I can remember during one particularly awesome moment when I was in concert band in college, during one of the rare moments when we were really listening to each other, us flutists had a posture similar to that. Us flutes had a solo part in the Ralph Vaugh Williams song we were playing (A Basket of Eggs) and when it came time to play, all four of us instinctively leaned in toward one another and NAILED IT. It was awesome! ...and it never happened again, that I recall. :-(
Oh yea! But hey! It really fits with the mood of that particular part. You know that sneaky feeling you get from the music? The posture is kinda sneaky too. Fun and playful!
One of my favorite pieces - how could anyone NOT like this???

Thanks for this wonderful treat.
A brilliant example of ingenious instrumentation by Mozart. A true conosseur! Good performance!
My music... They started without me..

These guys are awesome!!
BRAVISSIMIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I enjoyed listening to this piece on period musical instruments. The blend is much nicer, mellower, than modern instruments.
Wunderbar!

It's the "pp" posture :-) we can't do without it ;-)
at 1:46, hilarious posture...
Same from me!
Excellent playing! And noob question here: is the "ppppp" posture necessary to get the required sound out?
No, but it is much more fun with it! 😁
Of COURSE it is! As a clarinetist, I can say this for certain. The eyebrows are obligatory!
I thought the Gran Partita was for wind only.
String bass is sometimes preferred over double bassoon and was indicated in the score as there are pizz markings.
