10 years ago something similar to this happened to me, false claims of physical abuse all to cover up her adultery and theft of thousands of dollars as well as my 2008 mustang GT convertible. I was fired by my female boss/owner and had my credit destroyed. it took me years to recover from this, seeing and hearing this brings back memories I put in the past. this gold-digging P.O.S. should be jailed for her lies, if not worst...

Dan, I truly feel sorry that happened to you. It was so hard for me to watch this trial when that despicable liar was on the stand because she's just like my son's ex-2 time fiance and now just girlfriend (maybe)but with a boyfriend if you know what I mean? My son got a huge inheritance she sought him out and talked him into moving her in. He proposed to her in November the ring wasn't good enough so he had to go buy one that was three times more expensive and then in January she needed to leave him for 2 weeks to find the Gypsy in herself. She stayed gone for 7 months instead and said she was living with a college girlfriend and would only speak to my son Early in the morning by text for the next 7 months. She then came back all of a sudden and then had to confess to him because he found a conversation on her laptop when she left it open that she considered him her mistake but with money while talking to the ex. She then had to confess to him that it wasn't a girl she was living with but her ex. She then manipulated, love bombed, gaslighted and tricked him into giving her a second engagement ring, put her name on more accounts and then she stole pretty much all of his money I'm talking hundreds of thousands, she took the title to his carf, forged his name and took it. She's now living in Denver, Colorado and told my son that she was living with a gay EX college friend but now she's telling my son that he's not gay and she's in love with him but he kicked her out to go back with his wife and she wants my son to now be her friend but also on standby in case she decides she wants to come back home to him. I have no clue why my son is being so blind and staying with this girl? Can you shed any light for me?
Sadly public opinion doesn’t clear his name. I lived through this and lost my twin girls and I have all the support from family and friends and the twins moms family is on my side but the damage their mom did to me is done and can’t be fixed. My life is destroyed and there ain’t no coming back from it. People say the past is the past, sadly a lot of people live in the past and have influence on my daughters. Doesn’t matter how much my family or my ex wife’s family tries to tell them about me and the truth, the damage is done and their mind is set because of their mother and her lies. No court and no word from public opinion has changed the twins minds , no facts or evidence or even warrants out for their mother in Texas, that has made little to no impact on them wanting to be a part of my life. I attempted suicide and failed at that and came back and found god again and I pray every day that they finally come to the truth and know that I am a good father. They still need to love and respect their mother, they need to know that she made a simple mistake and a lie to cover for her own bad choices in life. I am a SURVIVOR of sexual and emotional abuse by my ex husband. If I was as severely affected by the PTSD as she claims I would not be able to sit there with that nose in the air. Just typing this ties my stomach is in knots. It is inconceivable that she could look at Johnny much less act as if nothing could touch her. Yes you develop armor. You have to. But to be able to face him in that matter had that occurred to me I would not be that controlled in making sure every answer faced toward the jury in the manner in which she did. It should become a crime or some consequence for making a false accusation. The#metoo movement was a valuable aid in the fight against domestic violence. Physical abuse male/female takes it's toll on your mentally and the physical part isn't always obvious...but there are certain things we all have in common. There is also another thing most women who have experienced it will be able to be put in a room full of men and she can sense/point out the abusers amongst them. l think the difference between this couple is she is the aggressor and had the information of his history and knew the triggers or buttons to activate him into being aggressive. When it doesn't work she then looses her temper and gets wound up because he won't respond how she wants him too. A lot of taunting on her part. He resorts to dark humour to try and avoid things which escalates her demean and makes her more aggressive which leads to more tantrums l would also guess even down to self abuse. I know in my case l tried to be the quieter one hoping that if l didn't respond or make matters worse things would settle down and of course this didn't work for me only made the situation worse. It's like when a child is beaten and refuses to cry the abuser gets worse not the opposite.
My understanding is Narcissistic ppl (NPD ) are very good at convincing themselves to believe in something other than the truth if that something else eases them. Yes it’s gaslighting themselves but it’s also a defense mechanism for them because their egos are very fragile. Without this survival mechanism, they’re more prone to suicide, at least at higher rates. Something like that. It’s very sad. Now Amber was diagnosed with two personality disorders in the cluster B personality traits with narcissists and my understanding is that cluster B personalities are also very narcissistic, so there’s a chance she’s convinced herself on some level that she’s a victim. Whether or not she believes her entire made up story or not, as long as she believes that she’s there seeking justice, she has no shame.

Surprised you can "object" in closing statements. Here in Canada you can't do that. Closing statements are for both side in the case to NOT be interrupted, for the jury to have thoughts before giving THIER vertic.

I am a SURVIVOR of sexual and emotional abuse by my ex husband. If I was as severely affected by the PTSD as she claims I would not be able to sit there with that nose in the air. Just typing this ties my stomach is in knots. It is inconceivable that she could look at Johnny much less act as if nothing could touch her. Yes you develop armor. You have to. But to be able to face him in that matter had that occurred to me I would not be that controlled in making sure every answer faced toward the jury in the manner in which she did. She is still looking haughtily as if nothing can touch her. She cannot even believe her lies will affect her. It is appalling!

I used to be a sexual assault/domestic violence counselor and case manager and you better believe you can tell who is a true victim and who is not...but...with that being said ...anyone in that profession is trained to always believe until otherwise proven not to. But at the same time I was appalled at the number of men speaking out about their partner violence and also men and women being falsely accused.

Physical abuse male/female takes it's toll on your mentally and the physical part isn't always obvious...but there are certain things we all have in common. There is also another thing most women who have experienced it will be able to be put in a room full of men and she can sense/point out the abusers amongst them. l think the difference between this couple is she is the aggressor and had the information of his history and knew the triggers or buttons to activate him into being aggressive. When it doesn't work she then looses her temper and gets wound up because he won't respond how she wants him too. A lot of taunting on her part. He resorts to dark humour to try and avoid things which escalates her demean and makes her more aggressive which leads to more tantrums l would also guess even down to self abuse. I know in my case l tried to be the quieter one hoping that if l didn't respond or make matters worse things would settle down and of course this didn't work for me only made the situation worse. It's like when a child is beaten and refuses to cry the abuser gets worse not the opposite.

Now Amber was diagnosed with two personality disorders in the cluster B personality traits with narcissists and my understanding is that cluster B personalities are also very narcissistic, so there’s a chance she’s convinced herself on some level that she’s a victim.
