You'll learn to do shorthand eventually. If you have ever attended a college lecture or lecture style classes you pick it up. In those settings, if you disrupt the flow you're told to leave. So you do shorthand and if you've any questions, wait for a tutorial/workshop or if you're cushie with the lecturer you could ask them after.

It's because almost no one teaches it anymore unfortunately. I teach 3rd and 4th combined class and bet your ass they have beautiful cursive when they leave me.
Nicole C I was taught cursive in 3rd and 4th haha. My hand writing is a mix between cursive and print. I write so fast and small it’s not the best it could be if I put time into it haha. My mom (who’s a teacher) has tried to work with me but it didn’t do much
@@rhyan19 At least you were taught! I tell my kids they will/can develop their own style but to learn how to do it first. Like you, I also have a print/cursive hybrid. My kids can read my cursive notes to them though, not something every student in school these days can do.
We were given one week in 3rd grade to learn cursive before state tests interrupted the lessons and we never touched the subject again.
I still don't know how to write cursive tbh.
