Vanessa, please make some time time to see the Mohave Desert. A 1 or 2 hour drive from Las Vegas, you and Jorg can be in very remote areas of Nevada and Utah. Have FUN!!
Welcome to America Vanessa! Don't worry, Big Jörg will take care of you! He's traveled to America before, he won't let you get lost. 😃 Wish I could attend the show, maybe meet you and Jörg in person. 😃 But my health won't let me travel anymore. Anyway, enjoy your trip! 😃
America welcomes you, Vanessa! You certainly are taking the “Go Big or Go Home” approach. Las Vegas is very interesting to say the least. I’m sure you will have a great time at the Shot Show. Great people and tons of information. My only advice is “patience”. Things can get confusing, but don’t let it stress you out. It is a lot of travel for you which does get very tiring. Take your time and get rest when you can. We look forward to you sharing your experiences with all of us. Peace from the USA ✌🏻
I sincerely hope you have a wonderful visit to the U.S. There is no need to be concerned about Las Vegas itself. The cabs, buses, trams all make it very easy to get around. But…everything in Vegas is HUGE. It will skew your perspective. Just because you can see a place, DO NOT think you can walk to it. Shot Show is awesome and you will love it. If you have the time, take a drive out through the desert or up into the mountains. The scenery is fantastic. Also, start NOW drinking lots of water. It will help with jet lag and the elevation changes.
Also, don't forget the most important electrolytes used in our bodies: sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and bicarbonate These minerals are essential nutrients for our bodies because they help with hydration, keep the pH balance in our bodies stable, and regulate muscle and nerve functions.
I live in Las Vegas and I hope you have an amazing time. Number one thing is to keep hydrated - it is the Mojave desert! Drink lots of water, and dress in layers, because the daytime sun is warm but it’s chilly after the sun goes down. You will love the Venetian, it’s very beautiful and big! We’ve been watching your channel since you first started, we love your adventures in nature. Can’t wait to see Las Vegas through your eyes - Dale 😊
You're going to the annual SHOT Show! How lucky you are to be able to attend that event. Since you have never flown before, may I recommend a window seat? I always choose a window seat because I love to look outside and see what is passing below the aircraft. The big, intercontinental jets are generally fairly comfortable, especially in business or first-class seating, and the ride is usually quite smooth at cruising altitude. Las Vegas is NOT a typical American city. It's all about entertainment in one form or another, and it's located in the heart of the desert, so you won't see much in the way of nature, unless you like parched and barren wastelands. If you're flying Lufthansa and the flight is direct (non-stop), you'll be flying over Greenland and much of Canada, which should be quite pretty from 38,000 feet. Have a safe flight and a wonderful time at SHOT Show, and willkommen in Amerika.
Welcome to America Vanessa. Just relax and you'll enjoy the adventure. You will truly be amazed by the firearms available to Americans. Have a great time.
Welcome to the US Vanessa! There are some beautiful places to visit outside of Vegas, if you have time. Have a wonderful visit! ❤ Jul and family Taking earplugs or headphones is really handy because sometimes it gets a bit loud. Also your English is really good, so you can ask people for directions etc. Most people are nice, and just ignore the rest. 😊
traveling can be a little stressful. but you will get through it! vegas is all about entertainment, so enjoy what you can! you are a great soul, and you deserve a great trip!
America will welcome you with open arms. When I was 7 years old I took my first flight to Germany in a Pan AM 747. It was magical. You are going to love flying. Las Vegas is a great place, just don't use your credit cards to get cash for the tables. I speak from experience lol. Shot Show will have all the latest firearms. I would like to go some day. You are a very lucky girl, my Power Queen! 🔫🇺🇲🇩🇪❤️❤️❤️
This will be a wonderful adventure, I am so happy for you. I would love to see you go through the airport and get on the plane (you could film it on your smart phone), and watch you arrive in Las Vegas. Jorge will look after you, he is a good man. This is a great thing you are doing, enjoy it !
Welcome, Vanessa. The SHOT Show is really great. It's a shame you and Jörg can't stay for the "Great Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show" in February. It's billed as the largest sportsmen Show of It's type. Courtesy of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania... Anyway, hope y'all have fun.
Going to the Shot Show! We hope you have a good time. Las Vegas is much different from the rest of the USA, so please don't judge USA by Las Vegas. My wife and I live in Idaho, it's very rural and beautiful.
I was also going to say the same thing. Las Vegas is unique and can be tons of fun, but it doesn't exactly represent the rest of our country, especially the rural areas that I prefer.
You should try to hook up with Wonder hussy she used to live in Las Vegas she don't live far away now she lives in pahrump which is about 2 hours from Las Vegas she knows the Las Vegas like the back of her hand she is a kind content creator to
There is nothing to fear about traveling to the US. I always bring at least one book and a movie or two on my iPhone. I like to wear a jacket or vest with multiple pockets so I can always carry my important items, tickets, visa/passport, etc., mobile phone, any medicines you may need (so they cannot lose them in your baggage) , and just relax. Your English is better than most Americans! I can't wait to see your SHOT Show videos!
Very happy for you Vanessa! For your flight: earplugs, motion sickness medicine (Dramamine), wet wipes, snacks, empty water bottle (for you to use in terminal past security, bottled water is very expensive at the airport), & gum.
Congrats and enjoy your trip! Traveling with someone you know (rather than alone) is probably the best tip. It will be a lonnggg trip, so a pillow and some reading material will help. Airplane engine noise doesn't bother me, but some folks appreciate ear plugs to help them sleep. Some folks get air-sick so some anti-nausea pills might be wise. Check the luggage you can, but definitely take a small "carry-on" bag with your essentials. Bags do get lost and are not always "found" swiftly. "Rules" have changed a bit since I last flew so pay more attention to others than you do me. The airlines and/or ticket agencies should have very good suggestions and requirements. One thing to do in advance is to check out the airport layouts (map) online if you can. It will help orient you and give you an idea of the distance between connections ... and your motel locations. Your English is quite good, but a translator / dictionary can be useful even if your English is perfect. I wish you could spend some time traveling the countryside. America has some wonderful sights to see and visit. Las Vegas is extremely unique and not quite like the rest of the USA. Good luck, relax (you're a survivalist adventurist so you already know how to adapt!) and definitely enjoy the trip. Welcome to America!!
Hello Vanessa; 1, travel can be frustrating, but take it in stride, don't let a delay or missed connection get to you, you will make it to the SHOT SHOW. 2; Pace yourself. The Shot Show is HUGE and nearly impossible to see it all in just a couple days, so, find the companies that you want to see for sure, make them your priority that way you get to see and talk to them, then you can see other things as you go. 3; Take in the sights while you are there. Enjoy what Las Vegas has to offer, try to get to Freemont Street, its an exciting experience. 4; There are plenty of neat things to see outside of Las Vegas in the desert - if you have the time. 5; Just have fun, eat great food and have a nice drink - enjoy yourself and this experience! Sadly I will not be there this year, but perhaps one day we will see each other at the big show.
You will like it. just keep a open and fun mind. I am german from Hanau . my mom marrid a US soldier and i have lived in USA most of my life including Vegas fo 10 years. it is very different than Bayern. even Vegas has changed much in last 4 years but life is more fun when you do new things...be safe
WOW! So glad you are going to come to America! I hope your trip goes very well, and of course I am looking forward to seeing your videos from Shotshow 2024! When you are flying into Las Vegas, just remember that while it looks like you are coming to a total dystopian nightmare city in the desert, most of the rest of the USA looks NOTHING like this, haha! My only wish is that I could make the trip from Georgia to meet you there. Safe travels and pleasant journey, my friend! Much love from the USA ❤🤍💙
A friend of mine took her children to every State in the USA she could drive to in one summer, quite the adventure, all in a Ford escort wagon, hiked and camped the Appalachian trail with her children and she later recumbent cycled the USA coast to coast (Lucinda Chandler). I see that adventurous free spirit in you. Enjoy your time here in the states.
The Shot Show will require a lot of patience. The crowd is massive so it's shoulder to shoulder. The last day will be much less hectic. Good luck and have fun.
It is so nice to see you again, Vanessa! And congratulations on you upcoming trip... it is a huge life adventure, I loved your talk, especially when you said"you know that's a great quote! I really like knives, and, you can never have too many" That is a quote I will look for an opportunity to use! Oh my...Vegas... it is a unique but completely synthetic universe of It's own ,and gigantic. It will be for you so interesting, the people, the gun show, the airplane trip itself... yes, it is a little scary, first time, but things will all come together and work out for you.... I wish you so much good Vanessa, and much love always, from the Oregon Coast, your friend, Al
Congratulations Vanessa on your latest adventure. I envy you. I would love to go and visit place like Montana and Yellow stone. I am sure LAs Vegas will be most memorable also! Stay safe and have a great time!
Hi Vanessa. Greetings again from Mount Hood, Oregon. Congratulations! Great to hear that you and a friend are coming here to the US. I have friends who go to the Shot Show. I hope you have a great time...Safe travel, and totally enjoy your visit. If you ever travel to Oregon in the future, please let me know. I will gladly give you suggestions of places here to visit. **Hug**
WELCOME TO AMERICA Vanessa. I live in North Carolina and have NO interest in ever seeing Las Vegas…but if I was going to go…it would ONLY be to attend Shot Show. So many people I admire are going to be there, special forces vets, tactical channel TH-camrs, gunsmiths, knife smiths, etc. I am also a HUGE knife fan. I am the only woman I know who has a minimum of 1 knife on me at all times! My favorite pocket knife is made in Solingen, Germany….The Boker Warhawk. I LOVE Boker Knives! Have fun, stay safe and keep us informed of your trip!
Happy for you for you first flight, and especially to visit Las Vegas How epic is that, I am sure you will enjoy the area make sure you at least visit the strip ( Downtown). Have Fun safe journey.
Hi Vanessa Have fun in Vegas. If you get the chance don't miss attending range day at shot show so you can shoot all the new guns coming out this year.
It will be a very tiring trip to Vegas. Sleep when you can. It is unfortunate that you will not have a chance to explore the whole country, but there are many wonderful nature sights to see that are near Las Vegas. You can go by car in a few hours. There are also tour buses.
Congratulations on going to the SHOT show, it sounds like great fun! I have not been to Vegas but I have been near there at Fort Irwin a couple times in the Army. Try and rent a car and drive out of town, the desert scenery there is amazing! The air is very dry and clear so a mountain that looks a few miles away may be twice as far. Some great backgrounds for videos for sure. Oh yeah, dry skin and chapped lips can be a problem. Enjoy your trip!
Vanessa, I have lived in the USA all my life on the east coast and have traveled all over the country. I’ve been to Vagas 3 times and it’s like no other place in the USA. It’s a show town, entertainment town so don’t think it represents anything to the rest of the USA. It surely is an exciting place to visit. Have Fun but as always ….. be safe❣️
Lucky girl Wildwoman Vanessa👍👍 Viva Las Vegas! You'll love it, a crazy big city in the desert. Shot Show is insane fun, too much to see in one day. Usually have to be a business or vendor to get in. Looking forward to your review, it will be fun. Enjoy flying!
I really hope you enjoy your visit to USA. Your English is more than enough to get by. Maybe some day you and your family could drive across the US and see how beautiful it is, especially places like the Grand Canyon. Enjoy your visit!
Listening to you explain how you will feel And not knowing what to expect I can relate. I'll bring my whole life In Texas mostly country rural areas I would feel the same thing about going to Las Vegas🙂🥰
Enjoy your time Vanessa in America. So glad for you just relax on the long flight they will move you along don't worry. Don't carry your bushcraft knife on you to airport. You can pack your bushcraft items in your luggage. You need to come and hike the Shenandoah National Park . Have fun 😊
My first flight was by myself. I flew to Melbourne Australia from Maryland , USA when I was 46 and stayed with people I didn't know and in a backpackers hotel . It was great! My buddies there were very nice. Friends for life.
Buckle up, set back, and enjoy your flight. The plane is pressurized so you should not have trouble breathing. I keep swallowing so my ears keep popping so they don’t get plugged. I take a small backpack with a light jacket (I get cold), something to read, my iPad, iPhone, wallet, and for snack/drink I buy it at the terminal after I get through security and throw it in my backpack. Also a change of cloths incase I get separated from my luggage unless I’m just taking a carryon and my backpack. ENJOY!!
Sounds like you are in for the adventure of a lifetime - I am sure you will be amazed at what you will see - As far as travel trips go, pace yourself so you don't get over tired - Always keep valuables secure - Whenever I travel by car or air I always have a supply of snacks - May sound silly but they always come in handy - Have a safe trip and enjoy yourself.
I love your aquarium. I had one when I was younger, a salt water one. Please don't let your opinion of America be tainted by your experience. This country is grand. It has its faults to be sure, but in the grand scope, it is home for me. I spent time in Germany, Bavaria, Munich. Your country is much like my homeland. Please have a wonderful experience here in America, and please come back again! Have a wonderful experience!
Vanessa don't worry just sit back and let the air hostess look after you , they will have everything you will need , you will be fine so enjoy the city of neon signs. ❤️Vanessa.
😇💖💖 Safe travels Vanessa. Welcome to America. There is an amazing nature area called the Valley of Fire close to Las Vegas. Check it out if you can find the time.
Your so funny at times Vanessa, almost like a young girl on Christmas morning. I'm sure Jorg and America will well look after you and you never know you may get the flying bug.Totally different LA from Germany but I am sure you will love it and you well deserve a special treat in good company. just remember for the first flight, relax, relax and relax is the secret. America awaits you and of course we will be waiting to see your happy smile and what your up to when your there. Enjoy.
Vanessa I hope you have a wonderful trip to the USA and I am sure you and Jorg will have a great time at Shot Show. Don't stress over the air travel, statistically it is safer than travel by auto. Private citizen ownership of firearms in the US has in some cases become controversial. Fortunately the Second Amendment to our Constitution protects this right. Shot Show is the biggest event of it's kind and you and Jorg will have the opportunity of a lifetime to see such a wide variety of guns and related gear. Safe travels!
Hello my Friend! Welcome to a version of America! Once you get on the plane and into your seat, ask the first stewardess that comes your way for a blanket and a pillow. Those international flights always get cold (no matter how many vodkas you've had! LOL) and they may even have eye covers to help you sleep. Most of the flight is boring with nothing much to see except ocean from 36000 feet. Rest, relax and you will enjoy your visit! Sending much love from the Great Smokey mountains in Tennessee ~~*~^^*~^^^*~
I’m in Colorado. Las Vegas is a very common trip for fun. First: Las Vegas is the desert. It wouldn’t exist if water wasn’t diverted from a large river. You must drink water constantly. Prepare for dry skin. Your English is very good. Don’t be afraid to speak with anyone. You can ask anyone you meet about any ideas, recommendations, directions or whatever. Las Vegas is very much a party city. It’s a party around the clock. Regarding firearms, I recommend visiting a Las Vegas shooting range. It’s affordable, and most of them have a wide range of firearms available to rent at a reasonable price. You can purchase ammunition there as well. When you arrive, it’s at McCarron Airport which is nice, easy to navigate and very close to downtown. Depending where you stay, they may have a shuttle bus that will take you directly to your hotel. If not, you can grab a taxi immediately from the airport exit. The hotels have giant windows, but also very heavy curtains so you can make your room very dark so you can get some sleep even if your internal clock is off. Bring a swimsuit. Almost every hotel has a nice pool. If you want any more info, leave a note here. You’re going to have so much fun
You need to take an early morning, and run out to Red Rocks Canyon and hike up the hills to overlook the city at sunrise, with your friends. It is an EPIC park, and easy to do and gives a little flavor of how amazing the desert and the city is. Also great for a sunset....
Vanessa when you come to America I hope your trip to and from Las Vegas is without any stress. In Las Vegas there is a lot to see please take your time and enjoy sending my love.🌹♥️🌹🖖
How cool, you will have a blast I'm sure. Lots of cool weapons. I went to Las Vegas as a kid it was overwhelming, I also love the country like you.Have fun.
WOW!!! IM EXCITED FOR YOU !! Greetings from Massachusetts!! Hope your trip is fantastic!! Remember, what happens in Vegas stay s in Vegas. Bring a good book to read, it's a long flight. Dont bring no guns with ya!! IF you take air sickness pill, take it before you leave. It helps.
we glad to hear you're coming to Vagas , V ! ❤😊 ... if you get the opportunity , you may want to drive in the Nevada desert , and visit the old ghost towns , and the abandoned mining camps ... I love the History as well as the Bushcraft ... you always do so well , and we only wish you every success and every Blessing ❤
I'm so jealous, I've never been to America or Las Vegas 🤪 Some Tips for flying that I always use when flying to South Africa: wear comfortable clothes, something without a belt is best. Wear sneakers or comfortable shoes for when you have to walk from one gate to another, sometimes the gates are far apart. Make sure all your bottles are smaller than 100ml or they will make you throw it away at security check. If you carry any nail files or anything that might look sharp put it in your check in luggage, not in hand luggage. There are many more tips but you'll be fine no matter what.
Welcome to America Vanessa. Don’t worry about your flight. Once you are seated and comfortable it will be fine. Las Vegas is the world’s biggest circus. My favorite thing to do was sit in the coffee shop at the casino we stayed in and look out at the crazy things people do while gambling. While you are in US check out a Sportsman Warehouse. Lots of things to look at concerning outdoor activities. Yellowstone is a fantastic place to see if you get a chance. There is no place in the world like it. Have fun.
Vanessa, everything will be fine. Even if the plane is late (which it likely won't), no worries. You'll get there. I hope you enjoy your trip. The state of Nevada, where Las Vegas is located, is largely desert, which may be a different vibe for you. If you can swing it, I would love to see your bushcraft skills in a place like Montana, Colorado or Wyoming. If you want snow....wow....they've got snow!! Maybe, a good idea for a future trip. Just know that Americans will welcome you, wherever you go.
Don’t worry about flying. Travel is so easy these days. Pack lite and remember, the only things you absolutely need are your tickets and your passport. Everything is you can easily get in America. You probably already know but best to have a plan for your cellphone coverage. Otherwise, enjoy the ride. I hope we can connect when you ‘Go live’. Don’t worry about jet lag, you will be so excited you won’t experience it until you return home.
Vanessa the first time I flew in an airplane was because my mother was sick. I was terrified! Since then I have flown to Florida many times. I kind of enjoy it. Although the flight is only an hour and thirty minutes. I have bad anxiety so a trick I learned in case of turbulence is to find three different colors around me or find three things that start with A B and C. I know it sounds crazy but it tricks your brain into calming down. I saw a video on tic tic when a plane was experiencing turbulence and some people were scared to death and then the camera pans to two small feet of a child that was scrolling Netflix with those toes😂😂. The screen was one of the tv monitors for movies. This child had evidently flew many times and knew what to expect. I think about that if I get nervous. I’m so happy you’re coming to the states and I hope you have a great time. Just don’t gamble and drink 😂. Don’t believe everything you hear about the states. People are so nice and helpful. Take lots of pictures and videos to share with us!
Welcome to the USA. You will have a good time. There’s a lot of outdoor activities in the area (hiking, Hover Dam). There’s also several gun ranges where you can rent and shoot guns. Have fun and stay safe.
I think that you're going to enjoy your time in Las Vegas. I'm sure you've done some research on what to expect in America vrs Germany. And your English is very good, so I don't think that you'll have problems communicating with the locals. But keep in mind that America is massive compared to European countries. Not only in size but we like everything big. I highly recommend going to a BBQ restaurant while in the states. Not only are they one of my favorite restaurants to goto, but watching TH-cam of other guests from around the world coming here, I can tell that they are very impressed with everything about them. I wish I was in the area, because I would have enjoyed meeting you. If you ever find yourself in or near Michigan, I could give you a tour. I've always wanted to go to this show, but for me Las Vegas is to far for me to travel at the moment. But I'm glad that you're able to take it off your bucket list.
Tip: Keep Jorg around as a bodyguard and don’t gamble!
Vanessa, please make some time time to see the Mohave Desert. A 1 or 2 hour drive from Las Vegas, you and Jorg can be in very remote areas of Nevada and Utah.

Las Vegas is not for Hermits, most definatley for people living in this century.....

Everything goes well, you'll see! Have a great time! I'm looking forward to new videos, once you've recovered from the trip! Take care Vanessa! 😀🤗💖🦊
So Happy for you!...Welcome to America!
wow! I hope you have a great flight and enjoy your first visit to America!
Good luck on your trip. I'm sure it will be amazing!!
It will be great! I'm sure you will have a great time, and you will have the perfect company with you. All the best on your tour!
Hi Vanessa
Have fun in Vegas.
I was a custom rifle builder/ gunsmith for 25 years you will love the shot show .
Welcome to the USA!! hope you have a wonderful trip and enjoy your time here 😁
Vanessa, I have lived in the USA all my life on the east coast and have traveled all over the country.
Window seat will help you sleep because you can lean against the side. Earplugs help too. - Wishing you a great trip!
Hope your adventure to the U.S. is a good one. Wish you the best.🙂
You will have a Great Time at Shot Snow and enjoy your flights. Stay Safe.
I'm excited for you, Vanessa! If you are flying over Maine, give me a wave....have fun!🙂.
Friends for life.
you are going to love the feeling of flying, its that feeling in your stomach on a roller coaster
ENJOY!!
You’re gonna love the Shot show, and you’ll have smooth sailing all the way!😃👍
Sounds like you are in for the adventure of a lifetime - I am sure you will be amazed at what you will see - As far as travel trips go, pace yourself so you don't get over tired - Always keep valuables secure - Whenever I travel by car or air I always have a supply of snacks - May sound silly but they always come in handy - Have a safe trip and enjoy yourself.
I would suggest taking earplugs or earphones that block outside sound, since there is a constant noise in the plane, which I find to be very tiring.
Welcome to America. There are some beautiful things around Vegas.
Hello and much love from New York. So excited for your trip! 🗽
You need to take an early morning, and run out to Red Rocks Canyon and hike up the hills to overlook the city at sunrise, with your friends. It is an EPIC park, and easy to do and gives a little flavor of how amazing the desert and the city is. Also great for a sunset....
"What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas.” ❤✌
You'll love it, Vanessa. I've been to Vegas like 20 times or so. Cool place, watch out for the one arm bandits! Lol
Vanessa when you come to America I hope your trip to and from Las Vegas is without any stress. In Las Vegas there is a lot to see please take your time and enjoy sending my love.🌹♥️🌹🖖

It helps.
You look happy and gorgeous as ever. Well done for plucking up the courage and Jorg is bat shit bonkers so it will be fun 😂❤
Glad you came to the usa.... think about visiting Florida sometime. Proud of your courage and skills. Keep it up
we glad to hear you're coming to Vagas , V ! ❤😊
...
if you get the opportunity , you may want to drive in the Nevada desert , and visit the old ghost towns , and the abandoned mining camps ...
I wish you well.and I'm looking forward in seeing all your videos ❤
Welcome to America Vanessa. Don’t worry about your flight. Once you are seated and comfortable it will be fine. Las Vegas is the world’s biggest circus. My favorite thing to do was sit in the coffee shop at the casino we stayed in and look out at the crazy things people do while gambling. While you are in US check out a Sportsman Warehouse. Lots of things to look at concerning outdoor activities. Yellowstone is a fantastic place to see if you get a chance. There is no place in the world like it. Have fun.
Welcome To America!
You'll love it here!
Is Jorg a friend also welcome to you both
Be safe and have a WONDERFUL time.
Enjoy your trip and welcome to the USA!
Hi Vanessa, that is very exciting. I have never been there. But I'm happy for you!
Just know that Americans will welcome you, wherever you go.
i am so happy for you guys. hopefully you will be able to stop by to California.
There’s so many wildlife states an hunting states maybe more than you can imagine where ever you go enjoy your time in America
Welcome to the US!!! Hope you have a nice stay here.
Excellent, you will love the shot show!! Just take your time ,take advantage of the free gun try outs there, the shooting ranges are great..
You worry too much girl, Just go with the flow 👍👍 enjoy and you will enjoy 👌. 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
Have a great trip you will enjoy it for sure. Just remember we don"t all look like some you see in Vegas lol..God Bless!
Forget about Vegas and come to the blue ridge mountains here in Virginia. Safe travels Vanessa
