Very good video. Even though it was much easier with engine out of car. We were able to see clearly what was going on in good lighting so it will be easier when we do ours. Also a good reference to follow ad we do ours. Thank you very much sir!
Pls i have been issued with my mitsubishi outlander 2005 timing belt cutting or pealing. In two weeks I have changed the timing belt more than 4 times and two days ago I changed the low pulley and I fixed another belt in. Hoping for it to work out for better this time. Please what can really be the issue of timing belt cutting or pealing sometimes?. Thanks
@@wongautofix5680 I've installed mine last night, took me 4 hours all went well. I also managed to lined up Crank, Cam, Oil pump timing marks. Rotate for several times and it goes back to its original marks. Good stuff.
Hi, great video sir - very well done. does this engine have V-TEC ? what is MIVEC? I have the same motor and when the engine is hot it will lose power but when it's cold it has power. I changed the spark plugs and the same thing
Boss idol bka pede request hehehe!! Bka pede mo ivideo kung papaano nman linisin un transmission filter ng mitsubishi outlander 2004 un naka vertical un pan... Hndi yata kc napapalitan un filter nun eh.. Salamat... Kung pede lng nman hehehe!! More power sayo idol
FYI the oil pump timing mark is CRITICAL because it drives the forward balance shaft and oil pump. There is a plug on the block that you have to place a screw drivers in to make sure the balance shaft is in the correct timing when you put the belt on. Ask me how I found out about that the hardway.
My 2003 outlander is leaking oil from some where behind the timing cover ??any idea where it’s coming from I thought it was crankshaft seal but no oil there ???any help will be appreciated.
Kabayan ok lng b di palitan yung water pump kung wla leak? di nmn massira yung timing belt kung mg sieze yung water pump kasi di nmn xa connected sa timing belt. nk connect lng xa sa serpentine. slmat bro

Do you this for a Lexus sc400 1994...nice video if only we could all just pull out the entire engine lol

I'm curious what ended up happening . The utensil using is suppose to go straight thru right no block or resistance

About your valve cover gasket?
@@wongautofix5680 no oil up too . Was reading a forum that stated to check the timing tension bolt get loose and leak but is there oil there?
If there’s no sign of leaking oil there, you don’t need to worry, about your camshaft seal?
So what u think it can be?

Must timing belt be changed with the whole engine out?
No, i just need to replace the old engine so it easy to replace the timing belt out of the vehicle
Are the timing belts directional ?
No
