Hey ! Anyone knows how to keep the routing of the ggd inside the kit ? I mean the ouputs at the bottom stays as i want but within GGD when i open my project and click stereo nothing stays as i set it before.. Thank you Chris for all those helpful videos !!
Cool tip… if you put a midi effects rack before kontakt, create a seperate chain for each midi mappable hit (eg snare hit, snare flam etc) then assign each chain to the correct midi note. Once you enable show names in midi editor, you now have the name of the hit instead of C1 D1 E1 etc. hope this makes sense…
Another great video. I just wish GGD would add more Meinl cymbals we could use. Like different line ups from the Pure Alloy, to the Classic custom Darks, and many more lines ups of different Meinl Cymbals (Except for the HCS Lineup). I think it would be amazing if we had the option to use any kind of cymbals we wanted to on any drum library kits.
@@colinmitchell1287 It does sound like a waste of time but that would be amazing. Whether it makes sense or not I just wish they would add more cymbals and spoil us even more. I’m new to all this drum MIDI stuff so I’m barely getting into the groove so I don’t know what Frankensteining is
i'm getting the strangest bleed from what sounds like the room but ONLY for snare and toms, coming through the kick (midi) channel. The kick is still there but there's also reverb from the snare and toms
I encountered the same problem. It seems that the master reverb fader is coming through output 1/2 which is your kick channel. Turn the reverb fader down and it will solve the problem. It just means adding your own reverb to your tracks. I'm not sure if there is a work around to get the reverb on an aux or separate channel. Someone else might chime in with a solution.
Need more Chris Bedan videos
HINT HINT Chris lol
how do you route the reverb?

Yep, T3TRA UK has a tutorial for how to do this for GGD. You can screenshot the default key mapping in the GGD Kit Settings.
I need more output like 24, but Ableton just reconize 16 channels on the Kontakt 7 Midi Bus. Can you help me?
Thanks man!

With the amount of recording that would entail, it won't make sense.
But, if you really wanted. Just Frankenstein cymbals from different kits.
