I watched your Bonsai match and was even more interested than normal as it is one of my stomping grounds through the year, to be honest I never noticed anything untoward and don’t intend to watch the footage back for that reason but hats off and plenty of respect to you for your response to your critics! This format continues to deliver combined insight on method, approach and match management. The talk over just brings together all the fantastic angling intelligence which makes the sport so absorbing which is great for mental wellbeing. I agree with using lighter elastic as is possible. I find the fish have freedom to move away from the feed area, much more forgiving and kinder for the fish. Well done Joe thanks for sharing without selling, not all anglers do. Looking forward to the body cam footage to see all the efficiencies on handling rigs, feed and fish.

Great video Joe, like that format of over dubbing gives people guidance on what you are doing, when and why. Shallow fishing is something I've done little of there being no nearby suitable venues. But I think I'm a bit better at netting fish😊😊😊

Im a positive person and look for the good in everything. Upon rewatch it was perhaps a bit rough and I don't admitting when I have done something wrong. The good news is I blocked most of the naysayers :)

This is a competitive sport, the person who made the comment should go to a fish farm and see how those young bucks are dealt with or go and see how the salmon from the supermarket is bread and killed, not a pretty sight! Says a carp angler who uses 25lb line and drags fish like bream through the water so they can bait up quick again. Please do not tell me you don’t do this as I have seen it many times when I have been fishing. Also learn to clip up and not leave tackle hanging in overhead trees and bushes. Also seen that many times. Carp are about the hardest fish on the planet. Casting into reeds and snags just to get a fish is pointless.
Brilliant video joe and as for people saying handling fish badley and asking for apologies well its the new karen thing and hypertension hypersensitive keep going forward joe but remember to place fish in net no more then 1 mile an hour stil in net and sing to them aswell 😂

Match fishing aint got nothing to do with fish care or they wouldnt put them in keep nets i dont get that anyway all its doing is taking fish out the peg you could defo catch again later on or the guy next doors fish come to your peg after being caught ect ive had the same ghostie 3 times in 1 day out my local match pond felt sorry for it but it kept coming back for more an fish aint ment to be kept still in a net its sad then they get slammed into bag slapping each others eyes out just to weighed then put back anyway might as well scrap keep nets off and weigh each fish its not that hard and if everyone does that nobody has an advantage

@@MatchFishingFilms ive fished matches mate i aint against it at all i enjoy it i often help my mate do the weigh ins on his pond but its the truth tho no matter what we all stand there and laugh about it and say owww grass carp when one slips out the bag an that , its all a laugh really but ovs the fish do suffer abit which is abit sad and during silver matches the big match people like to use really weak lines so they can just pull an snap out of carp ect and leave them trailing a hook length which is sad and isnt aloud on the place i go unless its the big sturgeon then everyone pulls for a break
