Robert would love to see how it goes for you to go organic! This year it didn't rain and rain after planting so he used the rotary hoe 2-3 trips and cultivated a lot but still have a big Ragweed problem. Now there is a machine with an electric zapper that we use to zap the weeds above the beans! Much easier than trying to hire enough hand weeders!

Thanks for watching Robert and Lorene! I am uploading videos weekly so stay tuned! I have seen videos of the Weed Zapper. It looks very impressive!

Thanks! I have seen a Weed Zapper up close but it was just in the barn lot. I would love to see one actually running. From videos I have watched it looks like they do a great job!

So afraid to tear out corn when rotary hoeing. We’ve done organic silage corn for 8 years and just bought a rotary hoe. We want to use it this June just scared of setting it wrong.

My advice is plant a little thicker than normal, then if you flip a few kernels out it’s not a problem. To have effective weed control I need to be aggressive. Thanks for watching!!

Your videos are all very good. We have a Lorenz total till We’ve used for years and are complete rebuilding it and adding the Goertzen Ridging Wings and sweeps. Gonna be our first year using gps so we are gonna run Trimble sub inch accuracy.

Thank you!! I really try to show as much detail as I can yet still make the videos interesting. I have heard good reviews on Goertzen products! I have not personally tried them though. You will love the auto steer! It makes cultivating so much easier!
