy's towers

Why don't you cancel building Wonders?

I am surprise at the AI would actually change diplomatic stance to be your ally. In my game, the AI never changes diplomatic stance to be my Ally unless I set it up initially.

Nice gameplay but when I vs 7 hardest AI, all the AI players got Tool Age at 3 mins, and Bronze age at 8-9 mins mark which is different from the AI in your game. No doubt, you chose hardest level though. Btw what software did you use to capture your gameplay? I would like to put up my gameplay too - Roman vs 7 hardest AI.

That was difficult tough battle. I wonder whether researching stone mining would help you to gain the stone faster or is this technology just waste of time?

I've never encountered any enemy AI change its diplomatic stance from hostile to ally. Any insight on this?

I do not know, But I noticed that thay switch stance more often when you dominate.

If an AI is neutral and you manage to give 1000 resource of anything they will change to ally.

Have you considered using the other two powerful Choson units: Helepolises and priests? Do you think it's justified to deploy these two units when playing Choson? Or they aren't cost-efficient?
