you all just witnessed the best college football quarter back season of all time. This is something the younger generations wont understand. Perfect season. I don't care how much certain people hate LSU. It was the greatest season, by the greatest team, with the greatest quarterback, in the history of college football...EVER.
Exactly! To do what they did, against the competition they had to face, coming out of the SEC West for crying out loud, beating all the ranked teams during the season (taking out the season starting top 4 mind you), winning the Heisman, going undefeated AND winning the national championship. This has gotta be the most accomplished season, or one of the few, ever in the history of college football.

We have all been gifted with watching true history being made. No matter where Joe goes, nothing can erase what we have seen. and what he has accomplished. I feel like I have just watched a miracle take place in slow motion. He may not be the greatest player in college football history but he's the best I have ever seen in my almost 7 decades of life. Will anyone EVER again score 14 TD's in the two-game CFB Play-off? LSU dropped an easy TD, missed a gimme FG and took a knee on the 4 yard line to end the game - they could have hung 60 on Clemson, the #1 scoring defense in the nation. Counting Georgia in the SECCG, in three consecutive games he played the #5, #4 and #2 teams in the country (including two top-5 defenses) and put up 18 TD's. Just unbelievable.

Did anyone REALLY believe Clemson's secondary was going to be able to cover either Chase, Jefferson, Moss or Marshall 1 v 1? C'mon man...Chase absolutely abused TF out of Terrell.
Stacked offensively. Stupidly stacked. So hard to keep up with that offense. Your defense though isnt top 10 all time. Even clemson scored 25. Bama 41. Doesnt matter though, LSU was a team that didnt matter how good the opponents team D was, they were gonna score. You had to be in a shootout to have a chance to beat them. I'd like to see that LSU d-line go against 1995 Nebraska run game. Nebraska would have 500 yards rushing, but LSU would have 600 yards everything else.

This may have been the greatest offense ever assembled in college football. Joe, Clyde and Jefferson all making a case for Rookie of the Year, personally I think Herbert is leading by a slim margin, and if Chase was eligible he would have been a top 10 pick. Not to mention Thadeus and Terrence Marshall and the Best O line in college football in 2019.

There was pregame show with burrow talkin about a wheel route and how proud he was and how hard they worked on it . I rarely have seen someone so passionate about the lil things .never a college qb. He reminds me of Peyton Manning’s work ethic and accuracy . But the subtle Escapability of Mahomes. Idk if he wants to play in the nfl tho . He talked about this being his dream . I’m not doubting him being great in the next level. If he feels content then I think it’s a recipe for disaster at the next level if he isn’t mentally invested.

My main takeaway, the sports media underrated LSU's defense, and they overrated Clemson's. The truth is that Clemson lost 4 elite D linemen from last year, and it showed all year. They were nowhere as good as last season. Ohio State should have won the semifinal. It took bad luck and bad calls to lose to Clemson.

I really don't think they overrated Clemson's defense. It was obvious they had us stumped for the first quarter-ish. I think, believe it or not, they underrated our offense as well as our defense. Nobody's seen a college offense this efficient. And Trevor Lawrence underperformed

4:30 I like how the announcer pointed out the smart decision by Moss to just stay in that spot, instead of running towards the corner. It made it easier for Burrow to get the TD pass. That is something I didn't notice until seeing the replay.
