Having a mid life crisis and reliving the great bands of the 90's in Oz. As a human pube I (13-15yrs)I listened religiously to their first three albums on my daily 2 hour school commute. As an adult pube, (now 45yrs) I was gifted an LP of Tumbleweed first album , and I have not stopped listening to this amazing band. I still know all the lyrics! I still love the riffs and the unique attitude. Saw them live at Homebake Myer Music bowl 1997 (?) and in Townesville 1998 (?). Lots of love to you Tumbleweed.
Livid '94 in Brisbane. The Big Top, climbing the tent poles and diving into the crowd, all while these boys were smashing it out. An epic event and one of my fondest festival memories!
Trouttaranaki stretching my memory of all the bands, most would land in Croydon at play at the local scout hall for 'under age' concerts/'battle of the bands'...seems like a lifetime ago now >.
I first heard them on a very old snowboard video and iv always enjoyed this song. My wife fucking hates it and cant imagine why i like it. There is no explanation but i love it.
RIP Jay. Very sad news, saw the weed just a few months ago for the first time in a long time and it was like stepping back 20yrs. I was stoked, they had not changed, playing just as good as ever. Happy memories.
Tumbleweed were the first band I saw live! Supporting Nirvana (with The Meanies) @ The Palace, St.Kilda - Feb 1st 1992!!! I went out and bought the Sundial Ep after that!
ahh man.. the lovely grungy 90s.. how I miss them, and all the boys with long hair... I remember when this band ws on every single Big Day Out bill, it was great :) along with Magic Dirt and Spiderbait.. Bring back grunge!!
RAGE! Haha. I played this because I had it after ‘would’ by Alice in chains on a late night rage compilation I made in the 90’s. VHS of course. I heard would then this came on in my head as it finished. Thanks for posting.
Crazy Mary what song comes into your head when it ends? I think I watched mine ‘til it bled. I caught specials of the cult, nin and nick cave (boys next door, birthday party and up to when he killed kylie in a song). Damn rage was the nuts back then.
I have such bad memories of you guys. I loved your music and this song. Was at a gig at the ANU in Canberra and you refused to play this song saying you had new stuff. We got that, but still not hard to play the songs that brought us there. Really changed my feeling. Would have followed you a lot longer had you embraced the songs that got us there in the first place.
We've probably bumped into each other a few times. the first time I saw them was at the Baulkham Hills community centre with Headache & the Meanies I reckon 15 years ago shit time flies...
there is a clip made for the song Ocean that was never released on TV shot in Brisbane by Kelly from Screamfeeder in some pub in Brisbane and the Playroom on the Gold Coast
These guys could have saved the world or perhaps they did i don't know - anyway well %^$%&!! done to TUMBLEWEED - what a contibution to the the human race - cheers!!

why isn't this cd on spotify??? I wanted to listen to Sundial ( and the rest of the record) and instead I had to one at a time it here on TH-cam. which seems silly.
Well you've seen Acid Rain here ;) I have Gyroscope on an old video tape but I need someone to rip it for me - that could take a while. If it happens, I'll let you know!

Crazy Mary what song comes into your head when it ends? I think I watched mine ‘til it bled. I caught specials of the cult, nin and nick cave (boys next door, birthday party and up to when he killed kylie in a song). Damn rage was the nuts back then.
That doesn't work for me because I've listened to this song in so many contexts! Mix tape, album, video ..
