@@parisjackson9310 I LOVED Elvis as well but mostly in his movies! For some reason I preferred Ricky Nelson to Elvis,LOVED his shy sweet personality. Elvis DEFINITELY had the moves though.
Here is a man, a singer/songwriter, Mr. Rick Nelson whom I have followed since back in the days of black and white only television shows. I remember waiting anxiously from week to week until the day when The Ozzie and Harriet Nelson tv show would be aired. I would sit glued to the floor thoroughly enjoying every second of the show and hoping that Ricky Nelson would have a part on the show where he would sing. This man has a voice like no other entertainer has or will ever have, and, in my opinion, that is all he needs. He needs no gymicks to shine far brighter than any other STAR shines, here on earth or way up high on the Heaven above. Ricky Nelson you have captured my heart for now and for all of God's Eternity. May you rest in peace in that special place that Jesus went before you to prepare for each one of us. God loves you unconditionally, and so do I. I miss your face, your music, and your Godly Spirit. I love you for who you are... chacho 😻
How funny to see Bob Uecker, the MLB catcher with the lowest batting average in history, but a really funny guy! I love this later song of Ricky's. It's so mellow and relaxing. He was around 41 here and looking sooo good!
From my earliest age, any and every time Rick was on TV, I was sitting in front of it, watching. There have been a million singers with incredible voices and styles, and I'm admittedly fans of theirs, but for me, this man is THE ONE. No voice; no style has captured my heart the way Rick Nelson did. I miss him.
I miss Him too,He was my first Crush when l was just a Kid,but l Loved Ricky,l actually got to See Him and l melted it was in the late 70s He bent down and was singing to Me,l was so excited l don’t even remember the song♥️
This was such a great album and Rick seemed happy... I'm a 2nd generation fan and my Mom thought that this was one of his best albums since the early 60s! Our family enjoyed it so much that we went from vinyl to cassette to eventually CD so that we could always enjoy it while driving. Rick was and still is such an underrated talent but never by his fans! I know that he's rockin' in Heaven with all the other legends!
I have always enjoyed listening Ricky Nelso 's - aka Rick Nelson's Music. My favourite song is " Garden Party " .......as he just came back on the scene, & people expected him to sing his " Oldies" Plus he had grown into a handsome man...." nobody recognises him" ....... I feel this way., afterv years., 9f not seeing old fr into from school....... Thank you Mr. Rick Nelxon..we missc your shining star! 🎶🎵📰♥️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟☄☄☄☄☄🌇🌴🎖🏆💔♥️🕯.
I could listen to his music d Ay and night I just loved him I remember when he got killed I was working at a bank on afternoons when it ca.e on news I think we all cried it was just so sad I think I had all his 45s
(The first song) It Hasn't Happened Yet You said that I would be sorry if you went away You said I wouldn't be happy without hell to pay You said the teardrops would fall Between the bedroom walls You said that I would regret But it hasn't happened yet Your friends come over and offer to take me to eat They seem so sorry I'm sufferin' so much misery They say, give me a call, next time I start to crawl I always say, yeah you bet But it hasn't happened yet I don't have anyone, I'm havin' lots of fun No one is into me, no ones a mystery I see you on the street, my heart don't skip a beat All your hostility, don't mean a thing to me I find it hard to remember, the good times we had Call me insensitive, now that it's over I'm glad You said that when shadows fell It would be to hard to tell My life from your silhouette But it hasn't happened yet Hasn't happened yet
I never saw this. That Playing To Win album was good. It is a shame that his post teen idol music was so under appreciated. Loved the Stone Canyon Band years.

Rick Nelson, the one guy Elvis looked up to, and loved his band & music 🎶🎵
Rubbish; Elvis looked up to serious songwriters and musical talents such as Chuck Berry.
Nice song, need to really listen to thecwords.😊
I Love this I'm 23 years old and I listen to Ricky Nelson and I watch his family show Ozzie and Harriet...
On ne l oubliera jamais, tellement beau, ses chansons sont magnifiques, tendres, il nous manque beaucoup, ❤❤❤❤bonjour de France🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
Merci 🤗
My father playing lead guitar
Very sorry for your loss.
Be sure at your heart, your daddy was one of the greatest!
He was great, Jodi! I was just looking at a bunch of photos of the band & in every one, he’s smiling!
He was always one of my favorite guitarists!
A classic has that staying power. Like fine wine he got better. He was friends with Elvis who admired him.
I agree I loved that guy❤

Rick was handsome and young looking. Here he looked 27 but was actually 41 years old!
Not knowing he would leave this world 4 years later.RIP

AWESOME song!!! GONE TO SOOOOON!!!💟💟😩😩🎀🎀
One of the greats!
Wow! Beautiful. He sure could sing.
(The first song) It Hasn't Happened Yet
You said that I would be sorry if you went away
You said I wouldn't be happy without hell to pay
You said the teardrops would fall
Between the bedroom walls
You said that I would regret
But it hasn't happened yet
Your friends come over and offer to take me to eat
They seem so sorry I'm sufferin' so much misery
They say, give me a call, next time I start to crawl
I always say, yeah you bet
But it hasn't happened yet
I don't have anyone, I'm havin' lots of fun
No one is into me, no ones a mystery
I see you on the street, my heart don't skip a beat
All your hostility, don't mean a thing to me
I find it hard to remember, the good times we had
Call me insensitive, now that it's over I'm glad
You said that when shadows fell
It would be to hard to tell
My life from your silhouette
But it hasn't happened yet
Hasn't happened yet
Excellent thank you 👍❤️😘🎤

isnt it a fogerty song ? anyway ricks is best version this band were great ,

I don't believe that rick and band were doing drugs on their plane that went down . that is just some ugly gossip someone got started,

Rick did not die because of drugs. The nstb proved that! It was the cabin heater. The pilots said they. Not doing drugs these are the facts!!!!!!!!
