There's a detail that I just noticed just now but I don't know the exact meaning to it. However I don't see alot of people mentioning it either (actually I haven't seen anyone point it out yet). Whenever the chorus plays, aside from the prison clothes getting darker and darker (until it turns to black at the end) after each time he spins on the plate, I noticed that the color of both the collar and his socks keep changing. At the first chorus, the collar used to be black and the socks used to be white. However in the second chorus, his collar started off in a faded blue green and then later becoming more visible and saturated after he spinned on the plate. And then on the last chorus, it started off in fade green again, only turning fully saturated when his clothes turned black and he was crying. It's probably already obvious just by looking at the mv but I do think that the instances of color green appearing in the mv represent his true self because I noticed how in 9:28 the subtitles (both japanese and english) in this section of the song is in a different color than the rest of the lyrics. This section also feels different from the rest of the song, like he's explicitly talking about what he really feels about having to suck up to others instead of the usual "I do my best to keep appearances for others" parts/lyrics throughout the song. And that could even be a glimpse of the protag's real personality or his thoughts without any filter on his words. And then at this section near the end of the song ( 11:04 ) where the "F. U. C. K. Y. O. U." slowly appears on screen, notice how the orange lights turn to green one by one. And then at the end of the song ( 11:54 ) he first has that green collar on and then at the next scene where it showed his true self, he doesn't have it on anymore but instead the green is now on his clothes, his eyes, and his earrings/the background (I can't really tell what that green is by his ear). I don't know how to explain so sorry if this is really confusing but I just really wanted to point it out.
I interpret this song, along with Matryoshka, as trying to mask neurodivergency. In this case, it's about trying to understand manners and social hierarchys, stuff like that. I still remember not having a filter long after others gained theirs, and it was sort of weird to always be honest now that I almost never tell the whole truth. I relate to this song a lot, and it's nice to see that you like it too :^∆
It’s been years since I’ve listened to song that I can relate to on such a deep level it pretty much physically pains me. I think that one thing that doesn’t go talked about enough is the presence of the mother figure. It’s a small detail but as an autistic person whose had large amounts of pressure set on me my whole life to act normal because my mom would be embarrassed and ruined, because I’m just a piece of shit that was born wrong and it’s my fault. I don’t even fckin know who I am anymore and the psychological damage I’ve seen now... I just can’t freaking take it anymore why am I even typing this?
OK OK HEAR ME OUT I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING: you totally don’t have to do it at all but you should react to a song by Jin like kagerou daze or Ayanos happiness theory. Heyyyy! I cant really sleep, so I'm really glad this video popped up cause I needed it. 😂 Again, thank you so much for your hard work! Though I have watched Bitter Chocolate Decoration countless of times, this actually helped me understand it a bit more, so thank you! This song is actually one of my favorites, not only by it sounding good, but also very relatable to not only me, but a lot of people too.(which is really sad) Due to your editing, and actually explaining the video through speaking and voicing your own opinions on what's it about really helped me understand and appreciate it more! So thank you~ :) I'm also happy with you reacting to Eve for your next video! I really like his songs due to not only his voice, but his also very fascinating animations which I really fell in love with. Again, thank you so much for your hard work! Good luck on your finals! Please study. 😅👍
Thank you so much and you’re welcome! Yeah my main goal with these isn’t just to have people listen to music for the first time, but to understand it thoroughly as well! Also I too am superrr excited to watch Eve!
Teachers: Tell you it's okay to be yourself Also teacher: Stop acting like that, it's not NoRmaL! Society: It's okay to be yourself once in a while and talk about the things you like to others, so be yourself! Also Society: YoU LiKe aNiMe and ShmEnTaI? EWWWW! Me: Make. Up. Your. MIND!!!!
@@dreameva1400 So what? Everyone's opinions and ideals are different, some people have something in common, they can't make up their mind when the one and the other are different.
im wanted to add to the theory by saying, in the guy's situation, that as he was playing it safe and was pleasing people it started getting worse and that instead of him just hiding only a fragment of himself he started to show/ become the complete opposite. the old lady in the vid is the symbolisation of the suppression of feelings and the end scene is either of the outside of him ( his appearance he shows everyone else) or a close friend/ fake friend/ acquaintance of his that when he wanted to show his true feeling said those last words to him in the vid
When it comes to holding in thoughts and emotions that can be destructive, I have a few people i call my vent buddies, where we just hang out, and let out everything we truely think and feel about situations that we may or may not have the unpopular opinion on, and it helps keep away the soda bottle effect of exploding since the carbon, or thoughts and opinions, get released when needed so that the rest of the day or evem week goes much more smootly then it would if we didn't have our vent time
Great video, but I just want to make sure it's clear that this song is written and originally tuned through vocaloid by Syudou. Miyashita Yuu just to be a smooth and slick as hell cover sing alot of the time. Syudou also did a self cover and killed it!
I'm pretty late to the party, but awesome video! Each and every one of Miyashita Yuu's songs are incredibly unique and have a deep meaning to it. I love how he hits sensitive real-world topics that a lot of us can relate to. His voice, the music, the mixing, the animation, the lyrics, the subtitles, and the passion put into all of his songs is just ineffably exquisite. Just remember to be yourself, everyone! The true you is the you that matters and although not everyone will like it, there will be plenty of people that will relate to your interesting personality and will love you for you. It's impossible to please everyone, so just please yourself as long as you're not hurting anyone. 💕
Woah it’s nice to see someone reacting to these songs! You should watch The Religion of Loneliness (孤独の宗教) by syudou, it’s quite interesting! Miy_yuu did a cover of this song quite recently as well. :)
Oh I love this song so much! I’m so happy you’re reacting to it! It’s really strange not hearing the vocaloid version though. I think the vibe of the song comes through a little bit better in the vocaloid version not gonna lie. I also always knew that the song was about inner thoughts and what was stated in the video, but I’ve always wondered what the woman represents. The ending really makes me think there’s more to it but I couldn’t figure it out. I’m happy this video finally showed me the meaning of her.
Well, now you have to react to 孤独の宗教 by Miyashita. Also, I'm really glad I found your channel. We need more people appreciating this kind of music and Miyashita's godly voice.
Bro thank you so much for making these videos. I hope your videos will bring new people to this genre! ;-; . I think this "genre" is so underappreciated. Im doing my part too uwu. I've been recommending miyashita yuu's covers (or vocaloid/utaites songs) to random people on youtube lololol. And so far, i got one person to listen to him.
Wow i really do relate to this song. I understand how it is to do everything others want especially doing everything my family thinks/expect of me. They don’t even know what I’m really like.
@@shooshiMooshi Thank you! It's getting difficult to focus on school stuff because I've been stuck at home for a long time, buuut I'm pretty sure I'll be fine. We'll just have to get through these difficult times together and enjoy life the best we can!
HECK YA! I’m taking partial credit on this one XD nah jk but srsly good luck on finals! Miyashitu (sorry I suck at spelling) KILLED IT with this song. I love this song and your commentary on the plate and his clothes things like that. I really related to this song and in a way it reminded me of Neru’s “Tokyo teddy bear” with the cutting and the patching up, losing your true self for others and all that. We all look forward to your next video and hope you have fun with the things we suggest!
Haha you were actually one of the people who recommended it so yeah take some credit lol. I’m glad you enjoyed it and I’ll for sure continue having fun with yalls suggestions!
i related to this song so much since third grade, i've been in the gifted program and since i didnt act selfish like the other kids and i was a quiet kid, i was always complimented on my mature personality and humbleness until it was the only thing everyone saw. im trying not to let it affect me now, but it still does because if im too blunt, it could ruin my humble image, and everyone could see me as rude also, i'm not sure if it's related, but i have a hard time understanding my and others' emotions. i often suppress my emotions so others wouldnt have to pay attention to me
As someone who is literally following the normal culture yeah I kiss ass to stay an accepted member of society Like when I told my mom that I want to be a TH-camr and a Live streamer she was like "Nope get a job like the rest" yet she is the one that told me that I should be myself
miy_yuu: •0• you: fuck that's hot But in all seriousness great video. I always took a more positive view on the ending that the person saying "oh i recognize you!" was a different person, but when they see how vicerally the person reacts, they pull away. As in, that is the same kid as the one in the orange jumpsuit, but is free of his mom's control and dressing out like he would want to. It could still be angsty though with the idea that "I hate my younger self and childhood so much that just mentioning it pisses me off". Or maybe I'm just grasping straws. Who knows?
it's definitely an abstract idea that is explored in this video so trust me, nothing's wrong in interpreting it in a different way from me haha. Your interpretation is just as valid
I just have to say your editing is SO SMOOTH. I'm not too sure if you noticed but the cables you mentioned were actually connected to that (assuming) Virtual reality headset that he wore, it flashed so you might have missed it at 5:18 and 11:28. It's almost like he's playing a simulated game called 'life' to get the perfect route/ending. I've also got finals up in two weeks, hope yours went well!
Probably nobody is going to see this, but other than the implication of torturing the dude into submission with electric shocks, I think the mother also fed him poison. The guy struggled to finish the food and is seen putting his hand over his mouth as well. The mother also forced him to smile. This reminds me of mithridatism, which is defined as a practice of consuming minor doses of a poison to develop a resistance to it. The thing is, regularly consuming poison can’t be good in the long term, and it just doesn’t work for most poison. Anyway, I think the title also alludes to this, because many types are poison are unpalatable and bitter-tasting, like cyanide, which is a very well-known poison that causes symptoms including seizures, which I also try think can be inferred from the parts in the video where the guy is spinning in short bursts (?) on the plate. So basically, the horrible excuse for a mother is teaching him to smile even when people are feeding him sh*t disguised as something good for him, and pretend that nothing is wrong.
Happy Shape, The Crawling Spirit, One Off Mind, Wodori Asobase and Lofi-times are my all time favorite from Miyashita Yuu. I also hope you can also react to them since the lyrics are pretty interesting(especially Happy Shape). You can also hear a bit of what his speaking voice sounds like in his cover of PINOCCHIO-P's song, Feast of Absurdity.
I can relate to the soda thing u said...i blew up about two times, the first was when i was like 8 or 9. The second actually happened this year. Both times of which I made people cry, be afraid, scared and mad at me for
Saying this before I hear his opinion on this song, the protagonist and the guy shown at the end were the same person, however, the guy in the orange suit was him according to society's standards while the guy shown at the end is him being true to himself. The woman however, is all the rules and restrictions of society personified and the orange suit symbolized his bondage.
Damn man i love your videos you are doing it by just strait up passion keep it up man And also a recomendation i think neru (name of musician) would be an intrusting pick he has some of the most catchy songs and also a good visual overall and mayby some theory would even slip in ( sry for grammar im from poland) :-)
Omfg I just binged on your videos and found them so entertaining to watch because like, I had the same reactions in my head but I never had anybody else to fan around with LMAO.
I didn't really see anybody commenting/saying anything about the lady's role so I'm just gonna say out my opinion. I think the lady's role was being a mother figure or a guardian to the MC (Main Character). The "Mother" was supposed to represent society in a way, where you shouldn't be picky (like how she forced him to eat food) and just accept what others say in order to please them
5:17 The guy has a wedding ring, I've noticed, which brings up the fact that it isn't just women who end up in loveless marriages specifically to make others happy. We're all susceptible to people pleasing tendencies, some even more so than others due to their own personal living situations. The need for validation has no gender biases, only a sensitive stomach that can get severely irritated or even damaged when fed improperly.
Wow this whole breakdown video is my life And its not just that everyone can relate to this which is usually true but i mean my whole life has revolved around this key concept for years and it's terrible ill tell you that much. I live in guilt tbh I hope i can learn to not care but i guess i can't afford to do that. It’s honestly a religion at this point
@@shooshiMooshi yay! Thank you very much! I'm so happy that you answered! I love Luz as much as I love MafuMafu and Soraru so I'm really happy! Yu-San is also between my favs now thanks to your reactions!
I know this was made may last year and its now 2021 but I felt the need to comment because sometimes a song explains things better than you can to yourself. I'm sure anyone else with ocd might have the same kind of thing where you constantly feel the need to keep yourself in check, to repress yourself because the thoughts become more intrusive and constantly push you to act more controlled and compulsive. This is just what my mind connected it to of course, everyone is gonna have a different experience.
This song, resembles me so much. So let me sum it up for you, I was a people pleaser, i just wouldn't realize it, i tried not to lie, betray, and just kept respective, kind, caring, and loyal as much as possible, what i fear is, i hate creating enemies, so what now? I don't have one, as a child, i should be doing what 14yr is doing rn, not being responsible, and it's obvious cuz i find comfort when people treat me like a child, patting my head for example, i had to fit in, so they wouldn't leave me, i had to give my all to them. (This is dramatic lol)
"servant of evil" would be a good song to listen to if u haven't yet. And the art of the video ur reviewing in this video the art looks similar to dead man's wonderland.
Theres this video right here, which has really deep meaning, and then there’s the video in my feed right above it being, “Peter Griffin Frog side by side”
This song and interpretation really speaks up for me like I hate hiding my real interst in front of others and It really iritates me when I have to agree with someone so mainstream like the type that if a trending clothes change they also have to change their style the same with music people who listen to only mainstream shit and radio with that one song artists who repeat the same word few Times to get the song stuck in your head and it pisses me of when that kind of person is critisising me for my taste in music and my style we live in the times where beeing Original is something bad like get my point people now are so washed of originality and become walking trends becouse they want to be accepted by society does someone agree with it?
This whole video reminds me of the promised never land like the scene where the woman with no face was giving him food and he ended up on the plate and then where he was testing and how he was scared and there were ups and downs and oh my god @-@

Teachers: Tell you it's okay to be yourself
Also teacher: Stop acting like that, it's not NoRmaL!
Society: It's okay to be yourself once in a while and talk about the things you like to others, so be yourself!
Also Society: YoU LiKe aNiMe and ShmEnTaI? EWWWW!
Me: Make. Up. Your. MIND!!!!
Heh, 2 years, 2 Cringe
To be honest though, a society is just a group of random people so their opinions and views are different, same thing with the teachers.
@@czeianamiguel5543 so??
I'm always looking forward for your reactions, plz do 'villain' next👌
Villian has been stuck in my head! Ten out of ten!!
Agree :D
Thank you for that :)
I love this reaction...
I'm grateful to those who made Japanese subtitles.
(日本語字幕を作ってくださった方、ありがとうございます…!)
I'm about to binge watch all of your videos because I adore listening to other theories people have, this is amazing.
Can’t explain in words how happy these videos make me, I love to see people that share the same feelings towards miyashita yuu as I do, he’s too good
Happy to see they make you happy. I’ll keep doing my best to do his music justice!
Woah it’s nice to see someone reacting to these songs! You should watch The Religion of Loneliness (孤独の宗教) by syudou, it’s quite interesting! Miy_yuu did a cover of this song quite recently as well. :)

Another recommendation for you is Red Purge - Miyashita Yuu, Dark Night - EVE, Sister - EVE, Villain - Miyashita Yuu
Yellow - Near
Oh I love this song so much! I’m so happy you’re reacting to it! It’s really strange not hearing the vocaloid version though. I think the vibe of the song comes through a little bit better in the vocaloid version not gonna lie. I also always knew that the song was about inner thoughts and what was stated in the video, but I’ve always wondered what the woman represents. The ending really makes me think there’s more to it but I couldn’t figure it out. I’m happy this video finally showed me the meaning of her.
Just imagining him singing sends chills down my spine.
Well, now you have to react to 孤独の宗教 by Miyashita. Also, I'm really glad I found your channel. We need more people appreciating this kind of music and Miyashita's godly voice.
I really relate to this, all my life I pleased everyone to the point of losing who I am.
Your videos are so fun and interesting to watch! I hope your finals will go well!!
Ayyy thank you! I’m suffering but I think I’ll be okay haha. I hope you’re doing well as well!
@@shooshiMooshi Thank you! It's getting difficult to focus on school stuff because I've been stuck at home for a long time, buuut I'm pretty sure I'll be fine. We'll just have to get through these difficult times together and enjoy life the best we can!
Good luck on your finals!!
Thank you! It’ll suck but I’m sure I’ll be okay haha
Minami - "Hollowness" has some similar themes! Amazing song that I would love to see the reaction too!
宮下遊さんの「アイアルの勘違い」も見て欲しいです…!

Thank you for figuring out the meaning of this song, i was lost for so long of the meaning the creator wanted to tell me
While I’m here, happy shape is an underrated gem. Thanks so much for reacting to miyyuu you are all our content
I’m glad you enjoyed it and I’ll for sure continue having fun with yalls suggestions!
i related to this song so much
since third grade, i've been in the gifted program and since i didnt act selfish like the other kids and i was a quiet kid, i was always complimented on my mature personality and humbleness until it was the only thing everyone saw. im trying not to let it affect me now, but it still does because if im too blunt, it could ruin my humble image, and everyone could see me as rude
also, i'm not sure if it's related, but i have a hard time understanding my and others' emotions. i often suppress my emotions so others wouldnt have to pay attention to me
As someone who is literally following the normal culture yeah I kiss ass to stay an accepted member of society
Like when I told my mom that I want to be a TH-camr and a Live streamer she was like "Nope get a job like the rest" yet she is the one that told me that I should be myself
Another song has been added to my kin list

4:27 The way he’s playing with his voice right here is really really really………..*bi panic * good
miy_yuu: •0•
you: fuck that's hot
But in all seriousness great video.
A very quick click never ceases to amaze me! Good luck on studying and finals man ^o^
日本語字幕ありがとう!すごく理解出来ました!
Japanese Word thank you!!
I'm understand
Both times of which I made people cry, be afraid, scared and mad at me for
11:51 this both feel like being a people pleaser and SA especially in the last part with the throwing up eating being the naked me ect
Damn man i love your videos you are doing it by just strait up passion keep it up man
And also a recomendation i think neru (name of musician) would be an intrusting pick he has some of the most catchy songs and also a good visual overall and mayby some theory would even slip in ( sry for grammar im from poland) :-)
“That’s hot I don’t give a fuck” -shooshimooshi 2020
That song was my favourite project sekai cover
Please!!! REACT TO TRAFFIC JAM!!!
PS:
Thank u for this reaction
Omfg I just binged on your videos and found them so entertaining to watch because like, I had the same reactions in my head but I never had anybody else to fan around with LMAO.
I didn't really see anybody commenting/saying anything about the lady's role so I'm just gonna say out my opinion. I think the lady's role was being a mother figure or a guardian to the MC (Main Character). The "Mother" was supposed to represent society in a way, where you shouldn't be picky (like how she forced him to eat food) and just accept what others say in order to please them
ONE OF MY FAV SONGS OMGG
5:17 The guy has a wedding ring, I've noticed, which brings up the fact that it isn't just women who end up in loveless marriages specifically to make others happy. We're all susceptible to people pleasing tendencies, some even more so than others due to their own personal living situations. The need for validation has no gender biases, only a sensitive stomach that can get severely irritated or even damaged when fed improperly.
The last time i was here mr.mooshi had 700 something subs, now he's got over 1k subs
You invested early. Good job haha. Nah but fr yeah I’m soooo grateful for all the new supporters :)
This song just describes me totally
Autophagy has dark meaning and I hope you can react to that too
Finally, he made the reaction of this song. I really wait it! I wonder if he want to hear the " " song.
Wow this whole breakdown video is my life
And its not just that everyone can relate to this which is usually true but i mean my whole life has revolved around this key concept for years and it's terrible ill tell you that much.
I live in guilt tbh
I hope i can learn to not care but i guess i can't afford to do that.
It’s honestly a religion at this point
I'm sorry! I know I'm being selfish, but please react to Royal Scandal series by Luz! There is so much to undercover in that series as well!!! Please!

One of my fav songs
Shooshimooshi is so me when i first heard this song i was also fanboying over his voice ☠️
People ask me who my fav rapper is and I say Miyashita Yuu
オススメで出てきたんだけど、着眼点凄いね❗ !!(゜ロ゜ノ)ノ👍👍👍
You should check out his traffic jam cover ;) its gonna melt you trust me
This song, resembles me so much.
So let me sum it up for you,
I was a people pleaser, i just wouldn't realize it, i tried not to lie, betray, and just kept respective, kind, caring, and loyal as much as possible, what i fear is, i hate creating enemies, so what now? I don't have one, as a child, i should be doing what 14yr is doing rn, not being responsible, and it's obvious cuz i find comfort when people treat me like a child, patting my head for example, i had to fit in, so they wouldn't leave me, i had to give my all to them.
(This is dramatic lol)
I want someone to make a "Omar not beating the allegations" compilation. It'd definitely include clips from all of his Miyashita Yuu reactions
I heard it also talked about people pleaser
Can you react to YELLOW-Yoh kamiyama please?
(My English is really bad lol)
i love the japanese subtitles ( off topic, my apologies )
I was listening to this song and was like.. “Didn’t shooshi react to this?” Low and behold, he did.
I think the Nightcored version is the best
Omg every time you upload it gets me excited and happy:) also good luck on finals
Thank you! That means so much :). I’ll do my best haha
please PLEASE listen to the religion of loneliness!! Miya yuu made a cover of it as well and syudou also produced the song :3
This whole video reminds me of the promised never land like the scene where the woman with no face was giving him food and he ended up on the plate and then where he was testing and how he was scared and there were ups and downs and oh my god @-@
Oh yeah and the prison thing how they have to wear the one uniform
