  • The USAID West Africa Trade & Investment Hub (Trade Hub) is a 5-year, $108.5 million initiative enhancing private sector competitiveness in West Africa through a market-based approach. Supported by USAID missions across West Africa and funding from the U.S. Government's Prosper Africa and Feed the Future initiatives, the Trade Hub promotes co-investment activities to attract new private-sector capital investment in critical sectors, fostering job creation and increasing two-way trade.
    Thus far, In Nigeria the Trade Hub awarded $26.6 million in co-investment grants to 33 private sector partners, leveraging a total of $171 million in private sector investment resulting in the creation of 26,252 jobs and the support of 288,043 farmers, and has generated $399 million in agricultural commodity sales.
