I mean this guy is good not terrible considering the fact that you just can´t sent an expert to every single game presented in the E3, in past gameplays from gamespot the guy was pretty good, maybe he wasn´t available when he had to record this.
As a beginner, this type of gameplay will be typical. You are getting thrown into the game without knowing anything about how to do it well. It is in fact atrociously terrible in comparison to the players that make full use of everything they can do to their advantage, but to expect that out of someone who is inexperienced is ridiculous. It's better to think of these videos as content showcases rather than a show of skill.

I really like what Vicarious Visions have done with Tawna in the remasters in her only 2 appearances before the remasters she was just a hot chick Crash had to save with no personality or anything that made her unique. Vicarious have just done a full makeover with her to make her have actual personality and it’s great
Damn, after seeing Twilight Tour I am fully convinced that Beenox is MORE than ready to make a new clasic Crash game from scratch. Everything is so beautiful and vibrant, both the design and the music feel fresh, while still being in the vein of the original Trilogy, yasss, I couldn't be happier!
I think Vicarious Visions is already working on a new game. Think about it, they made the N. Same Trilogy and a brand new level for it. They also made Crash Nitro Kart. So you would think they would just remake CTR right? But they didn’t. I believe it’s because they were asked to make a new game and that’s why Beenox made this.
Then we just appreciate that, not only do we have all the trophy girls in here, but I think for the first time ever in a Crash game, we have Coco and Tayna on screen at the same time.

The Twilight Tour track is pretty cool with using a mixture of the Ancient Egypt & Ancient Arabia levels, and the Japanese Pagoda from “Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped”. And we also have Tawna & the CTR trophy girls as playable characters now!
Never mentioned you cant copy something and, in this case, make it even better. Also, MK8 was not the only Mario Kart that brought variety on the table, the series allready did it more than a decade ago
I honestly can't believe with all the reveals they've still gone and added new tracks, despite all the cool stuff that they've already gone above and beyond with. Truly amazing of Beenox to do that.
PSA: Please do not bash the people recording gameplay because they can't play the game right. It is likely there first time playing the game and they are not going to be good at it at the start. You should be happy that they are at least showing the track.
I was expecting Penta, Spyro and especially Tawna to be playable since Coco was the only female racer in CTR. But the inclusion of the trophy girls really surprised me.

I think it’s to do with Tawna’s new design and how she presents herself, they’ve given her some muscles so she clearly works out, can clearly fend for herself in the N’Sane Trilogy as she decked a lab assistant in the face and only gave up when she was outnumbered and has a more rough and ready personality
Be happy that there is someone new interested in a game we love. The bigger a community is in an online game means shorter wait times to find people of similar skill to play with. Also more money for the developers to support them in continuing development on the game. Don't hate on someone just because they are new, its actually the best thing that could happen if you think about it.

Exactly. I'm saying to get people who grew up playing the game to do the gameplay videos. It's doing a huge disservice both to people like us who know the game and to people unfamiliar with it to show the game being played at such a low level. People unfamiliar with the game will watch this and may not buy it because they don't realize how much more exciting it can be. For example, you don't get people who have never driven to do car commercials.
Not every journalism outlet has someone who grew up playing every game and it's unrealistic to expect them to hire people on who did just to cover one new title. When the game comes out youtube will get flooded with videos of us old veterans powerhousing through the game with usage of the game mechanics at its full potential. Don't worry about it.

For first time players, the concept amd execution of drift boosting seems tricky, but once you get the hang of it, you'll really be kicking ass.
