I didn’t see “Healer’” until ~ May 2019 ~ and I begun following the Actor/Artist #JiChangWook shortly after watching another Netflix series he was in called Suspicious Partner. I also watched him in the series called Empress Ki. I am now an avid fan. I like his clean, well mannered, charming good looks and amiable fun loving behaviour. I like that he has loads of patience and portrays an enormous amounts of respect, love and care for all his fans, friends, and followers, I particularly am enamoured by the love, honour and respect he has for his mother.
This is the first time i've gotten interest on Ji Chang Wook. He's just soooooo. urgh!~ He totally replaced my #1 korean actor crush just like that. A very talented actor who's able to communicate every subtle nuance of emotion! You should watch Empress Ki although the emperor he played was depicted as an unfavorable weakling and jealous freak. I started noticing him in EK and followed him to Healer. Finally the writer/PD let him shine with irresistible charisma in Healer. JCW has become my new obsession and I can only google him to fill the void between each Healer episode. Hahah.....I'm so addicted....LOL....

Then you'll realize he actually did most of the action scenes himself, including rooftop parkour, jumping and tumbling over high rise building, spiderman wall crawling, the fascinating gymnastic bar fighting at the end of ep 2 (?), and of course all the martial arts. In an interview, Healer's renowned action director praised him a lot for his talent compared with other action actors. But he's too humble to gather all the attention around himself. Instead, he gives all the credits to his double. Ppl may mistakenly believe stunt doubles did those action scenes for him because of that. Knowing him doing those wired high-risk action himself, my obsession with him is now beyond remedy. LOL....

It's my first time discovering him through this drama but I only decided to give Healer a try because of him (saw gifs, etc. around Tumblr) and oh my god. LOL. I can't be any happier with my decision because damn, he's the sole definition of a hot mess kekekek. No seriously though, omfg. I loved his character so so much - his badass sides as Healer, his dorky cute sides as Park Bong Soo, his loving soft side as Jung Hoo. It's the first time in forever that I actually marathoned a whole entire series without break. No regrets.
Healer is the best drama JCW ever had. same with PMY. better than K2 and City Hunter. Their tandem is so different. Hope they will work again for another action/romcom movie.

I'm from Hawaii, a new fan of Ji Chang Wook. For some reason, JCW is the one and only actor that drives me insanely demented. I was never a fan of any Korean Actor before except for now with a JCW. None of the Korean Actor's I've seen so far in my 27 years can compare to JCW's talented acting as well as his tantalizing looks . Seriously, he knows how to magnetize you.😃his alluringly handsome looks is mesmerizing. 😍
This drama is so addicting. I only discovered it a few days ago because of some gif sets I saw on Tumblr. I watched all of the episodes in one sitting. I can't wait for episode 10. Ji-Chang Wook is so so lovely, he really makes you feel for his character and the way Healer/Bong Soo/Jung Hoo long for Young-Shin to know and love all aspects of him. They are all amazing actors and I can't wait to see what the outcome will be.

I really enjoyed this Video. It's one of the best I've seen. And I had just finished watching The Healer for the 10th time. It's one to watch for the great and interesting storyline, many times over for the romance, humor, action and great acting ability of all the performers. And the finale with personal photos of the different actor's posing with each other together was enjoyable to see. And of course, we all love The Healer!

This drama is like a re-make of Lee Minho's City Hunter , same idea with only some differences & it has a similar covert action hero, i love Healer for reminding me of City Hunter :)
They're totally different. There's just action scenes that may remind you of Shitty Hunter, but the action scenes, acting and romance are 10 times better in Healer
Jonida Sanço better? maybe for you, not for me, specially the acting & the action, in city hunter the action scene were done by the actor himself with no stunt even the high jumps, in healer, the actor left 75% of the action to his stunt doubles, & the acting is def not at all better lol
kari MinHo Ji Chang Wook did some of his stunts himself and the dangerous ones were left to the stuntman. This usually is done in all movies, series to protect the actor, because the actor holds the face. If the stuntman is temporarily injured he can be replaced, because he doesn't show his face on the show/movie, and is not the one selling the tickets, ratings. Also there's nothing wrong with a stuntman doing some of the action sequence since it only increases the level of action we get to see on screen. As for acting, I like Lee Min Ho most of the time, but there's a level of sensibility, humor that Ji Chang Wook has brought to Healer, that is absolutely brilliant. I argue the same about Park Min Young, she's so much better than Han Ye Seul. and I wonder how in the world I never knew about her before this show. And lastly what's more important, the story line. Healer is much more compelling, the way it blends the past with the present, the way it avoids most cliches and doesn't let mere misunderstandings that other dramas use to separate the characters and create unnecessary conflict, and character development is really amazing. The psychology of these characters who have lived through abandonment and find solace on each other is also written and played so beautifully. I don't think the percentage of stunts done by an actor is what defines the quality of a show, even though we don't really know how much JCW and how much LMH actually did.

Loved this series particularly because all of the characters were so much more than their looks and they were written and acted with such rich dimension, unlike this interview which focuses quite a bit on just proportions and appearance.

I agree. The only other actor I find similar, in that you just can't take your eyes off him, is Joo Won. And of course Song Joong-Ki.

I really enjoyed this Video. It's one of the best I've seen. And I had just finished watching The Healer for the 10th time. It's one to watch for the great and interesting storyline, many times over for the romance, humor, action and great acting ability of all the performers. And the finale with personal photos of the different actor's posing with each other together was enjoyable to see.
And of course, we all love The Healer!

I am a big fan of PMY..when I saw her new kdrama I was recognized her leading man...who named JI CHANG WOOK....and it's a big capslock WOOOOOOW!!!! DAEBAK!!!! I couldn't find the words to say...most specially when HEALER was aired in KBS...I didn't watched the full episodes film...so I decided to watched it tru YOU TUBE...because I read a lot more gossip regarding this kdrama...and I found it is really truth....it mesmerized me, all scenes in the episodes was lots of excitement...I was captured that this is the 2nd action film of PMY...the one was airing in SBS...last 2011...that's why I really like PMY for being a humble actress. ..and HEALER caught yhe attention of all viewers...because as I've heard u got a high ratings...its hits!!!!!CHUKAHAMNIDA....lots of changmin supporters was expected another project for PMY & JCW....

I remember seeing him in that drama Smile Again, didn't really watched the show even tho it's kinda popular. I also remember thinking he looked amazing. But now after watching healer, i just can't get enough of him. He looks like a combination of Jae Joong, Chang Min, Lee Min Ho, Ji Sung.

Park Min Young comeback with a new film
This drama is like a re-make of Lee Minho's City Hunter , same idea with only some differences & it has a similar covert action hero, i love Healer for reminding me of City Hunter :)
They're totally different. There's just action scenes that may remind you of Shitty Hunter, but the action scenes, acting and romance are 10 times better in Healer
Jonida Sanço better? maybe for you, not for me, specially the acting & the action, in city hunter the action scene were done by the actor himself with no stunt even the high jumps, in healer, the actor left 75% of the action to his stunt doubles, & the acting is def not at all better lol

You know that's not true right? JCW did most of the stunts himself but he was humble so he gave his stunt double the credit
kari MinHo Ji Chang Wook did some of his stunts himself and the dangerous ones were left to the stuntman. This usually is done in all movies, series to protect the actor, because the actor holds the face. If the stuntman is temporarily injured he can be replaced, because he doesn't show his face on the show/movie, and is not the one selling the tickets, ratings. Also there's nothing wrong with a stuntman doing some of the action sequence since it only increases the level of action we get to see on screen. As for acting, I like Lee Min Ho most of the time, but there's a level of sensibility, humor that Ji Chang Wook has brought to Healer, that is absolutely brilliant. I argue the same about Park Min Young, she's so much better than Han Ye Seul. and I wonder how in the world I never knew about her before this show. And lastly what's more important, the story line. Healer is much more compelling, the way it blends the past with the present, the way it avoids most cliches and doesn't let mere misunderstandings that other dramas use to separate the characters and create unnecessary conflict, and character development is really amazing. The psychology of these characters who have lived through abandonment and find solace on each other is also written and played so beautifully. I don't think the percentage of stunts done by an actor is what defines the quality of a show, even though we don't really know how much JCW and how much LMH actually did.
Jonida Sanço you are so wise, i agree with you. I think healer is the best because the drama really brightened my monday and tuesday. Just like the actors said, healer drama bring peace and joyful in our mind and heart and all the emotions blend in one 😃

Loved this series particularly because all of the characters were so much more than their looks and they were written and acted with such rich dimension, unlike this interview which focuses quite a bit on just proportions and appearance.
